Mind Altar Glitch and Bug Abuse?
But, yes, you are. You win the mind altar, and you can just stop. Not do anything. The unfair advantage comes from when the other players on the other team are still running around, playing like it matters. You gain advantage because they don't get credit, and they also waste run. I would like it if everyone reported the bug... Jagex doesn't even recognize bugs in minigames right now, so keep submitting reports until they do.

Rank the skills!
Alright, I'd like to know what you think are the hard skills, what are the easy skills. Put 'em in a list, and be prepared to justify it. Also, only go with what you know, for instance, I'm only f2p, so you won't see me putting agility on my list anywhere, nor will I argue with you why construction needs to be before runecrafting. We'll go hard to easy. [hide=My list, from hard to easy]1. Runecrafting 2. Crafting 3. Prayer 4. Smithing 5. Woodcutting 6. Ranged 7. Mining 8. Firemaking 9. Fishing 10. Cooking 11. Magic 12. Hitpoints 13. Defense 14. Strength 15. Attack.[/hide] Alright, what do you think, and what is your list?

Hypocrisy in PvP.
Its not so much that he's attacking me, its the reason why he's attacking me. He starts hitting me afterward, and the discussion goes: me: Off? him: Nty. me: Off? him: No. me: Why don't you get off? him: cause you atk someone lower than you. At this point, he could have said pretty much anything else and it wouldn't have peeved me so much. Because I attacked someone lower than me. He could've said, free xp, or red pixels, or even, just cause.

The player's bill of rights
What you're looking for isn't exactly "rights", more or less entitlements. We demand that you give us what we want! We demand that we can kill each other! We demand you make skilling easier! We demand ... ! Seriously though. Even if you do pay membership fees, you should not receive any rights. It's not like you own a bit of Jagex, as in shareholders, its more that Jagex owns a bit of you.

Mind Altar Glitch and Bug Abuse?
Here's to bug abuse, eh? I know that whenever I'm playing, I stop running at the mind altar. I also tell everyone else who's playing to stop trying too, because of the glitch.

Hypocrisy in PvP.
IF person A is fighting person B - and person B reduces person A's health to almost nil, then person A teleports into varrock. Person C attacks person A, on the hopes of killing him right then and there. Person A dies - but person C doesn't get the drop. Why? Because Person B did the most damage. Hypocrisy: a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess. The first 3 are examples of hypocrisy. The last one, the tangent, is just annoying.

Mind Altar Glitch and Bug Abuse?
Now the question at hand - If, while knowing this information, you deliberately don't try at the mind altar, does that constitute bug abuse?
-
Hypocrisy in PvP.
Do you get credit for the kill? No, you don't, because someone else lowered their hp.

Hypocrisy in PvP.
I don't care that higher levels are attacking me. If you read the post, you might understand that. What bothers me is why they attack me. Until I become a level 126, your solution doesn't work. But I'm not going to keep arguing you, because as we all know, Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still [developmentally delayed]ed.

100% f2p - an achievement?
I started playing sometime in 2005. For arguments sake, I'll say my character is 3 and 1/3 years old. Call it 40 months. In that time, I could have spent around $200 for membership, faster training, better content, etc. I didn't. It was a personal thing - why pay for stuff that is free to me anyway. That's my own personal mentality. If I paid for a subscription, I'd feel compelled to play the game more, instead of pick it up for an hour, and leave it. Being 100% f2p is not an achievement. However, there are things to consider when comparing stats from members to f2p. First and foremost - a pure F2P has 1 agility. Every 7 seconds, they get 1% run back. This makes virtually all skills harder to train. Secondly - Worlds are always much more crowded on F2P. There is less space on a F2P, less sites for training, etc. When training combat this makes a huge difference. Third - Skills are much less "buyable." A good example would be prayer. Getting 99 prayer with F2P using BBs (350 ea) costs 303 million. Fourth - We can only carry 28 items. In runecrafting - Members have pouches, BoBs, etc. Last - Making money with F2P is [cabbage]. Probably most guides with "200k / hr + exp" or better are p2p only. Oh, and as a side point - I value my 62 f2p only runecrafting, probably more than I value my 89 f2p only str. Something about being ranked around 90,000; with members having RC about 5 times easier makes me feel good. That's something you members can't take away from me :P

~Creative Insults~
ftw. I think I'll use that anytime that I'm really upset with another player - that made me lol a little.

Mind Altar Glitch and Bug Abuse?
Sorry, this isn't what I'm talking about. Go to world 61, win the air altar, and then stop trying. If the other team wins the mind altar, read the text at the end of the game - You'll have an extra win you didn't earn.

Hypocrisy in PvP.
I'm venting here, hence why I'm putting it in the rants section. If you can make me feel better, go for it. If you can make me laugh about it, go for it. If you're going to respectfully disagree, go for it. Otherwise, make your own rant ;) . So, I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate it when you attack person A, and they either ask for you to get off, or teleport, or run into a bank. Person A happens to be a few levels lower than you. Then, once they leave (in this instance, they teleported instantly), Person B comes in, (who by the way has a much greater level difference than you) and starts attacking you. Why? Because you hit someone lower than you. And, through their own reasoning, they're going to bring justice to the situation, and kill the "meanie" - who, by the way, did not pursue the person who teleported, or got off when the person asked them to get off. In this case, I had to teleport to get away from them. =D> Congrats idiot, you're a hypocrite. If you're going to do that, don't tell me why, just let me think that you're attacking me for the easy PK. ___ Another thing I don't like is when someone calls you a safer, but they're eating more than you are, to a fuller extent. I get to 20/79, eat a lobster, to 32/79 - This makes me a "noob safer!" - when they eat at least twice every time they get to the same point. =D> Congrats idiot, you're a hypocrite. Maybe somewhere someone should define it- Safing is eatting when your health points are outside the range where someone could kill you with one hit. OOooooOOOoooooooo - there, I just defined safing. Call it, Sees_all1's definition of Safing. I don't care if you safe, just don't call me out on it when you're doing the same thing. ____ The last thing I hate about PvP is how people complain about PJer's in bounty hunter, or similar. IMO, there are 2 types of PJing, the classical example is pile jumping - where a player hits another after they've PK'd, and are picking up loot - which I can understand why people are peeved about it. But, seemingly there's a new definition - player jumping. This is where someone is getting hit, and someone "jumps" on him, to bring him down, usually during a no-arm. What I can say is that probably everyone has done this - so the people that whine and complain about the injustice of PJers annoy me. =D> Congrats idiot, you're a hypocrite. The other thing I don't like, which really isn't hypocrisy, but its definitely annoying, is the players that sit at the teleport location in varrock - and whenever someone teleports in, they hit them. It took me a while to figure out what they were doing, and once as I was running away, and said "off" - the guy asked, "So u hve food?" This means that they're waiting for people to teleport in, and PJ them - why? for the heck of it I guess, anyone who kills someone like that sure as heck isn't going to get a drop. =D> Congrats idiot, you're an idiot.

Mind Altar Glitch and Bug Abuse?
I'm sure most everyone who plays the Great Orb Project is well aware that Jagex sometimes can't count right - due to the fact that whoever wins the Air Altar wins the Mind Altar too, in the final tally. If your team wins the air altar, and stops playing, to restore run, take a break, or whatever, is this bug abuse? Seems to me that Jagex has dragged their feet on this one, and shouldn't penalize the players who recognize this. thoughts?

Opinions on Revenants?
but that would be like, giving f2p something. You can't do that!! :D I don't think revs were meant to be hunted and killed, at least on f2p. When revs first came out, I was going from clan wars to a bh, when an orc happened by. I foolishly followed it into level 20 wilderness, past, where I was owned in 6 hits. You can't eat fast enough with lobsters on revs. About a month ago, I was at clan wars, in a very busy world. Another orc happened by, and let me tell you, it was like pking of old. About 20 people bum rushed it, killing it in 2 seconds.   That was probably in my top 10 favorite moments.

While Guthix Sleeps secret requirement
could be that you already have the required attack, and that because you got the next level it now deems you eligible. hmm... interesting.

I'm SICK of junk traders, you should be too
I understand junk trading can be annoying- but its how I got my santa hat. It was 14 mil at the time, and I had to buy 1/2 mil of willow logs. I was willing to pay up to 16 mil for it, so I was happy. That is the only experience I've ever had with it. I ended up selling most of the willows after having it sit in the GE at lowest price for a couple months, and put quite a few of them into the party room. Go figure.

May I offer you a slice of Failcake? Mmmm... failcake. The best type of fail. Nom Nom Nom.

F2P Stealing Creation !?!
Check out world 125 - its F2P, and the activity it has is "Stealing Creation". Does this means that Jagex flubbed up, and accidentally did that, or that they plan on releasing a f2p version of it? thoughts? (btw, I reported this as a bug already... we'll see what happens.)

Please tell me, Why do some players want to have 1 defence??
In F2P BH, the first thing a pure is going to do is to ask you for a "No Arm" - that way defense doesn't matter any more, and they're able to hit much higher and faster than you.

PvP Issues in F2P
I don't know about you, but I am actually a lvl 89 F2P'er - with 89 str and 75 mage. Dress up as a mage (IE use runecrafting clothes, or combat robes - none of this cruddy blue skirt, blue hat, etc), attack someone with rune. If they have any sense at all, they'll take their armor off. Keep fireblasting until you get them to around 25 health, then whip out your R2H, and boom, PK. Also, bind is a piece of cabbage. True, it would be nice to have a much better hold spell, but when jagex gives you lemons, make lemonade. You need to use magic near a fence to be completely effective. A simple side step keeps them there for about 2-3 hits, before they have enough sense to come to your side, then repeat the process. Use bind only when they're running to the bank - keep them away from there with your bind. ______ I also PK with my nub acct, sqelt. He's got 52 mage, and I can tell you, I've never lost with him. Try making a low level, they're easier to kill with.

Range Haters United!
I don't like how rangers can hit their max consistently, or at least on F2P. Sure, someone maxed in melee can hit a 32 with a rune 2h, but they don't. I also don't like how high level rangers can hit through armor. It seems that at a higher level, the combat triangle goes to [cabbage], and range > melee > magic.

Non-pkers on PVP
I just got onto my lvl 35, sqelt, and had my way with about 5 people in the dwarvian mines. Most fun I've had in ages on RS - they all had armor on, and either killing scorpions or what not; none of them had food. Just goes to show that low level melee << low level mage. :P

What's that obnoxious stench? (Updated)
This is possible - but the week you take adjusting to this will be absolute hell. I would not recommend doing this.

Great orb project.
I agree that some people need to realize they need to take a breather... but Jagex did a poll on "how do you like minigames?" - I think this decided how GoP was made. I agree that people who leave should get larger penalties, or people who stay get rewarded much better.
