  1. Not sure if this has already been mentioned, so if it has, forgive me. Basically you have to remember that we have 1 hand on the mouse at all times to eat. Therefore using anyting about Alt-6 is a pain. A more, err, 'constructive' move would be Alt 1-4 for attacking, Shift 1-4 for defensive, and Ctrl 1-4 for countering. (Unless defensive is meant to counter offensive, which would make more sense anyways.)
  2. Wow I can't believe I wrote patches, it must've been later than I thought. Anyways, what about making scrolls?
  3. Who knows, maybe they added something else to all the other bosses, guess we'll have to wait another week (tops) to find a "Omg K'ril now drops Dragon Claws!!" post. Until that happens, all I can say is that those bones are incredibly overpriced, so it was probably a way to influence the economy to make them both sellable and an actual way to train prayer.
  4. Hmmm I support, but I also agree that it should be more of a garden. The grove idea sounds nice. I'll list some possible hotsposts and levels, but not the supplies. Herblaw Grove: Level 70 Construction HotSpot1 (center) Summoning Obelisk: level 70 (with 50 summoning) Basic Summoning obelisk: Only recharges points level 75 (with 50 summoning) Greater Summoning obelisk: Only recharges points (larger and more brilliant that last) level 85 (with 70 summoning) Superb Summoning obelisk: Recharges points and allows ability to make patches HotSpot2 (edge) Fencing: Same as formal garden HotSpot2 (inner edge) Hedging: Same as formal garden HotSpot3 (inner-er edge) Stream: (Each stream out act like a water fountain would, at the corners a small spout would allow water to come into the stream) 70,80,85 allow for different sized streams and I'm not sure how the actual herblore cabinet would fit, perhaps a rock structure? a wooden structure? I'll let your own creativeness think of that.
  5. It's dragon plateskirt, the average Joe can't afford those mighty platelegs while saving up for that awe-inspiring Godsword now can he? But anyways, I would differ in, well, a lot of ways. I got all my 99s because I enjoy the skill. I got my quest cape first, and I had my sights on completing all quests before the cape was even released. I also like defense quite a bit more, just to be different.
  6. My assumption was that they were always wearing the armor, then it somehow got degraded. Perhaps through the 'torture' part?
  7. Trolls definitely need their NPC head fixed.
  8. You see, that's why I made it, so that people could have both a helmet/hat/whatever and the aura. As for the slot, I'm already planning another suggestion as to evil horns and such, it was not made for only one item. My next suggestion goes hand in hand with this one, I might even add it in right here, instead of making another thread. Well, you have to remember, even the least customizable slots (Boots, gloves, rings, amulets, etc.) Still have well over twenty items that can be placed in them. A new slot is really hard to accomplish well and have it not be too overpowered.
  9. A useful development diary, it's a start!
  10. I like it, except the aura has to go in the helmet slot. There is no use to having a slot made purely for ONE item.
  11. I love your idea for the special bar, it's pretty simple yet effective. I can't decide my opinion about the charm space, however, because it would drastically change the effects of summoning on a player. And what do you mean that summoning familiars can barely be used? I find I can use a tortoise / bunyip / terrorbird on every slayer task I'm assigned.
  12. What did I mean? Well, to name an example... (If it changed I didn't catch it- I'm leaving shortly) The 'Parry' attack, I believe it's called, for the Longsword (?) has you to not attack and take no damage for 10 seconds, then deal 150% of the damage taken towards your opponent. Even with a warning, this has such an ability to KO almost anybody, even to a larger extend than the Armadyl Godsword or Dragon Claws. Think, even if the person only attacked for three hits, mostly likely you'll deal at least 30 damage. Now imagine if they're using a faster weapon, like a dragon dagger (or even worse, the special attack), against you? If that is one of the special attacks (I do hope it is), having it deal an amount equal to your defense level (in percent, aka 90 defense = 90%) would give defense a nice boost as well as adding a tad more balance. (I would say works with potions, but that's iffy)
  13. I can't say I support because it would severely kill the raw material market due to the vast flow of supplies coming from these low-competition areas.
  14. I love the way the specials work, but I think they're a tad overpowered. And for your mining requirements, I think you made an error. You need Divinite to get the level boost, but you need the level boost to mine it...
  15. Ugh I keep forgetting, how do you use the hide method in BBC code? Is it like: [hide=]stuff[/hide] ?
  16. This could go along with an update to the throne room, allows you to put the banners of the monsters you've defeated on the sides of the room, going up to the throne. Complete support.
  17. Woohoo! More elf theories!
  18. Everything is a bit overrated and the armor (ecto-chain mail or something like that, the one that has bonuses similar to rune) actually isn't that good in situations that I believe you want it to be. If when you're getting hit with 0s it lowers your defense, that means that you have a higher chance of getting crushed in the next turns... The point of armor is to choose what kind of defense you want and stick with it, not have it decide after the damage is done.
  19. I like animation :D . Support.
  20. Train all skills to about 40+ the profitable way assuming later you'll be able to memberize.
  21. Ooo I like it. Even though I already pick up all my coin drops.
  22. Not sure if this is a question or a suggestion, so I placed it here just to be safe. When MechScape is released, will our screen names be held like FunOrb?
  23. LJ makes a valid point. Should the herblore cape provide free limpwurt roots? Should the magic cape allow your runes to return for you? If it was up to me I would suggest ALL capes have some sort of 'bonus' besides the +1 in a skill.
