Canada has three major mobile phone companies that form an oligopoly: Rogers, Bell, and Telus. All other companies get stomped to the ground by them.
  2. Haven't even logged in this BXPW, and I don't plan to. 20% extra xp isn't really worth the hassle this weekend.
  3. They had to add that into the news post "just in case we forget" . At least I know where the Hallowe'en festivities are at this year.
  4. Yep. It can also be switched to the other set via right click. But only the cape is f2p? Yep.
  5. I like this reward! Well, to me that sounds like a member's item. Ah well. :wall: I hope I wasn't the only one with those reactions. Also, I will miss my genie lamps. 20k gp worth of prayer xp was pretty good.
  6. To be fair, Castle Wars had some ridiculous requirements for rewards since the very beginning. The highest tier of decorative armour always required months to attain.
  7. You're overestimating the future sex drive of your FB's. As Ginger_Warrior has said, female sex drive goes down much faster than male sex drive. By the time you reach a divorce, many women will have already lost their libido and would not be willing to go on a sex-filled romp. Also, they might not enjoy being in a monogamous marriage, but they are willing to withstand it for the sake of stability. In case you haven't noticed, I am focusing on polyamorous relationships past the early adulthood years, when polyamory starts becoming harder to maintain as a lifestyle. I am not saying that polyamory is a bad thing for a couple of months or even a couple of years, but by the time you reach the age when most women have already had children, polyamory becomes unrealistic.
  8. This. You might think that OLTR's are drama-free, but the fact that you offer your spouse and yourself so much freedom means that there will be plenty of times when she realizes that she is being held back by you, especially if she's 15 years younger. Pretty sure she'd be even more held back by the constraints of traditional monogamous marriage >_> It's not the severity of the constraints that matters here, it's the end result. The end result in this situation is a single 50 year-old back to square one, and a young hottie [bleep]ing a ripped dude half his age. The end result in a traditional marriage is similar. The point I am trying to make is that an OLTR is also very likely to lead to a divorce. You might think that allowing her to see other people would stabilize the relationship, but it just offers more problems, more exactly, more contact with men that are "fresh" to her.

  10. Quick question Muggi: Looking at your posts, by the sounds of it you are into polyamory because of the sexual freedom it offers. What will you do once you reach the age when your sexual drive slows down? This will happen eventually.
  11. Funny, but the top ranked guild in WoW only accepts people that speak or are Finnish. Coincidence, maybe?
  12. ZZ Top - I Gotsta Get Paid. The beards are back in business.
  13. Would the lantern mod that the Yogscast recently showcased work? Go to 2:20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=NVeaWxY0pKI&list=UUH-_hzb2ILSCo9ftVSnrCIQ#t=140s
  14. I try to catch my favourite TV shows as they air, but I find that I never have the time or I forget to tune in, so I usually go to the channel's website and stream it there. For cancelled or older shows that aren't aired anymore, I usually catch them on Netflix on my iPod before I go to sleep. For the TV itself, it is standard cable television, with none of the premium channels. And I haven't bought a DVD (bluray, digital, or otherwise) in years.
  15. I personally look at how far he has gone in the past few years, instead of how close to the finish line he is. The amount of experience he gained is still incredible. Also, it kind of scares me that this topic is filled with so much rage and disappointment. I personally would take a step back and reflect on what happened.
  16. Good luck wherever your adventure takes you next!
  17. At least he could have never heard the horrible music RS used to have.
  18. Saq's drunken plan was quite amusing, in my opinion.
  19. Ah, nice that they reference it. Thanks :). The wolfbane dagger was there before the update, fyi. EDIT: Aww, they decided to make golin raids members only.

You realize those people were still around when restricted trade was in effect right? It wasn't "honor" it was them being denied the opportunity to be asses. Why even consider it then? Because trade restrictions act as deterrents. Laws never stop everyone from doing illegal things, but they definitely discourage it.
  21. [spoiler=Dear God, I post too much on this thread, I better stop] Correct me if I'm wrong, but I did not see a single instance of Old Joe seeing through Young Joe's mind, although the opposite happened a few times. Maybe Old Joe was too blind to see past his actions? [hide]Old Joe knew Young Joe was at the farm with Cid because of his memories. He also saw Young Joe smashing his cell phone instead of going to the train station earlier in the film[/hide] [hide]I can't see any other reason then other than the idea that Old Joe was too blind with anger and rage to realize how his actions will contribute to the Rainmaker's ascension to power. That's kind of a weak argument, though.[/hide]

Let's see: one bot does it once in a blue moon because he can't be arsed to click repetitively for hours. or Another bot does it for many days and floods the economy with goods to fulfill its masters' needs. I'll go with the latter.

  24. Perhaps he meant not traditional? In certain ways, online dating is unnatural because there are no visual/sensory/auditory cues that show how attracted the other person is, which are some of the many factors that the human mind uses to gauge attractiveness. If you look at it this way, the brain was never meant to handle dating in this environment, which is why it can be considered "unnatural" as well as "untraditional".
