  1. You should also add that you should only use void in the smoke dungeon if you're already using Eagle Eye, since Eagle eye has the same drain as protect prayers and is better than void.
  2. Actually, since you're comparing the two's usefulness in relevance to each other, you don't need a third party, e.g. you don't need to state the dpm of the dragon 2h to compare the dpm of the d scimitar and d long. Of course, by bringing up that third factor, you're implicating, "Wait! you're forgetting the XYZ weapon which is better the both!" I can tell you right now that the whip is worse in terms of pvp than both the godsword and the d claws purely because it lacks any sort of burst damage. And since pvp and pve criteria point don't really have any exchange value (e.g. 3% usefulness in pvp translates into 5% usefulness in pve), you can't just combine the two and come up with "the most useful weapon of all time"; you come up with "The most useful weapon in pvp" and "The most useful weapon in pve" and they both happen to be the same weapon (which is false in this case.) Then it'd be like one of those comparisons with a player with 1 attack, 1 defense, and 99 strength; and a player with 99 defense, 1 attack and 1 strength, in order to try to find out whether or not strength is better than defense. It's a pointless discussion that won't prove anything. D claws are better than godswords because, while godswords are better training, you'd be crazy to train with a godsword in the first place.
  3. ^That's terrible. You think it's so bad that you won't even try it? What sort of twisted logic is that?
  4. Ogre Enclave is the best place to kill blues. ~7 spawns; you should use the two furthest to the east as they're the two that's closest together.
  5. My friend's setup: Verac's helm Arma pendant Black d'hide top Verac's skirt Unholy book Snakeskin boots Archer's ring Rune crossbow Emphasis is on prayer bonus.
  6. DFS is fairly useless for slayer; the only tasks you'd use it for are dragons (irons and steels should be blocked, the blacks are quick tasks, skeletal wyverns and miths are rare tasks). In terms of higher-end equipment, your first priority should be to get a fury. Second would be berserker ring. If you have both and have plenty of spare cash you can go ahead and buy a bandos chestplate. DFS is a worthless, overrated piece of crap. BGS is a worthless, overrated piece of crap. Bandos tassets are a worthless, overrated piece of crap.
  7. Description is very lacking. Also you should indent whenever a new person speaks.
  8. You contradict yourself. If it is in fact true that a whip is only 1.5 times as fast, then the godsword would likely end up dealing more damage, and thus more xp. Given that the SS is the same speed as a whip, it would then logically follow that the GS is better for training strength. As to the comment about the multiplying max hits by speed, i was merely demonstrating that I could potentially hit more with a whip in the same time as a godsword, not an exact result, although multiplying damage by speed does produce a potential hit. As to the comment about the fighter torso, that is simply not true. While i prefer bandos, the fighter torso is both free and decent armor, with the best strength bonus for a torso in the game. I would certainly rather have a fighter torso than a bronze chainbody, and I think pretty much any other rational person who is not trying to instigate a pointless argument would say the same. It should also be noted that you don't have any reasoning to back up the fighter torso< bronze chain comment. Your calculations must be wrong. If you can hit 29 with a whip (assuming that you are using a rune defender), your max hit with a godsword is 36-37, according to the Tip.it max hit calculator. The reasoning is obvious. Fighter torso takes a long time to get; the lowest estimate I have heard is 5 hours. That makes it the most time-consuming platebody in the game to acquire. In that time you could have obtained hundreds of thousands of combat xp, or several million cash.
  9. Melee (Guthan's)? Are you talking about meleeing barrows with guthan's, which is obviously incredibly stupid? Probably should change it to Mage (Guthan's).
  10. ^Slayer>bandits. And kill Bork; he drops 5 blues per kill as well as 7 crims, 2 greens, and a bunch of gems and coins.
  11. He's killing them to make money. Getting max kc is horribly inefficient; you'd have left behind dozens of good herbs by the end.
  12. Answered? The OP's question wasn't a simple yes or no question; he was asking what was the best way to kill bronze dragons. Someone suggested a method that I disagreed with. But really if you've done smoking kills you shouldn't be using chaeldar.
  13. ^Not really. Mage is ridiculously weak at your combat level. And most rangers you'll face probably have 90+ range to your 70 attack and strength.
  14. I hate it when people say "it's random so there's no percentage rate". By definition, anything randomized must have a rate.
  15. how does it hit harder then bandos? Umm... with void your max hit is higher than your max hit with bandos. Tip.it max hit calculator says bandos hits harder but that's incorrect.
  16. Why do people pray on bronze dragons? Tank them; they don't hit crap on good armor.
  17. Void hits harder than bandos. But you lose 5 prayer bonus.
  18. If you're a mage or ranger it's best to ignore your melee and focus on range, magic, and defense.
  19. Whip is not twice as fast, it is 1.5 times; and besides you can't just multiply max hit by speed and expect an accurate result. And SS>>GS for strength training, not to mention that it is less than half the price. Fighter torso is a worthless piece of crap that is perhaps the worst platebody in the game; bronze chain would be preferable for most players.
