World 1 Grand Exchange is a great place to bonfire and cook, seeing that there is always a fire going. I spent nearly three months straight bonfiring or cooking there.

The dual wielding abilties were exclusively members-only, last time I checked, which is why I had to resort to the sword-and-shield rotation. I'll have to check my info next beta, they could have changed it in the latest update.

Can you expand on that? I wasn't aware that shield-2h-DW is supposed to form some sort of triangle. From experience on the beta servers (someone else could verify with some actual quantitative tests), using a two-handed weapon beats dual wielding in all cases, including DPS because two handed can perform a full damage rotation without any downtime because of its exclusive abilties, while dual wielding has to resort to the same rotation as sword-and-shield, which has plenty of gaps for usage of defensive abilities.

The price of the dwarven suit is still not warranted, in my opinion. The point I was trying to make was that Jagex is overpricing something ( an outfit + extras) that is already considered overpriced in other games (such as WoW). Even the Sims 3 sells DLC for "only" $20 dollars, which consists of furniture, clothing, hairstyles etc. all in one pack.

Hey I could buy that, OR I could buy A BRAND NEW GAME WITH 10-100+ HOURS OF GAMEPLAY. Jagex, seriously, be realistic when making these prices. I hate to be the one that mentions WoW around here, but I remember the uproar when Blizzard started selling FLYING MOUNTABLE HORSES MADE OF STARS for real life money. Everyone thought it was overpriced. It costs $25. And it sure as hell looks better than this piece of scrap.

I don't think so. When F2P beta was first released, we had access to all mage spells, including wave and surge spells. After they released a new build, they removed members features, however offhand melee weapons stayed. I wouldn't be surprised if the offhands stay F2P, Jagex loves to give free players teasers like this.

*cough* We haven't had a weekly hot topic in over a month *cough* . Runescape has never been taken seriously, really. Many MMO gamers that I know started with either WoW or Runescape, with the younger ones always opting for RS. It is so accessable it is a stepping to hardcore MMO gaming. This does have a significant drawback: its capabilities are constrained by the technology it can use. Don't kid yourselves, even though the graphics have gotten a lot better, the polygon count much denser, and the animations sharper, rival games have gotten just as good over the same amount of time. The MMO genre is famously weak nowadays when it comes to graphics for such high end games due to the massive amounts of players that have to be on the same server, at the same time. Add the fact that RS is a browser game, and you can see why RS can never be as good graphically as other games. In a gaming age when people seem to want 1080p realistic graphics, a game like RS is downright laughable.
