Limewire sued for $75 Trillion
More idiot lawyer math time! 6,250,000,000,000 - The number of CDs 75t could buy, assuming $12 a CD. 904 - The number of CDs per person that would be. 1.034 - The number of times greater 75t is compared to the world's yearly GDP. 12,077,295 - The number of M1 Abrams tanks 75t could buy. 208,333,333,333 - The number of starving African children you could feed for a dollar a day for a whole year. 12,605,042,016,807 - The number of months of RS membership 75t will buy you. This is over a trillion years. 7,894,736,842,105.26 - The number of hours it would take me to make 75t at my min. wage job. If I worked every hour of my life for the next 50 years, I would only make 1/15,020,427 of 75t.

DVDs & Hard drives
[bleep] the DMCA 5400 RPM drives are slower, but better for storage as they use less power and don't wear out as fast. If you're looking to rip all those shows, I'd get a Western Digital Caviar Green drive, they're cheaper and more reliable than faster drives.

i7 upgrade...
False. Clock speed is only a small part of a CPU's power. The architecture of the current AMD Phenoms is such that performance is comparable to a similarly clocked Core 2 series Intel processor. Right now Intel is 2 generations ahead, and until AMD's new line comes out in a few months, the only reason to go AMD is upgrading, or buying a processor cheaper than the cheapest i3. In OP's case, I would consider getting an Phenom x6, just check to see if the programs you use are written to use 6 cores. Otherwise getting an x4 black edition and OCing it would be better. Your mobo is AM3, right? EDIT - My bad, didn't notice you had an old socket. In that case I would recommend doing an overhaul and getting an i5 based system, or i3 if its out of your budget.

Account Hijacking & Jagex Item Return Policy
My bad, I should have said legal value.

Account Hijacking & Jagex Item Return Policy
ToS laws aside, accounts and items still have NO value in real life. Now if jagex was to run a cash shop and put value to GP, she could possibly sue for the return of her items. Either way, she's the idiot for not protecting something that could have bought her a slightly used lambo.

SLI and Crossfire
I'm a Nvidia person, so I'd say get 2 GTX 550s, but for 3 monitors you're probably better with a single Radeon 6850 or 6870 for eyefinity.

The Back Room
It's like a civil war out there. Out of curiosity, what's the new forum people are moving to?

The Billboard
Imageshack is my favourite host, as they don't compress images under 5MB. I might post some of my god-awful art later if I can find my old art folders.

SLI and Crossfire
Last time I was reading up on it, the GTX 460 only lost a tiny amount of performance when in SLI, but the loss increased as you go up the ladder. I would wager you wouldn't notice the loss with 2 5770s, but do some googling first.

Which OS to use?
I've only ever had one bluescreen, from an unstable RAM overclock.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
THE FIRST ONE SO BADLY It's ridiculous, sometimes at my already overcrowded school a group of these annoying little [bleep]ers will get in a big group around one of their lockers making it so only one line of people can get past. I've taken to walking right through them.

Gaming Rig - Decisions, decisions
I would take the 590 over the 6990. But the i5 will be more than fine, especially if you overclock it. This isn't coming from me, but I've heard that there's no point in getting higher than 1600mhz RAM if you overclock as you have to change the multipliers or something. I've never overclocked myself, but it's apparently really easy on the i2k processors.

Help with a way to remotely fix/operate a pc!
I believe Windows 7 has remote access, but I've never tried it out. It may only come with Professional. EDIT - In Win7, go accessories -> Remote Desktop Connection. I have no clue how to use it though.

Dungeons game closes after intro
Hmm. What graphics card do you have? Its possible you may have an old integrated chipset that just can't run the game.

Slow internet
Try doing a direct connect from the modem to your computer and see if that fixes anything. If it does, it's probably new router time.

New rig for BF3
99% of people in the world don't care about performance. They care about PRICE-performance. Although I have to admit, that Intel CPU is awesome... You are right about the higher clock speeds though. Higher speed does not mean better performance. Price performance is right. The posted AMD processor is $200, the i5 2500 is $200, and you will get a much better result in gaming from the i5.

Gaming Rig - Decisions, decisions
I wish I could have a 590 (Donations plox?) Anyways I'm going to have to say that AMD is a terrible choice for a high end gaming computer. Go with an i7 or i5 2x00k, and enjoy overclocks of 5ghz on a decent aftermarket heatsink/fan. Read some Tomshardware benchmarks, they show how AMD processors bottleneck high end GPUs. As fo rram, I'd go for a 2x4gb kit, but if you're sure you dont need it, then it's your decision. Sandy bridge is only a problem for gaming if you plan to go SLI. If you can wait a few months though, Ivy Bridge is coming Q3/4 and is going to be the replacement for the i7 900 series.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Notice how the only person who moves in family guy during dialogue is the person speaking. Other animated shows at least have minor facial movements on the other people, but they NEVER move in family guy. Ruined the show for me, along with how McFarlane (spelling?) tries to cram as much of his mediocre singing as possible into every episode. The Simpsons is the only good animated show Fox has anymore, although the occasional American Dad episode can be funny. South Park on the other hand is [bleep]ing hilarious. I could live with my only channels being Comedy Network (Canadian Comedy Central) and CNN.

ever been *tempted* to cheat?
So we can't talk about past rule infractions in a thread about whether you've been tempted to break rules or not. I know you guys are afraid to lose your precious little approved fansite title, but censoring a discussion seems unnecessary to me. Anyways, I've never broken any serious rules. I drop traded 16k once from a noob account that someone randomly gave the money to to my main so I could buy the map piece for Dragon Slayer, and I used the zammy wine lure a few times. Only blackmark I have is from 2006 when I told someone to suck my dingaling :P Never felt tempted to bot, although I probably would have bought a few million gp back in the day if I had a credit card. Wouldn't do any of that now though, as I play maybe 2 hours a week, and as a WCer I know how much of a pain bots are.

TIF is bit over-moderated
I must say that the moderation in the General Discussion boards is far better than the moderation in the RS boards, but that also might reflect the people who post there.

Mozilla screen goes black
Weird, I experienced the exact same problem in the resource dungeon in the normal mine. You should file a report with jagex, saying that other players are experiencing the same problem.
