  1. 3-4 Years...I played the day after the F2P version of classic was removed (August 4, 2005)? #-o
  2. Selling 5K Air runes, fire runes and mind runes that someone gave to me for free (pre- trade limit) for 150K when back then they worth a bit more than 300 >_< Falling for a trap in the wilderness set up by my "friend" (we were supposed ot be PKing buddied) and he BS'ed my first set of full rune (this was old wilderness too) >.>
  3. You stop learning at level 8. Those are the ones in Varrock. He's talking about the Dummies in Lumbridge.
  4. Has anyone noticed how your equipment screen, that shows your stats, flipped around? The stats are now on the left and the equipment is shown on the right. :P
  5. Will he still deliver them daily even if you're logged out for a long period of time?
  6. Sad that you don't know what you're talking about.
  7. That helped a lot.. Thanks! ^_^ #Edit: How is 60 magic helpful, though? Would it help protect against mages my level using attacks like Fire Blast? =p I guess so Thanks for your help. By the way, a good formula that could help in finding how much HP you'd gain from training levels: HP experience=((exp/4)*1.3)+1154 exp being the number of exp needed to get from your level (assuming it's 1, since it's easier to calculate from level 1) divided by 4, since (exp/4)=damage, and HPexp=d*1.3, where d=damage. So ((exp/4)*1.3) calculates the HPexp you'd gain from training that level, and (+1154) is the total XP in HP after training the levels you want. 1154 is the HP exp from HP level 10, assuming you're training to your level from 10hp and any level 1 stat. Example, let's say I took your advice and wanted 70 range, 65 strength, 40 attack and 60 mage. 70 range=737600xp 65 Strength=449400xp 60 Mage=273700xp 40 Attack=37200 Hp experience=((737600+449400+273700+37200)/4) or 374,475. HPexp=(374,475*1.3)+1154 HPexp=(486817)+1154 HPexp=487971 or 65 HP. =p I just wanted to show to anyone else wanting to know how much hp they'd gain from training a certain stat, since some don't know how calc. xp. =p Good formula in-case anyone wants to figure out how many HP levels they'd get from training more than 1 CB skill, in particular.
  8. Hi! I have an account named I Hail Me I, range/2h hybrid in the making, F2p status and it'll stay that way. These are my goal stats for it: 40 Attack 40 Strength 60 Ranged 48 hitpoints Not mentioned: 1 def (since I'll be pure/hybrid) 1 mage (same reason) 1 pray (don't know about this one) 41 combat with the 4 stats above. I used tip.it's max hit calculator for melee, I found out I can hit 13 with a rune 2h at 40 strength with a strength potion. I'll be hitting rapid 10-11s with addy arrows at 60 range. Are these good stats for a range/2h hybrid/ko'er? And should I get my prayer up (hopefully it won't raise my combat if I can ^_^) Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi there. I'm starting a new Range/2h hybrid named I Hail Me I. My goal stats for the hybrid are as follows: Attack:20 Strength:40 Ranged:55 I used http://www.runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Experience and used its Experience table to determine how much HP I'd gain from 10HP by training these stats to my goal, and I got 49. So basically I'd get 59HP for 40, 20 & 55. Hit-points:59 I used RuneHQ's calculator for combat and I put these stats in, I got a combat level of 41. Combat Level: 41 Are these good stats to PK with? My friend tells me he has 55 range and can "rapid" 10s with addy arrows, that's what I'd like to hit.
  10. Actually, you can string faster than you cut, so stringing them is better experience, and better profits. so should i buy logs, and cut them, then string them, or should i buy logs allready cut, and just string them?? Miss Buy logs already cut ;)
  11. Edit: Accidentally quoted when meant to edit. Sorry.
  12. I'd like to know roughly how much money I can make an hour with my wood-cutting at level 63. I can't use fishing anymore because Lobs are going down, swordfish takes too long for me to fish, and I'm F2P so I can't use pure essence and make over 100k/hour. Skills: Mining: 57 Fishing: 70 Wood-cutting: 63 I know I can make a little over 40k/hour with rune essence because my range/2h hybrid account can make 20k/hour, his pickaxe mines 1 rune essence per 4 seconds, my melee account can mine 1 per 2 seconds...basically I think that is 40k, no? Problem is you see, a lot of people say WC is a good money maker (higher money per hour than rune ess mining), and people with the same WC level as me can make 60k/hr (quite a bit for me) but I can't seem to achieve the same results. Advice?
  13. I don't know if this is my first account actually. I don't remember. I probably made an account in RSC and looked at it and said "OMG...this game has bad graphics!" *quits* and came back when Rs2 was released "Good graphics!" *joins* =p
  14. On that note, I only use protect pray at 1/3hp or so, I don't know if that makes me a noob but if I'm wrong, I don't wanna be right.
  15. Don't most Rune Miners use the one near the Dark Beasts still? *cough* F2P ... EDIT: Ahem there was a time we mined with the threat of being killed -.-... Yep, so rune mining would be more profitable as there will be less competition. Yep, more profitable if you don't get killed 'cause the PK'ers will be looking for you there...oh where's that evil smilie? I don't see it. I was gonna use it. :( :P
  16. I'd assume it recharges along with your other stats like HP and Prayer, but I'm only saying this as I don't know exactly as I'm f2p. :P I agree on your point about making it more like the free-for-all areas, I think Jagex can make changes to that.
  17. Clan Wars, as we all know is a good/great update in itself, and the updates that came to it were even better. But with the latter updates comes a flaw we'll all come to realize. You see, this is similar to that situation with the Duel Arena where you selected no movement, no ranged, and no arrows in the rules, both accepted and then the game would be fooled and the two players would stand there in a theoretical never ending battle. Thankfully, that has been fixed. Well, it's like that, Clan wars version. Most people I know, and myself, don't bother really reading the Overview before a Fight or what options were selected, they just accept. Well, earlier today I went in a clan and joined the fight (Non-Knockout, anyone could join in at anytime) and I saw before I joined the option that was selected under kills was "Most kills at the end". Now you see, this is where the flaw comes into play, with these two options enabled. My team of 3 people and I (89, 97, 90,90) were fighting two level 60 players in full rune. When one of them was getting to low health, he would exit through the Escape portal and come back in the fight unrestricted, and fully healed, and attack one of us while we were in the middle of clobbering the other person. When that person was reaching low health, he exited the portal and came back in healed, making it very hard for us to finish the fight even with 4 lvl 90s against 2 60s. One of my team said "I got 17K strength exp from this lol". So you see, they kept doing this to prolong their health, and ultimately, the fight. I see there are only two ways to prevent/finish this kind of scenario: 1) In-game, when you're in the fight, you have to kill the two/three/what have you opponents on the other side simultaneously/near simultaneously, because if you don't, the other opponent in question will have enough time to come back in unrestricted, full hp, and prolong the fight (which can potentially take HOURS to finish.) 2) Remove the "Knock Out" option so you don't run-in fully healed, OR Jagex can make it so when you exit and come back in you're in the position you were when you left the fight. I choose the latter idea. So you see this is Clan Wars major flaw. If you don't read the overview of the fight and these two options are enabled you are in for ONE HELL of a fight. Just a warning. Oh and if you're wondering, my team won, but it was really hard to get them both down at the same time >_< Our team won 77-29 (77 kills for us, 29 for them, because the other team had more people earlier but they gave up.) So, your opinions/thoughts?
  18. Altars and mini-game locations could be possible safe spots. Wouldn't be annoying if you didn't have to protect from melee and you're fighting someone with 43+ prayer in an altar, they turn around and recharge their prayer? -.-
  19. Try changing Toggle Mouse options? Go to that toolbar thing in the icon next to the Clan Chat and try changing it to 1 Mouse Button or 2 depending on hwat mouse button you have on right now. I had something like that happen to me and I so frustrated #-o
  20. Similar thing happened to me. An IRL friend breached my account and got my Defense up by 2 levels. o_O
  21. I went on a Bounty Hunter world and went to the Grand Exchange to stock up on some items before heading to Bounty Hunter. I was in the Forsakenmage chat a few days earlier and heard that someone else had a BH skull over their head themselves, and the person said she would report it to Jagex. If you want to see the glitch I saw myself, the picture is below: The skull is above the person in the camo suit, encased in a red circle. I'm thinking, how did this come about? I'm thinking of reporting it to Jagex as well, maybe they have some reports already besides the one from the girl in the Forsakenmage chat. Your thoughts?
  22. Have you tried lvl 2 of the Stronghold of Security? When you enter go straight up a bit, you see a door, go left to the room where some more zombies are (lvl 44).
  23. Actually the new chat is Forsakenmage, not Pope Skills. Whatever, I don't use lightning. Yeah, because Lightning's chat is disabled. :-/
  24. Actually the new chat is Forsakenmage, not Pope Skills.
  25. Lightning quit, she made a thread on the forums I think. Anyway she disabled her channel since then and the new channel is now Forsakenmage.
