  1. ^ Can you prove that sig is yours? Sorry, but there's no way 4be2jue can know whether you ripped that or not.
  2. ^ I think it's because the edges are poorly antialiased, making a white sort of outline show up when you're using a skin with a darker background. Some of the buttons have the same problem on the background colour I'm using.
  3. A lot better, background looks quite good now. Though I'd say just remove the text completely, still not great IMO.
  4. Were you talking to me? If so, I'm fine with that, but it's up to you. You don't have to 'prove' anything to me, it's just my personal opinion.
  5. Nice job. I prefer V3, the colours are nice there and I think the sig looks better without (big) text on it. Maybe make the sides a tiny bit darker though, but not as much as in V2.
  6. Agreed. It's just what you said, a graffiti brush with a render on top and some text added. It's just thrown together, hardly involves any of your own work and takes very little skill. And I don't even like the end result, the text doesn't fit and it looks really boring. You may like simple sigs, but at least put some time and effort into them.
  7. ..111 ....1 ....1 ....1 ....1 ....1 ....1 111111111
  8. Cheater. :P As for ideas, something that involves penguins maybe? :-w
  9. #1 and 2: They look quite promising, not terribly exciting but I imagine they would look quite good with a background. #3: Certainly not the best of sigs. There are messy white pixels all over the place, the anatomy is off and the shading isn't very realistic. Also, is it just me or do some of the lines look like they were auto-antialiased? #4: I really like what you did with the grass in the background, even though the hills (assuming that's what they are) are really unrealistic. The animation looks good, but the whole mage lacks shading. #5: Again, quite a decent background, but the character lacks shading. Also, I think some of the colours you use are a bit too bright. #6: Same as above really, but the linework of the jetty looks a bit messy and could do with some cleaning up. The pose of the character seems too static, too. The more recent piece is really cool actually, I like all the different colours and it is clear that a lot of hard work went into it. Good job.
  10. I really wouldn't know whether it's accurate or not, but I'd say it looks decent. Though I agree with Julius that it's a bit too perfect for a medieval-ish wall.
  11. I also think V2 looks slightly better, though I'm still not a fan of the green stripes. The background is really nice and has a lot of potential IMO, but the stuff in the foreground just ruins it for me. Also, what's up with the mountains in the top left corner? They suddenly seem to go from light to dark.
  12. Pretty nice, I really like the background, colours and effects. The render is a bit hard to make out because of its small size and the glow, though. Also, I'm not a big fan of the text, mainly the placement could be better. But overall it's a really nice signature.

    ^ Don't get what?
  14. So do I. The sticky was a nice concept, but I just can't see it work to be honest.
  15. No problem, and I'm really glad you appreciate it and don't take it badly. =)
  16. I think it's pretty useless TBH, and takes up too much space.
  17. It's not great TBH. I realise it's a first signature, but it could still use quite a lot of work. The background doesn't fit the render, and is really boring. It would look better with some colour(s) from the render in there, or at least better blending. It really needs something added to it to make it look more interesting, too. Like I said, the render needs to be blended, it sticks out like a sore thumb at the moment. Take a look at some tutorials for different ideas on how to do that. The text stands out way too much and is too big for my liking. The colour doesn't really fit either. It doesn't have a border, and could do with one. Usually a 1 px black stroke around the edges works well. The quality of the sig seems really bad. I think you saved it as a heavily compressed .jpeg, making it look a bit blurry. Like Julius said, http://www.deviantart.com is a great site for tutorials. Just keep practising and reading them, and I'm sure you'll improve. Also, please don't take this post badly, I'm just trying to help you with C/C and my honest opinion, so don't be discouraged.
  18. Gallery Dictionary
  19. The newer version with the colours shining from the logo looks pretty nice, text is a vast improvement too.

Lol? :P I know it's just a typo, but funny nevertheless... And @ the OP, like Uno said you can't just use someone's sprites. :shame:
  21. I think this is half a topic that got killed during downtime. My guess too. Those half topics are really weird.
  22. Probably just Planetrenders. I really like the new version, great blending and the font works well actually. Great job.
  23. I quite like it. The font isn't great, but I don't really mind it. Not a big fan of the simple black background though, it could do with something more interesting added to it. But I still think it's one of your best sigs so far. :)
