  1. so your saying 300k-400k gp. for decent summoning? well thats way off i have spent over 4m (after selling pouches) for 65summoning :x then handle your money better. I spent 50k on 41 summoning and only used a few more afterwards. If u wanna save cash, use smething that uses few shards and get your own seconds
  2. It's the fact that these "noobs" train summoning to boost thier combat levels and then proceed to act like they're more superior to others. If they trained summoning from combat 118-124 they are no more stronger then they where before so I don't know why they use it as an ego booster. That's what turns me off from the skill. not everyone trains summoning to increase his/her combat level you know. I trained it to 41 using tomes and tears and I did so for the bull ant, minotuar, and macaw. I will proceed to train it for the higher level familars. Also, they are stronger. I would imagine a person is better than before if they can summon a beast that is above or around their level to help then in combat or skills
  3. It doesn't increase you're respect, maturity, game intelligence, niceness, honesty, or any other genuine traits that you see from legitimate high levels that have determination and can actually comprehend these people/social skills Precisely. Really... Really now, was that really thought out? Respect: A lvl 128 will be respected the same as another lvl 128 if they are not wearing any armour. The respect is unchanged by most unless you stat spy. Maturity: How does anything increase your maturity? 10 year old has a high summononing level on one account and and high "old " combat on another account. He is still as mature aas a 10 year old ;) Game intelligence: so the fact that you have to know where to get the charms, have the ability to get them, have the resources to know where to get the cash and then know where the most effective way to make pouches requires no intelligence? Uh-huh. And killing any monster for an extended period of time makes you a super genius? riiight... get back to me on that ;) Niceness, honesty: refer back to the 10 year old model (not bashing 10 year olds, just so you know. Just clearifying the immaturity point) genuine traits: what traits? I have seen incredibly nice low levels and high levels that act like [cabbage]. determination: so it takes no determination at all to get thousands of charms and the cash for shards and the second ingredients is what you say? Then with everyone boosted a few more levels, the high level bracket you speak of should be higher than you imagine. Actually, the new high levels have another skill to work on so getting into the new high levle group is harder (I.e. a lvl 100 was high level, now level 105 is high level. The level 100 just had to do more work to get to level 105) I personally belive that summoning is a great skill that easiy is part of your combat in a multi-combat place and sometimes single combat. You have to admit that a lvl 128 with 99 all "old" combat will have a good chance of failing when he/she fights a lvl 128 with 99 summoning and 91 all stats. I would love to see that person lose when the lvl 230 hits it with 4 powerfull range attacks over and over and over... (dont forget the 15% def boost!) Even at low levels it helps. I have 41 summoning and 84 combat. I can use a familar to heal, boost defence, help me mine or WC a bit, increase my inventory by 50% while providing extra run energy, or have sometihng help me kill faster in a multi combat area. As long as you have a fighting familar with you, the extra 5 damage or so every minute is definety not a hinderance. Maybe you could try to summon before making such bold comments on how it can't affect a combat level. EDIT: looking at your stats, i'd say that 1. you can infact kill a stell titan, but probably not 3-4 that a summoner will sommon, while the summoner is still attacking and 2. you have high stats. I would guess you can just keep your charms until you max combat (w/o summoning) and then use them. The only problem is the money im sure you could handle that. :)
  4. Why do you say that. I never thought even at the hieght of some of the more crappy randoms that they would take them away. They have done that to how many since they started, all of two I think. YOu say you came back after a year or so :-k Jagex stated in a development diary thaey are eliminating many of the randoms
  5. I think that quick chat is nice. IMO The 2 worlds just created are for 1. Muted people 2. people trying out quick chat 3. Peopl who are working the system. By that last comment, I mean that most people think the same thing. Quick chat worlds are far more underpopulated, so that makes it perfect to go to some places on your own. The first day It came out, I was working on 70 attack fighting Mossies. I used that world and for a long while NO ONE appeared... at all. around an hour later 1 person came and thats it.
  6. D lol. im going for 99 summoning in the first week  (unless i am still in Hawaii) and 99 hunter  (although im pretty sure neither will happen  )
  7. i plan on doing it as soon as it is released (unless i am still in Hawaii, then i will play as soon as possible and most likely go for a really high level the first day (timberwolf?)
  8. you may wish t oedit this with the infinite stock and G.E. prices. Also, when going chaos druid running, it is a great time to use those extra imp in a boxes. You may, however, want to check on that. If you dont have random imps stored for later (like i do lol) it will be pretty useless. Anyway this is a great guide
  9. maybe the experience can be brought up a bit. For a person who can get a lvl 3 clue scroll, 4.5k exp is not much to them
  10. A very small one. Not moving when you set a trap, or choosing where you can move. its very annoying when you always move west.
  11. seems good, and maybe the same could be done with hunting (poor noob hunters, still laying boxes in a straight line #-o ...) ANyway, I support
  12. I dont belive that that is his point. I belive that what he means is that at lvl 99 you should be able to teleport to the ess mine and save time to get the runes, am I correct? It seems good, but the only problem I see is that if you were in a dangerous place, you could just type that and be teleported to the mine. Maybe if it happened, it should be done with only full health. also, maybe a cooldown would be nice to prevent it from being incredibly overused, or even used to get the random event. Also, there should be an option to where you teleport to.
  13. Pretty good. Ill have to analyse it to look for mistakes... But the "what if I die" part is particularly good because good farmers cannot trade their lended money to cheaters. Howeverpeople who merchant, if they die, they cant mmerchant back the money. Also, i could see a few problems. The person could borrow the money, spend it all then never log back in. Maybe you should make it so that if then money is due back, then it just comes to the person (like a monster just died and sent the money straight to their inventory) and is constantly lost from the bank account of the person who owes it. Then the money can be paid back, regardless. However, i did not think about this thoroughly so meh
  14. I have two stories for you. First one: John was so happy. his friend said he would sell him an abyssmal whip for onlt 1.3 mil! he was overjoyed. before the GE came out, he sold all of his useless things, although, being the pure meleer he was, he did not have much. He decided that since he did not need it anymore, he would sell his rune long. He tried to sell it for 10k, just the amount he needed for the whip. However, no one would trade. This is because The amount john tried to sell the sword for was not in the 3k price range. Porr john ended up having to go to wildy to PK. But on the way, a reveanent killed him dead. Poor john Bad example^ Second: Jack sux at life. He sees a website that offers runescape gold for real money. He pays $5.00 for 1 mil. The trader meets him in lumbridge swamps. He trades him 3k. "Hey! I paid for 1mil!" the trader trads with him again. and again. and again. The trader gives John his 1 mil and all he had to do was keep clicking. And if a random were to kill him, he could respwan in lumby and get his stuff back. Jagex does not see that there will always be a way aroung their efforts unless they remove trading completely. Silly JaGex
  15. Lets see what JaGex messed up with: ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined impling scouts (you can hardly trade 2 d arrows, let alone half) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined presents ( I give my friends stuff all the time!) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined wild (now if you run into something, your doomed ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined parties ( eliminated party room parties along with drop parties ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined pity gifts (I give random people stuff all the time) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined essence running (27 laws not= 27 p ess) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined cheap trades ( I need 20k for whip. Now I cant sell that old rune sword for 20k to get it off my hands and make money) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined the point of friends on RS (now all they can do is chat and hang, they cant help you, even the ons in RL) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ruined high level trades (Can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t haggle down a phat by even 3k!) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Wild is more dangerous (you could easily get lucky and go where you need. Not anymore.) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ F2P no longer can mine rune ore(unless they are very good combat) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ No discounts ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ No loans ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ No ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅI quit̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  16. hmmm... this is actually not too bad. =D> Could I suggest adding sections for those who cant use whips, or those who like to use range/mage from the towers? (If not, too bad, because I just suggested it anyway!) EDIT: first post \
  17. nice article :D but you gotta remember, just because you are a high level, doesnt mean you are not a noob :P
  18. I'm not completly sure what will happen, mostly because we do not know how it will work yet. However, I do know one thing... BANK SPACE!!! yup. I can get rid of a whole bunch of nooby things like camo, which brings up a problem... What will happen when people put a whole bunch off nooby trash in the grand Exchange? Will it stay there for all eternity?
  19. Some people can't exactly pay that much per month. They could be poor, or just need the money for something more important. BTW you spelled dollars wrong.
  20. They might just be later on... hmmm... anyway, in my opinion, the top 5 useless items are: 5 fliers THey just take up space, but at least they provide information. When I was F2p, it was the flier that led me to Al-karhid 4 broken glass errr... 3 CW bracelet USELESS... unless u are actually getting the flag 2 training weapons Its like bronze weapons on blue dye! 1 satchels They dont even stack in BANK!!!!!!!!!
  21. Does no one like me?... :( Anyway, i am going for 60 attack this week. I got 50 Def. on Sunday. Current combat is lvl 65, current attack is 57 I am: doing pest control.
  22. I did dragon slayer. And i got 49 def. One more to go!!!! Updating pics now :)
  23. I came back from school, and I done have much homework, so I may be able to get on today. Also, i finally got my 40 range... now All i need is to do dragon slayer :( -.-
