  1. I think it looks pretty nice. Not a big fan of the handle like you said, but some other parts look really nice (like the stone). Not sure what else to say.
  2. It's not bad, I actually quite like the simplicity of it. Yes, it could do with some spicing up because it isn't terribly exciting at the moment, but I think it looks good as it is.
  3. Because it doesn't help anywhere near as much as pointing out the bad things. ;-) As for the signature, I'm not a big fan of it. Like said before, the background is pretty blurry and it just doesn't seem to flow well. The render could use quite some blending too, it stands out a bit too much at the moment. I think the strokes at the the top and bottom are quite distracting too, and the text isn't great. It has potential, but could be better.

Tis nice, but the text could be a bit better. Maybe a less curly and cursive font? Though I think I still prefer the previous one you entered for this theme. :-$
  5. Lol, same here. Not a big fan of the signature. The render looks better now, but I still think the background is too blurry. The render really needs blending too, and the [bleep]y things behind it are annoying. It needs some touching up, but it could be a good signature.
  6. ^ Pretty much all the C/C I'd give. I have always liked your style though, I still remember some of your older work which was great. Welcome back? :P

They're all a bit... simple. I'd call them snapshots rather than real photography to be honest. I'll wait for some of the great photographers to come in and give detailed C/C, but personally I'm not a big fan of any of them. Though, the last one looks kind of cool.
  8. I just can't see this work. The Gallery focuses more on serious artwork rather than quick, 'funny', but pretty bad edits. Also, I wouldn't really call this a manipulation contest, it's more like a 'funny' edits contest. In other words, I think the title would put people of, because they would expect something more serious from a thread called 'Photo Manipulation Contest'.
  9. Don't really like the text either, but other than that it looks good. The sky is great (as always), and the mountains look pretty good too.
  10. Indeed, some good improvement. The only things to work on here are blending and making the background suit the render better, the colours don't seem to match. Also, try to sharpen up some parts of the render like Chaz said. Keep it up.
  11. Looks quite good, but it's hard to see where the render stops and the background starts in the area underneath his right arm (our left), which isn't a really good thing in this signature.
  12. Really nice, great blending too. :o I think I prefer any of the first three versions, the colours seem to work very well there. Though, I do think the effects get a bit boring if you use them on a larger part of the sig, and I agree with Chaz that it would look nice with a C4D or something added to it. But it's really nice as it is.
  13. Great painting, I've been wondering what you looked like for a while. :P The sig looks pretty nice too, I like all the colours and just the way it looks really. Though there is a bit too much white in there IMO. Good job.

Really nice, I like the background and the way it flows. Though it does look like it could use a C4D or something added to it just to spice it up a little.
  15. Pretty nice, like you said it's a bit messy but still really well-drawn. I'm not a big fan of the fire though, it just doesn't look realistic I think.
  16. Not bad, I quite like how the left and right sides have different colours. The render could use a bit more blending though, not a lot, but it stands out too much IMO. The purple C4D on the right seems a bit strange too, maybe recolour it to fit the rest of the signature better. And I'm not a big fan of the text, although it isn't terrible.
  17. Just downloaded it, and I really like it. Looks really nice and smooth too. :geek:
  18. Quite nice, but again I'm not a big fan of the colours. Still like the style though.
  19. I currently don't have time to comment on all of them individually, but I think the main things to work on in most of your sigs is blending. You might want to make some of the backgrounds a bit more interesting, too.

Really nice, one of your bests so far. =D It's a bit blurry maybe, but I like the blur on the background and the effects are pretty nice. Great job. :
  21. Pretty nice, the blending could indeed be a bit better but it isn't bad. I think it would look better with some more colours from the render in the background though, it's slightly... brown at the moment. But overall, a really nice sig.
  22. Quite a nice tutorial, I'm sure it will help some beginners out. It's a grunge-ish background I'd say, but I imagine you could make it look more like a real grunge background by smudging with different brushes.
  23. Pretty nice, good effects etc. The text really doesn't fit though, but other than that it's a nice signature.
  24. The signature isn't too bad, but it seems a bit messy somehow. I think that's mainly because there are some effects over the render, which usually isn't a good idea. And I'm not a big fan of the text, the placement in the corners is pretty bleh and the font could be a bit better (although I wouldn't know which kind to use here). The drawing is definitely a big improvement from your last ones, it still looks a bit messy and lacks real shading, but you're getting there.
  25. I think the SotW entry looks quite nice. I like the effects near the sides (wireframe C4Ds = <3) and the pentoolings, but I think there's way too much white near the render. Lack of colour sort of lets it down too IMO.
