  1. ^ Looks nice. I'd just redo the arms (they're a bit unrealistic), the rest of the person looks fine. Sorry for this random post/spam...
  2. I definitely prefer V1, I think the blur on the second one is too intense. But good job on the sig.
  3. I meant that the right side (so all the blue stuff on the right of the render basically) looks like it's a horizontally flipped copy of the blue effects on the left. If you would put a mirror in the middle, it would look almost the same.
  4. As always, looking awesome so far. The colours are a bit bright maybe, but they do work, and I'm sure it will turn out great.
  5. ^ Just click the quote button and copy/paste the code. :
  6. Cowboy's edit is great, I'd definitely try to do those things he showed you. Obviously the background still needs some work too, and the grass doesn't look very realistic. It's better to manually pixel it instead of just using the spray can tool, yes the result may look decent, but also pretty boring. If you look at a photo of RL grass, you'll see it looks more like little plants and not like a lot of dots. But good luck finishing the pixel.
  7. Thats not true. Only because Jopie's a she ;) o.0 And yep, Lego is right. The newest sig looks really nice actually, good effects and the background is really nice. Just work on render blending a bit more and maybe try to make the blue effects look less symmetrical. But, good job.
  8. Looks decent, not bad, not great. I like the effects and blending, but the dead centre render placement doesn't work too well, and the sides look pretty boring. Not a big fan of the text either, I'd definitely get rid of the reflection effect. Other than that, pretty nice.
  9. ^ Please read the first post.

  11. [bleep] Jopie, where'd that come from? My twisted mind. Thanks guys. :D
  12. Bit of an experiment/random thing.
  13. Next time I doubt you'll get away with it that easily... Let's hope that there will be no next time and you learnt your lesson, ripping is just pathetic. :| As for the new signature (assuming that you actually made it ) it could use quite a lot of work. You seriously need to work on making backgrounds, effects, text etc. Like Chaz said, http://www.deviantart.com is your friend.
  14. V2 is decent, though really messy. The render/logo definitely needs blending though, and the background doesn't seem to flow well.
  15. Link sig = win. Love the effects, just can't fault it. Second one's pretty nice, but I think the C4D is a bit too obvious if you get what I mean. It would be better if you erased some parts (little area bottom left for example, doesn't really flow), and maybe changed the blending mode/opacity or something like that. Also, a bit too bright, but still cool.
  16. It looks pretty nice, though a bit chaotic. I quite like the background, but the little glowing dots don't really work and are a bit too much in my opinion. It's not a bad signature, I'm not blown away by it.
  17. It's not bad, I like the colours and sprite placement and everything, but I'm just not a big fan of that splatter-filter-ish effect. It's probably just personal preference, I've seen signatures with a background effect like that before and didn't think they looked great.
  18. Looks good, 65% works well.
  19. Looks great, especially V2 is nice. The No SQUARES!111211!!!1221!one! version is pretty nice too, but I just think it's a bit empty without them. Maybe reduce the opacity of the squares a bit to make them stand out less, but KEEPZ T3H SQUARES!!!11221!two1!
  20. Count me in too. \ And I'm pretty sure he meant a sprite signature contest.

Yeah I can't see anything that really looks like a focal either, which is a bad thing. The text is really bad too, and stands out way too much. Just keep reading tutorials (the first one you see there is bad, but most of the other ones are pretty good) and keep practising.
  22. It looks pretty nice so far, but I'd definitely remove the blocks over the photo in the banner. They're really annoying and don't go with the rest of the design very well. But other than that, not bad so far.
  23. You're definitely getting a cookie for your photography, I love it. Especially those landscapes look great. The 3D work and posters look good too. The myspace layout background is quite nice, but near the end of the cliff it looks a bit weird where the grass stops, and that style is overused IMO. It's nice, but I've just seen too much of it. As for the "View's Got Talent" poster, I definitely prefer version 1. I think the splatter brushes on the other version are just really distracting. But good job overall, some really nice work.
  24. They look pretty nice, I like the first one. Though I do think they're a bit simple, the first one for example looks like a blue radial gradient with brushes and a logo on top, and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. It works, but doesn't make a terribly exciting wallpaper.
