Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
I know this is nothing compared to 99% of the pictures in this thread, but I'm proud of it. Got myself full void over the last couple of days :D Then (after quickly completing necessary quests) got myself some range gear. Would have gotten ranger boots, but didn't have a spare 9mil+ :( Oh well, staying at yaks till 80 now =)

Why are seers rings unbuyable?
Let's examine that prayer pot remark: Clean ranarr - 12.3K Grimy ranarr - 11.7k Prayer potion (3) - 11.3k I could sell and lose about 400gp each or I could save the pots for my own use. I wouldn't sell the pots either - this is not rocket science and to blame a clan is just scapegoating. It makes no sense to sell at these prices. If I make any prayer pots nowadays, I hoard them like the treasures they are. Actually I heard that smokin mills is currently merching prayer potions and have for the past few weeks, apparently they're not selling till 38k either so good luck trying to buy them

Could I kill the Troll King?
I very recently completed this quest (a couple of days ago) so my advice would be to let the other fighters get the first 10 trolls down to low hp and then just run in for the killing blow. Just as you enter the cave there's a big pillar on your left side (can't remember whether it's NSEW sorry) so if 1 is attacking you, you can lose them by running round it. Don't forget that the guy by the entrance will give you free strength potions, prayer potions and food (tuna I think). My advice would be to use a poisoning potion (dds p++ works great) and then just swithch to your other best weapon ( I killed it with a dragon longsword). Wish you all the best!

10th August 2009 - Fur 'n' Seek (and Patch Notes)
No, you just learn how cryptic clues work. They're not meant to be read literally. Like take this one I remember hearing a while ago. Famous Person: Crazy Kebab. now reading it straight forwards, it makes no sense, but by looking at synonyms for the words we get Mad Döner or the Singer Madonna. This clue works in a similar way. By "Bandos Follower" you can just read "Ork". So you're simply left with Big Ork which isn't too far from Bork

51-59 Magic for F2P
The thing about telegrabbing is that it is SLOW!!! you have to wait for the thing to respawn which happens, what, every 30 seconds? let's say every 20 seconds on a full world. And let's also pretend that you don't have any competition and are able to grab them all as soon as they respawn. That's 3 a minute. At 43 xp (?) per cast that's 3 x 43 for 129xp per minute or 7740 xp per hour. To get from 51 magic to 59 you need 135,941 xp which would take you 17 and a half hours at that speed. But don't forget that you have to do runs to the bank as well everytime you get 27 wines. And you're not going to be 100% efficient anyway so I guess we can round this up to about 20 hours of training. Plus you're not getting any other xp (like hp) that you would from other forms of training.

51-59 Magic for F2P
I think the most efficient way that won't have you waiting forever for supplies would be fire bolting. Chaos runes are pretty low right now so just buy a load and some airs (they may not buy instantly in G.E. but they do buy) and then go train! Some suitable monsters are the hobgoblins across the water by the crafting guild (bring some laws to telegrad useful drops) or the lesser demons on Karmaja in the volcano. The lessers have alright drops (don't forget to bring your Lumbridge ring 3 for the 30 free low alchs a day and the +1 mage bonus) I'm currently casting 25k fire strikes on the lessers in the volcano for 70 mage, got about 8k left to do. I find it easy to watch something else/read forums while training because the lessers have such a distinct death sound that goes on for about 4 seconds so you know when you have to look back. Good luck!

Runescape I-spy
Jagex already have a system like this... It's called Slayer

RC Exp Per Hour
I'm a total noob at this (never used a tab in my life!) but wouldn't it be easier to use some kind of Jewlery teleport so that you save yourself an inventory space?

Prayer update, is it around the corner?
I really like the sound of this. I read in one of the God letters ages ago (I think it was a zamorak one) that Saradomin controlled the different prayers so it would make sense for the other Gods to come out with their own versions.

Message center isnt working?
I'm saying it's a possibility, I'm not a mod, but I think I read that somewhere. To check black marks, go to the runescape homepage, go to the help section (there's a load of bars alond the top of the screen) and click on "appeal Bans and Mutes". Then log in. You'll then see 2 pillars, which give you details about any black marks you have, mine are both in the green zone (no rule breaks) check to see if yours aren't.

Message center isnt working?
I don't use the message centre too much so this is a guess, but maybe messages expire after 1 month/6 months/ a year? My advice would be to check your black mark level as they may have messaged you to report a rule break on your account and you may find out there. Other things they message you on are billing changes and I think offering Mod status (sucks if you missed that)

AFK'ing
Yes Jagex have said it is against their rules and as such you can get banned for it. It's nearly impossible to prove though.

Could I kill this?
Could you summon something to fight it? Or how about bringing unstrung bows and some bowstring along with some unfinished arrows? I'm not sure whether these would work, sorry. But Good Luck!

Closest Anvil
F2P? Varrock. Don't know about members

What to range.. what to range?
Wow, way to listen to what the guy asked for... Tbh, I would just agree with Ray Oxide. Those dragons bones are far too tempting to resist.

Moving back to F2P
If the items are cheap enough, you can trade them to a friend who has some bank space so he/she can unnote them and trade right back. Yeah, but finding a friend at the right time with money on them can be a pain. ANYWAY: just read the guide that was posted above and saw that you can "remove as items" from the G.E. I may be a total noob for not knowing that, but I'm sure happy that I found it out!

mining ess question
There are faster ways of making money as a member than mining pure ess, even for lower levels. I haven't been member in a while so I don't know any current ones, but my instinct is to tell you to use another method, and just use the money you make to buy regular ess. It should work out as saving you time.

Training Attack or strength
It depends, did you like going to 99 def? If so I'd recommend just picking one (Maybe attack as you can train with whip but it's up to you) and just sticking with it. Personally, I'd get both of them to 95 first (or even 98) and then training one of them as you *should* get faster xp.

Moving back to F2P
I had to cancel my subscription suddenly and have a really messed up bank atm... You say you're going to be F2P for a long time, but how much do you want to do in F2P? will you be happy only training a few skills? Recommended placeholders: Gold (obviously) Full Rune Beserker shield Rune Scimmy (+ 2H if you want) Full Green D-hide Maple Short bow Couple of types of arrows (your choice) Every f2p rune (except maybe cosmics) + fire + air staffs Rune Pik + useful ores (coal, iron, addy etc.) Useful metal bars Rune Hatchet + Useful logs (willow and yew) Hammer + chisel (you can just buy a new one as ther're cheap but I like to have them) 1 of the cut gems Food (I recommend trout and salmon + lobbies because they're what I fish myself but it's up to you) Fly fishing rod + feathers Lobster pot Rune ess + any tiara you might want Amulets (power, mage and strength) Cape Big bones (wouldn't recommend if you're ever going to get members again) Err, that's about all I can think of atm. Of course everyone will need different things. I mean, if you're not going to be training fishing, you can forget the rod + feathers obviously. Oh, and you might want to get all the minigame items if you can see yourself using them. Hope I helped

When to raise defence [F2P]
Good for F2P, but not for spiders. At level 110+ Spiders get a lot better. Thanks for letting me know =) It's just that whenever I've gone down there, there have been people a lot lower than me. Not that I'm trying to hijack the thread or anything, but what stats would you recommend for the spiders then? I wasn't planning on raising my attack above 75 (not sure I see the point) but I would if you said it was benefitial. I typically train with full rune + beserker shield, safety gloves (I know I should get the FOG ones but all my tokens seem to go on beserker shields :( ), SOS boots, wildy cape, power amulet with a rune scim. I have a bank full of member items so can't use any food better than salmon :S but I have loads of them.

When to raise defence [F2P]
Unless you want to make a pure (which you might as well do considering you've already got to rune weapons with 1 def, just get strength higher and you're in business) you really should have trained def already. I really cannot see any point in training strength/attack more than 10 levels higher than defence (unless you're training against something like chickens :S Oh, and in case you were wondering where to train, Fleshies all the way. I know that at higher levels you're meant to switch to the spiders but I've tried them out and I prefer not having to bank every 15 mins for more food. And my stats are pretty good for f2p

Best Void Set?
This. Seriously, it's not much more work to get both and they really work well (in the right situations!) If you really cba to get both then get the one you think you'll use more. Instinctively I'd say range is better, but that's because I prefer other ways of training mellee

Remarkable Runescape Characters
I got it, though it is obscure. The first rule of Animal farm was "all animals are equal" This was then amended to "all animals are equal but some are more equal than others" (not sure on the exact wording) To unspam: Masseur Apparently he told Jagex it would be a good idea to make red hits red and 0 hits blue.
