I'm about to get back into DG (I haven't done any post-EoC) so I have a couple of questions about this loadout: Why a longsword? Are a lot of the monsters still weak to slash? Which gloves and boots are you using? Why no Ranged? Why no shield (for Rejuvenate)? Hmm...I thought I had more questions than that, but I guess that's it. For now. ;) Although I haven't done much DGing since the EOC, anti-dragon shields are common enough that you're guaranteed to get a shield during your run. Also, you could just buy the novite kiteshield at the start.

I don't have problems with RS personally, and my specs are similar to yours (only difference is that my cpu is slightly slower). Not too sure about LotR, haven't played it in over a year. Could DirectX be a problem? Not sure if an older version of it will affect how games run.

Think I remember hitting a similar curebearer on my noob account. I went through a full inventory of food and I didn't even damage the guy for one single lifepoint. I also found that they overbuffed enemies when DGing for low leveled players, although they might've fixed it by now.

They have also expressly stated 1 will be a gathering skills and 1 will be a production/finishing skill. A pet skill, aside from already being content of summoning would fall into the category of support skills (like agility, dg, thief etc. do) Personally I think the most likely candidates are Archeology and Engineering. Archeology would fit in nicely with good lore stuff as a gathering skill via digging up ancient sites and could easily lead to all sorts of trinkets that could use the pocket slot (which they said one skill would focus on) Engineering equally could be a finishing skill drawing on crafting, smithing, fletching, magic, runecrafting and construction to make various more mechanical type things akin to the Gnome and Dwarf tech already in-game WoW style engineering would be amazing in RS I would love to have my Flying Machine from wow. Maybe Engineering could be learned from Gnomes and you can unlock access to a PoAS (Player owned Air Strip) and the ability to build tree houses? I'd love me some goblin jumper cables.

You know, the more you guys say it, the more I think that Archaelogy will be the new gathering skill. We already have spots for it, it can easily be integrated with lore, can offer junk you can put in your pocket, you are "gathering" things from the ground... Damn it, now I'll be disappointed if Archaelogy will not be the new skill. EDIT: Oh yeah, and I want to see Kudos Island already; it's long overdue.

My ranged rotation: Piercing Shot > filler > Piercing Shot > filler etc, except when Deadshot is available and can do lots of damage. "Filler" can be, in order of best to worst: Snap Shot Fragmentation Shot Ricochet (unless afraid of fighting multiple enemies at once) Binding Shot Anticipation Freedom (it gives you a small amount of adrenaline, which is more useful than just standing around doing nothing). Deadshot to be used when available and the enemy is high enough on health. My mage rotation: Wrack > filler > Wrack etc. "Filler" can be, in order of best to worst: Asphyxiate (seriously, don't delay this thing) Combust Impact (some people may prioritize this above Combust) Chain (unless afraid of fighting multiple enemies) Anticipation Freedom Anticipation and Freedom should not to be used when dual wielding, because your auto attacks can sneak through the 1.8 second window, offering a greater DPS increase than the extra adrenaline from Anticipation and Freedom. I personally use Omnipower when available, but I prioritize Asphyxiate over it as it can prove more useful. I'd also mention my melee rotation, but frankly, I can't remember it and I always forget something when I set it up. As for how they are set up on the action bar, it's personal preference. I like to place my strongest ability on button 1, but other people probably do things differently. As long as the buttons that are most likely to be pressed in quick succession are close to each other, you should be fine.

Can someone explain to me why world 68 was turned into a "Group Bossing" world? Boss hunting worlds would probably be too competitive to be any good. Unless Jagex has some plans for next year.

Seems like there's a bug where I can't use my redstone engines with my quarry. Think it started hapening after redstone engines became incompatible with wooden conductive pipes, which seems to have broken refineries and quarries (unless it's intentional).

People just got used to saying December 12, 2012, then it translated to the numerical date. However, I do soemtimes say 12th of December 2012, because I can :P .

I cannot believe Jagex ACTUALLY pulled off an update without too many people complaining.
