  1. I wouldn't rely on community spirit to solve all my problems. I know if everyone would instantly report all the bots they see and stop buying from them they would be gone overnight. But anyone who thinks that is ever going to happen is doomed to fail. If I were Jagex, I would try to make a program that could detect the cheaters easier (I doubt it's impossible if they just try), at least one more effective than what they currently have.
  2. Maybe Jagex should do that. They already have bots in customer support, so why not ingame as well? :XD:
  3. But aren't they the ones with all the money and resources?
  4. That's partly it. I just hope the God Wars dungeon won't be the same way. I don't want a thousand people on RSOF rants bringing down my thread there. :?

I have never been physically bullied. It's more of being psychologically isolated. There wasn't really anyone in school who hated me. But people stayed away from me. I can be quite antisocial at times. I suppose it's partly through how I chose to act, but a lot of it is just the way I am. I look at a group of kids talking in class and wonder why the hell are they talking when they could be studying. :wall: I went through a really angry period in the 6th grade. I never let myself relax in front of anybody, especially at school. I'm not even sure why I did it. I guess it was just because I was unhappy with the way my life turned out. But i've learned to deal with it. Now I actually prefer not talking to anybody. It means I have more time to think and improve my mind. :P The worst part is when they come up to you and talk to you like you're their best friend. Tomorrow i'm going into 9th grade, and if anyone gives me problems i'm just going to stare them down. 8-) Exactly. :) I used to spend a lot of time thinking about how I was going to take over the world when I got out of school. But now I spend time thinking about how i'm going to stop people from taking over the world. :P It just makes it worse. The best thing to do is to occupy yourself with something else to take it off your mind.
  6. I don't think it really matters much whether there really is a universe of if i'm just imagining everything. Either way as long as no evidence of either theory exists I can just remain ignorant. :-w Of course if you really do think the universe only exists in the mind of people that believe in it then you technically control reality. Like if you imagined and consciously believed that you were on fire and everyone around you also simultaneously believed it then you really are on fire, eh? I recently read 1984 by George Orwell. It was really interesting. It's about a society that consciously deceives itself into thinking things that aren't necessarily true but become so because everyone believes them.
  7. Umm, they...do...put flouride in water...As for starbucks - probably. I wouldn't put it past them. Crafty people those Starbucks employees are. :anxious: This isn't a laughing matter... -.- You'll remember this when we're occupying Iran and have money chips implanted in all of us. (of course in ameros, not dollars).
  8. Another brainwashed American. #-o
  9. :boohoo: I'm afraid you've been duped. :boohoo:
  10. Before I thought that pure essence had no effect, but after reading this I realized it just made things worse. Sure you have to spend $5 per account to do it now, but it's so much more profitable than before (which is evident from all the p ess autoers walking around on every member world). Paul needs to go take an economics class before he completely crashes the game. :shame:
  11. Um, EVERY major game has autoers. He'd stop making money. Does that make them okay. If Andrew would actually try I know he'd find a way to get rid of autoers.
  12. 1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? Probably. 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? Yes, but then I would pray I don't get hacked. 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? If this actually happened, the guy would probably be ready to quit anyway. I would be too suspicious of some kind of scam to take it though. 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? I'd go tell them to get a better password. :P Seems easy so far, this is where it starts to get a bit harder. 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? Yeah, but i'd probably give it back if he begged enough. 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? I don't duel. And Finally, the big one that expect the vary the most 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it? TBH, I'd probably give it back. I'm really not somebody who cares about valuable items. I like skilling more than showing off.
  13. But then your statement of "I still don't believe they'd do it to a seven year old." doesn't make sense :?. I'm saying that they have their own set of morals that are different than anyone else's. The reason they won't do it to a seven year old is because they know a seven year old can't truely comprehend their belief system, though a 16 year old probably can.
  14. The only reason they wouldn't is because the 7 year old is not yet old enough to fully appreciate the 'gift' of being a suicide bomber, and not fully capable. Yes, gift; thats what it's considered. Some kids actually BEG to become bombers, even at that age and earlier, but wait until they are 14 or 15 so they become capable of doing some damage. Their parents, as well as most of the radical community, become immensely proud of their children when the deed is done. I think you need to realize the terrorist mentality, and change your mentality regarding these issues; its not a curse to them, its a blessing. They believe so much in their convictions that their god will reward them for killing people in his name. Child suicide bombers feel rewarded in this. Your thinking of it as, say, letting a 7 year old join the US military. Its the farthest thing from that. I was pointing out that so many people seem to think of terrorists as evil killers when they truely believe they're doing good.
  15. Theoretically the price shouldn't rise, since all those santas were just sitting in the bank and out of circulation.
  16. If I were Andrew...I'd just sell runescape and start a different game. With all the gold farmers, it's kind of pathetic. But if I had to update the game I would add a whole lot of new areas, like islands and kingdoms and such, with a little bit of something for everybody. I would also make a dragon pickaxe (really dumb idea, I know :) ).
  17. No...humans are too ignorant for one-world government. The UN doesn't care about the third world. No one does. That's not where the oil is.
  18. I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but here is a link regarding suicide bombers in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_suic ... n_conflict And a quote, from the article "estimated 20,000 children involved in active combat roles in the Sudan alone" Hmm, I never knew that. But I still don't believe they'd do it to a seven year old.
  19. Actually, its not uncommon for children to be suicide bombers. Really?
  20. Why does everyone seem to overreact to everything? Just because you drew a gun in your notebook doesn't mean you plan to start a shooting...
  21. You're exaggerating. I don't think the terrorists would send a kid to do their bidding. Remember that they have their own separate ideology. It's not some mindless cult. If they can arrest seven year old kids, they can arrest anyone. It's just an example of the government's policy of "You are the Terrorist!". I honestly would rather be a little less secure if it means we will keep our sanity. Not that it matters. I know full well that the terrorists are still perfectly capable of launching a major attack. They're just biding their time. The terrorists are winning. They're turning us into paranoid twits. That's what terror does, eh?
  22. Waiting for an answer. Laws would change in order to "harmonize" with the rest of north america. It would probably favor big corporations more than the average citizen (which is bad).
  23. A bug might set it off. What if the alching spells suddenly stopped working. What if an error made it possible to attack anyone anywhere?
  24. I wouldn't count on it... I haven't read it, but i'm planning to get it at the library today. I don't understand the fact that people know governments are corrupt but they neglect to look into them. Have you ever considered the possibility that by the end of this century we really could be in a world like the one george orwell wrote about in his book? (again, i've only heard about, planning to get it as soon as possible) Have you read about operation Northwoods? That was a plan hatched by the US government that involved killing american citizens and blaming it on Cuba as a pretext for a war. It was never done, but just the fact that the plan was seriously considered is disturbing. I'd recommend you google it or something...
