I'd love to see the stuntman that can leap up a tree like a chimp ;) . Honestly, I partially agree with Crocefisso that CGI usually doesn't add depth to a film, however I disagree when it comes to personifying (or beastializing) animals. Instead of using a real animals (which is unpredictable), or a guy in a suit and prosthetics (which can't replicate animalistic movement as well), you can use CGI and mo-cap, which gives the director more artistic freedom and the ability to tweak different aspects of the character to better convey a story or theme. In the new Planet of the Apes, I'd say that using CGI was a necessity to blur the lines between Ape and Man.

Also looked at a few apartments. Even found one that has a $1400 maintenance fee ON TOP of the mortgage. Yeah, prices are pretty borked everywhere. There's no living downtown lol. Even a 600 sqft condo will cost you 300 grand. Hey, I need to get to University without spending hours driving :P .

If you're comparing it to a rune 2H, yes. Theoretically, however, a rune warhammer is much stronger than a rune scimitar, especially against deadly red spiders when using abilities. They are not just weak to crush, but the rhammer also has higher damage per swing, therefore an ability can do higher damage as speed doesn't matter. In fact, if you have someone that is weak to slash and you insist in using a shield, a rune battleaxe would be better than a rune scim, as it does 206.9 more dps (745 dam/3.6 second), while an rscim only does 200 more dps (480 dam/2.4 seconds). Using abilities further increases the difference in damage between a scimitar and a battleaxe.

Just saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes again. Forgot to put that in my top movies, however I'm too lazy to post it in the other thread. If there's a movie where CGI and mo-cap was used to its best capabilities, it's in this movie. It did wonders to advance the story.

Is there a reason why ranged users use batwing boots, yet melee users use carapace boots? I'd think it should be the other way around.

High levels nowadays train at deadly red spiders. If you do train there there for fast xp, for the love of God use a rune 2H sword. I see so many players use a scimitar and shield there then complain the xp is too slow. It is at its fastest when abilities are used with a 2h, at the expense of damage taken and ability to afk.

Maybe you're not supposed to withstand that. Could be one of multiple attacks: A rage attack (if you fought him for too long, he starts one hitting everything) An avoidance attack (a ground targetted ability that you have to step out of, or a charged ability) A "taunt" ability (meaning he does more damage when he is on a target for too long, therefore someone else has to taunt him to reset some kind of damage meter. Don't forget that is possible now in the EOC) A resonance ability (he gives you a warning before he uses his ability, then you have to use a full avoidance cooldown such as Resonance to reflect it. I'd actually love to see that seeing that it effectively means that you have to kill those adds quickly, or have someone on taunt duty taking the kalphite adds of the KK's target so that resonance won't get misused) A prayer ability (make sure you have prayer on to reduce the damage).

Two that come to mind that appeared recently are Contagion and Inception. People say that Contagion is slow and boring, but I looked at it as less of an action movie and more of a satire of the media and the mass hysteria it produces.

Saw "The Hobbit" a few days ago. I'm not going to complain about the story as they stayed fairy true to the book. One definite strong point of the movie though was the CGI. It's amazing how advanced face-capture technology is, and it is very apparent when Gollum was trying to solve Bilbo's riddles :P .

Right after the end of the Summer sale my friend gave me that advice. My inventory has now 21 items in it. It'd be well over 150 if I had thought about that from the start. $1 if you wanted the Steam version. Although, you should at least try for the average, more if you can afford it. Since its not possible to have a 1h bow arrow has the shield bows in place of 1h where they are weaker but have defence compared to the normal bows eg it's like having a bow and a shield. No 'dual wield' arrow format though - but presumably we could just have 'quick fire' bows that fire twice as fast Don't forget that the melee and mage main hand weapons are to be used for both dual wielding and sword-and-board, so a shieldbow should be released with the new dw ranged weapons (whenever that would be) to keep things consistent. Of course, that would also mean new shields for everyone else.

Any one item bought in Solomon's General Store was probably bought enough times to cover the costs for even the 6 month fine...

Big titles tend to be hit or miss when it comes to how much you get for your money. I get more from $20 invested in torchlight than $60 in Dishonored. The thing that I don't like about gaming in general nowadays is how nothing you buy is physical anymore. Companies like Valve now have the right to erase your entire gaming library if they so please.
