  1. This makes me think of those stones just beside the Gamer's Grotto.
  2. What makes you certain that it is genetic predisposition and not parental conditioning?
  3. And I can spend a couple of seconds examining the old combat system and tell you its major flaws. Let's not open this can of worms in a thread about the KK.
  4. Aren't those the skins Jagex was going to use for normal demons after EOC? I remember making fun of an old EOC update teaser...

Yea, it makes for nice driving when it does snow, the roads are completely empty :D And there's been no snow so far this winter :P Meanwhile, when I'm driving, the road sounds like it cut the cheese, while my car feels like doing the electric slide. Then again, I enjoy that feeling (when I'm on an empty road).
  6. Ashley Morris. New Face of Guess after she was spotted in Vancouver with no prior modelling experience. I can see how she was spotted.
  7. Some people might disagree, but I don't believe that two people should stop hanging out if one truly got friend-zoned. It's only awkward if you make it awkward, and quite honestly, ignorance is awkward. In other news, a Duff has been spotted for the first time in 4 months.

Some neighbour that lives a block away offered to clean my driveway using his tractor. Can't complain.

Don't forget the overstretched German supply line and a winter that was so cold that the Germans had to halt their offensive. Let's face it, the Russians didn't get a full Blitzkrieg, that would've been impossible because of their size :P . On topic, it's still snowing. Not sure if I should be pleased anymore. P.S. I find parties hosted by people younger than me awkward as hell. Then again, they never had live bands.

That was Grade 10 History I was talking about.

It wasn't taught like that at all at my school, at least during my AP US History course. They taught it pretty much how you described it being taught. If anything, the teacher seemed to be on Britain's "side" during that whole unit. Could've been different when we were taught at a younger age, but most all of that level of history teaching is more or less meaningless in the long run. Kind of reminds me of the mandatory Canadian History course you have to take in Ontario. I've heard enough heroic stories coming from the Second Battle of Ypres, Sommes, and Passchendaele from that course. Then when we got to WWII, all we really talked about were The Battle of Britain, Dunkirk, and Canada on D-Day (+ our sweep through Holland). Nothing about Germany's Blitzkrieg Offensive that absolutely demolished the Polish and French (all we really got told was that Germany had a secret pact with Russia regarding Poland), nothing about operation Barbarossa, Stalingrad, or anything related to the Eastern Front, while the only things mentioned in the Pacific Theatre were the conflicts Canada was in (almost none) and what we did at home to Japanese families. It kinds of saddens me that mandatory history was taught like a propaganda tool rather than lessons from the past.

Try me, it's amazing how useful Google Translate is.
  13. That's how the skill page looks like in Portuguese on a Brazilian server. Also, his total level looks fine.
  14. I'm just happy that they acknowledged their mess-ups instead of covering them up.
  15. At least they don't look like aliens.
  16. The fight scenes felt hurried, and the I felt like they tried too hard to make the main characters badass. Those are my only gripes with the cinematic. I felt the same as Langzor when I first heard and seen screenshots of the game, but after hearing some good reviews coming from alpha testers, I'm holding my judgment until I see some actual gameplay.
  17. Might have to do with the fact that it's a lot more common to send out a voyage in the 80+ range. I'm not sure if players usually settle for 60%. Or the fact that 60% fails are underreported as people don't really find it newsworthy when they failed in a mission that could have gone either way.
  18. I wouldn't either, but it doesn't mean that there shouldn't be some awareness on the issue. I personally don't give a rat's ass about how endangered some long-nosed shrew is somewhere in the states, but it's nice to see that people care about even the small things. Same can be said about the display name black market.

Out of curiosity, what's your inspiration for the story?
  20. Player-Owned Maps. That you can alter to your own liking, to do anything. Think of it like the type of thing Minecraft players will flock to Runescape for ;) .
  21. Looking at the flak the team's getting for failing to medal, I think much of Canada disagrees :P .
  22. I bet the NHL being back relieves the sting of Canada losing the bronze medal at Juniors, eh?
  23. Honestly, I don't find it to be that click-intensive when using Momentum, for the same xp rate as pre-EOC.
