Well, you can always show it in the trade window to prove it was yours since you cannot trade borrowed items. With time the whole "can I borrow...." thing will ease off. It's a new feature, so people want to try it out. And you really shouldn't care too much about the market or who has what in a game. It's really not a big deal.

People are just going to have to think again for the first time in 6 months. At least you can only be out of a max of 30k and not more. The lending system was meant to soften the blow of the removal of free trade to friends who shared equipment not give a chance for the poor to look rich. You would really have to be stupid to fall of this kind of scamming. It's not even clever, it's just sad. At least a good portion of scammers before were halfway intelligent and had some sneaky tricks up their sleeves.

You guys can get in SERIOUS trouble for some of the stuff you are claiming to do. Some of the things being said are felonies. I seriously hope that more than a few of you are caught. Why are you being punished for a sleeping disorder? That's completely irrational. Anyway talking to your doctor is a good idea. And you might get away with pretending to be getting sleep, but you will probably be caught eventually and given your father's ridiculous response to your insomnia, the result probably won't be good. If I were you I would move in with your mom, if you like it there. You don't deserve to be punished for something that you cannot control.

I discovered Santa wasn't real at about the same time when I recognized my dad's handwriting on a present. I tried to tell people, even my older brother...*cough*..., but no one would believe me. I thought drinking and driving was drinking anything, not just liquor, while driving. So I always thought my dad was breaking the law when he was drinking a Coke while driving.
