That doesn't prove anything at all. I had mine as my avatar for the longest time. Most of my pictures start with my first name, which isn't uniform with my forum name. If it was me at the beach, I would probably name it, "Beach," "Me at the beach," or "[My name] at the beach." Just to keep it all in synch with the locations and faces in iPhoto.

I only learned how to use Xcode, and when I run the simulations it would be helpful to see how it handles different finger inputs.
  3. I would agree that you should be held back. Regardless of whether or not you like it, you're failing two core classes that you need to advance through for the rest of your education. At my schools, all of which were on or near Army bases or institutions, failing two classes that were not electives resulted the person being held for a grade. I highly suggest you make those classes up, even if you are not held back.

I have a few questions: 1. Is there any sort of application that allows the user to manipulate more than one on-screen mouse by plugging in two mice? It would be vastly helpful for programming. 2. On the subject of mice, regardless of whether such an application exists or not, I was looking for one to replace my corded Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. I glanced towards Bluetooth mice, and I was wondering how any of the users on these forums felt about them - educated opinions based on the pro vs. cons of Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz receivers or user experience. I believe Microsoft just unveiled a new ambidextrous Bluetooth mice, so that caught my eye. I think I would take solace in having a Microsoft mouse, as I had issues with my Logitech mouse working under OS X even after installing their control center and SteerMouse. Having a variety of programable buttons is almost needed. And, although perhaps unfavorable, I do pride my room on aesthetics. 3. Newegg allows you to return items "no-questions-asked," correct? I views their RMA policy and could not find a definite answer, at variance to TigerDirect (I purchased my monitor from them but they do not offer free shipping). EDIT: Perhaps not at the new Bluetooth mouse, I found this one on their website, though. It looks decent.

    Fixed.
  6. i've seen a picture that someone took in the fightcaves with either a dual monitor or triple monitor setup... was the full width of however many monitors it was He wasn't in fullscreen however. Yeah, it was just the window. I personally tried it with a 20" monitor and a 21.5" monitor. Not easy to maneuver, I might add. Under an IGPU, the game just crashed, however.
  7. So i herd lung cancer was a pretty bad way to die. There is no reason to criticize his choice for smoking; he finds it relieving. I'm sure he knows the dangers of smoking, but that doesn't not entitle me to judge him based on one aspect of his life.
  8. Assuming it is the GPU, yes.

I agree, adhering to the rules is a large priority. However, blocking one ad to play comfortably is different than blocking all of them and far better than abstaining from playing a seemingly unplayable game.

What browser are you using? Firefox has a service called AdBlock which may be able to aid you.
  11. So long as he's happy. If you ever run into trouble, ring me up. :P I found out recently that they did commit another scam done unto me for failure to provide adequate information for a company stock holder (I had previously bought one stock for something near $10). Suffice to say, I mailed Michael Dell without an address given to me by Dell (but it was easy to find out, regardless). I got another call from Dell's Corporate Office and everything was finally resolved provided I drop the charges. Should you, or anyone else require aid for warranty service (as expressed under the United States): Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Section 2-719 of the Uniform Commercial Code, a company must provide appropriate remedies should the warranty prove ineffective. Included under this act, a company must a. provide a repair as expressed under warranty, b. replace the defective parts or item(s) or c. provide an alternate solution fair to the consumer, this is may include a refund of the original price during the time of purchase. Though I will never recommend Dell again as computer manufacture, you have to remember that for every one problem there are thousands that are content with their purchase. Mine just happened to be so severe that I required third-party assistance. Despite having these issues steal my time and money, I learned a valuable lesson: you get what you pay for. So as to not preach the fruits of Apple, I have had issues with the battery latch becoming ill-fitting after opening. A minor issue I suppose, but I did have to give them a ring. Was it annoying and irritating? Of course. I found it no less irritating then when Dell's/ATI's poor drivers failed. But I took solace in the fact that I was not speaking to an outsourced representative, which is what I had included in the cost of ownership. To each their own and if you feel good about your purchase, good on you. I sincerely hope that you haven't any troubles.

Ah yes, I forgot. The OP could put another 2GB stick in. It would bump it up .3-.5GB or a full GB should they get a 64 bit OS.
  13. Then you can't transfer the files over.
  14. Laura replied to Sam's topic in Tech and Computers
You can be limited by hardware, for instance my laptop was limited to 2GB. To take advantage of RAM over 3.5GB you would need to purchase a 64 bit operating system. I couldn't use 64 bit with all the driver issues, but that's just me. Until Windows transitions to 64 bit entirely, or at least makes it smoother I wouldn't recommend it. RAM is pretty cheap, and I suppose you would want another 3GB stick to take advantage of dual-channel memory. I have always used Crucial and they have decent customer support, plus they have software that can determine your system's maximum memory. EDIT: Notebook Review states that your memory is 2 x 1. If so, you wouldn't have a DIMM slot free.
  15. If you have heating problems on your HP desktop, there's chances it's too clogged up with dust. I have upgraded quite a lot my HP computer, I even put a 9800GT instead of the 7300LE that was in there and I have no heating issues. There's just been a battery recall on 70,000 HP batteries. My dv6000 is one of them. Though it only hold a 10-15 minute charge so I welcome a new battery. Not that I use that laptop anymore, though.
  16. Easily, should those be the correct specifications.
  17. A smaller screen with near equal resolution or dpi has little difference compared to larger screens. In fact, a smaller screen with equal resolution and aspect ratio would probably look better, especially if you want to play Runescape.

This is one instance in your life where you have to say no. I used to be a push-over, as I could never say no. People constantly borrowed my phone for entertainment and similar to yourself, always depended on me for projects. After talking it over with my teacher during my senior year, I did a presentation by myself despite being a group presentation. Sure, it was difficult, it isn't as if they didn't know; they were (and still are) my friends. I felt bad for awhile, until I got the grades. I received a 92/100 and they got a 35/100. You have to say no, simply because this one statement will teach you a lesson for the rest of your life. This is hardly about schoolwork. Sure, the situation may present itself at school, but the issue lies deeper down.

    15%? On biscuits? Wow.
  20. I concur but the resolution of all of those ids horrible.
  21. I believe that to be a false statement evidenced by Bloodstain's links.

I always was taught PRICE... Pressure Rest Ice Compression Elevation oh well, doesn't really matter does it? All gets done some how and some way... just one more step... wouldn't pressure be only if the wound was bleeding? no because you still have to stop the swelling somehow or else that can damage some of the ligaments and tendons worse. At least that is just what I have been taught (and I am FAR from being a doctor lol  ) Lack of pressure implies that the item in question has a lack of motion or force (ie, a static item without influence). Too much pressure and your knee would break again. :P More to the point, yes, pressure can help.

Forgot pressure. :P But that picture was soooo outdated. :?
  24. If the PSP doesn't work and you still need to find a network, I'd recommend getting a $0.99 app for your touch called WifiTrack. I have a similar free app (which has since been discontinued) that often picks up on networks the internal finder doesn't find (usually lower-signal ones) and makes it easier to connect to the ones with lower signals. Just in case. :) The iPod Touch and iPhone alike both pick up 2.4GHz frequencies and they cannot detect 802.11n standards or 5GHz frequencies. Should the school network be either one (or both) of these, then no software will help. It is also possible that they have turned off the broadcast of the SSID (which is more likely) and you will need to know both the username and password.

Ima try this method from tomorrow. : . Thanks for help If that doesn't help it, you'll need to get a cast, from what I vaguely remember. Ice won't fix the problem mind you, only reduce the swelling. Rest is the key thing.
