  1. Get 40 defence and wear a green d'hide body for 17 ranged attack ;)
  2. I haven't tested it, so I can't say for sure, but I did recommend it and say that you should test them. Void worked just fine for me, but as always, Your Mileage May Vary. I heard the rule of thumb is if you're hit rate is 80% higher you're better off with void (probably a bit conservative; people use void against fairly high-defence monsters). At barrows you'd hit like 1 in 3 or 1 in 4. I use void just about everywhere, which explains a lot. The way I look at it is that the majority of your hits will probably be on the spec hits, and any damage you can add there is very helpful, so the higher hits that void allows will be more helpful than the slightly boosted accuracy of normal hits. Again, I haven't tested this well enough to be able to tell the difference. Spec activates about 1 in 10 or so I can tell from watching my friend play. He once tried range barrows and he killed Dharok without diamond spec activating once.
  3. Just bring black d'hide and a lot of good food.
  4. You'll need at least 80 attack and 80 strength. For setup something like Verac's skirt and Karil's top (get your range to 70) and Verac's/nezzy helm and BGS. You'll also want higher prayer and mage.
  5. 2 prayer potions are good for 3-4 chest runs in a single trip; if you're doing one run per trip you need one or zero doses. All the brothers can be killed pretty quick. And the brothers you pray on are ahrim, dharok, and karil, not verac, dharok and karil. I haven't tested it, so I can't say for sure, but I did recommend it and say that you should test them. 6. 400k profit an hour gets you 40k+ xp if you're fighting in the main area and 55k+ if you're fighting in the Eyrie.
  7. Ahrim would destroy you in full metal armor. Karil also hits incredibly hard on high ranged defence. Black dragonhide would be ridiculously superior to void.
  8. Guthan's heals up to twice as much as unicorn which makes it easily five times as much as a bunyip. Problem is that you don't need that much healing in most cases.
  9. You need something armadyl. Also god coif>archer helm.
  10. Sara sword is probably better unless you have a low attack level. It's only like a 1-2% difference at best though.
  11. I've heard 40 attack, 90 range, 70 strength, 1 defence. Wouldn't get 43 prayer but 31 is good for 15% strength (10% works fine though).

Fire wave>slayer dart btw unless you're 99 mage.
  13. Think it's like 25.
  14. Think Range 90+ Def 85+ Before you even try Saradomin solo. I'm not even sure you could get 1 kill a trip with 80 range. I doubt that. At sara you take far less damage than any other gwd boss when soloing. Besides, I've heard of people getting 10+ kills a trip.
  15. Bandos is safer and more profitable.
  16. Verac's owns the hell out of Torag's; the helm and skirt give the same melee defence and slightly lower range defence, but they have a large prayer bonus which is extremely useful. The brassard has much worse defence but has a very low mage attack penalty which will increase your accuracy considerably. And full Karil's?? The coif gives 3 ranged attack rofl. And bolt racks are expensive as hell. If you're ranging a rune crossbow with diamond bolts is best. Verac'ing with 80 attack and strength... lol. Verac's requires 90+ combat stats if not 95+. Fire wave>slayer dart.
  17. Bandos is a waste of money. Use Barrows; better stats and cheaper. Tassets are junk compared to Verac's but I'd consider the chestplate to be superior to Torag/Guthan/Dharok plate. Armoured zombies barely hit anything so you really don't need the defence bonus. Besides, repair costs for plate alone eats 3k off your profit/hour. And bunyip doesn't make that much of a difference since, as I said, they are very weak. Bunyip DOES make a difference, a BIG difference. It makes it afkable, if you really want to pick up bones all day and cast bones to peaches, it's up to you, but I'd rather bring more pots with bunyips. Say, (I'm not sure, I used bunyips and didn't measure damage) they hit a average of 5 damage per minute, those 5 damage may look small but it piles up, fast. I have tried no bunyip pouches to armoured zombies before, even though enhanced excalibur healed me, there have been times when I nearly rol'd when there were chains of hits. And I have 80 defence in torags + other barrow armour with similar stats. 5 damage per minute means you can camp for an hour on just 14 pineapple pizzas, without excalibur or regen or anything (with either one of those you only need a couple pieces of food to last for several hours) B2P is absolutely not worth it here; it'd be more efficient to just pray melee. Bunyips heal 352 damage once they run out and they're cheaper than pizzas. Plus it only takes up one space and heals for you so you don't have to even pay much attention. Why are you trying to argue that something that costs more, requires more attention, and more inventory space is better? I didn't say food was better than bunyips. I said that bunyips don't make much of a difference.
  18. ^The bones are worth 7k and the hides 3k. The 125 (I think) prayer xp you get from burying them is only worth 1-2k or so. So it'd be smarter to bank the bones and leave the hides.
  19. Good thinking, I'll give it a go ^^ What's the point? Halberd is weaker than range.
  20. Yes, though I have no idea how that's supposed to kill you.
  21. If you have a lot of spare money go ahead. They're good in any situation where you don't need the defence of barrows. However if you Piety (even at armoured zombies) then you should use Verac's.

  23. G maul is a decent special weapon. The 150k price really isin't much to consider, although I would just stick with D Mace. Regen Bracelet might help if you are bunyip or Unicorn tanking, and are just slightly dipping into the food, although Barrows gloves are best if you are fine as is. I'd personally never give up my barrow gloves for anything but void. Also, it's not the price of the maul that decides it's usefulness (you can resell anyway). It's the inventory space and the loss of another speccing weapon that decides wether it's good to bring one. This leads me to the conclusion that you shouldn't bring a maul. SGS, enchanted excalibur, D mace, maybe even dds are all better options. D mace spec is barely any better than regular hits by an SS/ZS anyway. The maul's spec is very fast so I'd try it.
  24. Are you sure +2 str > +19 slash? indeed i am. i have used rune defender there before and THE EXTRA SLASH MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. with super sets, piety and a salve amulet(e) you will amost always be hitting. ive done 2 trips to test this. one with obby shield (+5 str) and rune defender (+5 str and +19 slash) and the exp was only 1k/hr higher for the defender which can simply be down to luck (your never going to hit exactly the same between 2 trips). im sure if i did the test enough time that the split would be 50/50 on which one gets the most exp in the hour the +2 strength will help more. ill test this to prove my hypothesis when i have time and the will to You honestly think 2 strength will give you 1k bonus xp? It probably won't even raise your max hit, only increasing your average hit every so slightly.
