Look, I'm going to be honest with you. Unless you have a LOT of practise prayer switching (maybe you td or something though I'm not sure you can do wgs without rfd...) there's is a 99% chance you won't kill jad on your first try (it took me 14!) The waves are easy. I mean really easy. So long as you're not a complete moron and you remember what to pray and to keep your points above zero you'll have no problem doing them. Best setup for you would be... FSH Karils top and skirt Ranger>snakeskin boots Rune c'bow accumulator Fury>Amulet of ranging Ranger>Snakeskin boots Archer ring (i)>archer ring> Explorer ring 3 Spiky black vambs? not too sure about these... Shield is up to you, personally I used zammy book and I think with 99 def and Enhanced Excalibur (though tbh I much prefer your name of Excalibur extreme lol) that'll be fine for you. Whoever suggested using DFS spec against jad is either so pro they can do 500 things at once or doesn't have a clue about how much you have to concentrate. Use broad bolts for the waves and diamond (e) for jad. Learn the monsters and when they come, It's worth noting that you don't have to pray range on the 90s though some guides will suggest you do. Try tanking them for a bit in one of the waves and you'll soon learn whether or not you want to waste the ppoints. Invent should be: 3 range pots, diamond (e), Enhanced Excalibur, 5 Brews, rest Sup Restores That's the best, though if you want to use some sharks/prayer pots that's up to you. Try not to panic, pray range as soon as you get to jad and only switch to pray if you hear the retribution prayer, try not to panic, remember to concentrate, try not to panic, learn the waves, try not to panic. There is NOT always one in Neizinot. In fact this week there isn't one there. Your best bet would be to go to world 60 and go to the south yanille wall. There were 2 trapped there yesterday so at least 1 should still be there.

All good apart from the last one. Anything with a high def you need range stat bonus that you just don't get with void (unfortunately). Void works better on monsters with low def and the att doesn't really matter if you're safespotting (which you should be).

I can make mithril bolts myself, so this might the way to go - i'm aware of the fact that mithril bolts only adds +82 to ranged strength compared to broad-tipped bolts has +100 You DO NOT have to learn the ability to fletch them, you can just buy them from other players or from the GE (so long as you have the required slayer level) Also, Obsidian cape? Get Avas accumulator NOW (think the quest is called animal magnetism). Then sell your obsidian cape, buy some decent bolts and "pwn da nubz s(4rab" Gl and Hf

I think you're forgetting to take into account the major flaws of GWD... claw drop rates are about 1 in 250, hilts are about 1 in 600 you can only get a handful of GWD boss kills solo per trip, and you have to get 40 kc before you can do that at GWD there's cutthroat competition and easy to be crashed. if you die solo, you can't get your stuff back at TDs it takes 5 minutes to get to them, there's hardly any competition, and there's no waiting between spawns. plus you don't use many supplies. It is possible to get your bandos stuff back if you die while on a solo (though everything else you said is true)

i dont think the GWD monsters ever become un-aggresive without a follower item for said god. I can confirm that they do OT: If OP wants to add me in game, I'd be happy to show him the ropes and the best places to kill them, invent etc.

Actually it doesn't Your title isn't a question, I genuinly thought this thread was offering advice on how to make junk with profit. I'll assume you're asking how to do this, in which case I'll question what you mean by "with profit". All Junk = profit if you can sell it, that's the whole purpose of junk. I'll assume you're asking what 99% of the junk related topics before you have asked which is, how do I make large amounts of junk quickly? The answer? Don't. It's ALWAYS faster to make straight cash then to make junk and then try to sell it. The only reason to use junk is if you already have a lot of it from earlier skilling or from buying it from someone else to balance a trade. If you're convinced you want to collect junk, try maple longbows (unstrung). Or if you like monster hunting, I seem to get lots of poisoned darts from black dragons.

Or better still, you could start the quest (or even finish it!) it only takes about 15 mins to get up to that part anyway.

No, you only need 40 to get into the boss's room to fight them. That goes for all the GWD bosses. You do need a mithril grapple to get into the eyre and kill those there. Wait, o.O so i can't just fight the avi's right off the bat? because i don't want to fight the boss at all. In short: If you have loads of money, go full arma otherwise something along the lines of: barrows helm (Verac is nice)/archers/robin Karil/dhide body dhide legs (or barrows but I don't think you'll need it with your def) SS, Obsidian, Granite shield (I used a holy book for the range and pray bonus) fury avas broads for the waves diamond (e) for jad Archers Ranger/snakeskin Barrows gloves/vambs Whenever I did it, I used this invent: EE, Diamond (e), 3 ranging pots (you can use the high herb equivalent if you have the level), 5 sara brews and rest Sup restores The curses are VERY useful (I thought anyway) they help alot against the 360's and will help at jad a bit as well. Best of luck (took me 14 tries but was definately worth it :thumbsup: ) @ Muggi: I agree with you to an extent but you have to bare in mind that having better equipment/stats allows you to relax more. They mean you can complete the waves more easily using less resources so you won't have to worry about running out. They also mean you have to be good at pray switching for x number of attacks rather than x+20. So yes, it's true that if you can't pray switch there's no point even attempting it no matter what the equipment, if you're not pro then better equipment will improve your chances. 99% sure this guy meant to say MTA I recommend you do the quests. They can take a few hours but for anyone with stats like yours that won't be a big deal. And after desert treasure you could burst rock lobs and get your summoning up too =) Good luck with your training!

He's not doing speed runs, he's contemplating training on the monsters. OT: It's really not worth it. I've watched quite a few 10k kc at barrows vids and the loot is always pathetic (somone pc'd it and it turned out to be about 130k in runes + bolt racks).

So they make everything complex, over dramatise it, and annoy alot of americans whilst at it...... So it's not all bad ;) (BTW I can't wait to move out of this country for a while, going to go to america for a bit after uni ^^) Because rounding down makes everything complex and overdramatic???? The reason for the rounding down (as I see it) is so that it is actually possible to hit 0's. Think about it: if a man hits you for 0.1 and you always round up, then you would have been hit for 1 hp. But if a man hits you for 0.0000001 and you always round up, then you still would have got hit for one. So every stike would be a guaranteed hit. You could never tank. Ever. If you only rounded up when the hit was .5 or higher, then you'd still take a considerable amount more damage (about an extra 1 damage 50% of the time) which would make low level training on anything other than chickens virtually impossible. It's worth noting that they still round down, even under the new system. If I were to hit a 147 now I could actually be doing all the way up to 147.9 damage and it would still count as 147.

Some people may not be able to get this many casts in one hour due to lag, mistakes, random events or distractions, but this is what is possible.
