Why would you even trust these people? There are loads of options to pay for membership under the RuneScape main site. To be honest that was a dumb as hell move.

How Long Will It Take the Black Mask?
Tom_Servo replied to MrMustachio's topic in General Discussion
I'm glad I bought the black mask for my slayer helm at 470k :) -

A terrorbird I made with the Spore Creature Creator demo. I think it's pretty close considering with the demo you only get about 1/30 of the features. -
I uninstalled the older version. That allowed me to install the new one, but the calculators still don't work right.

Spread FireFox Download Day 2008! Opinions? Likes?
Tom_Servo replied to Latinoking's topic in Off-Topic
I just downloaded and installed Firefox 3. And then immediately uninstalled it. It's slow, clunky, cluttered, and takes up more memory and file space than it needs. I'm just going to skick with Safari. -
What update? I checked on the apple site and all I can find is v3.1.1 which is what I've had for a few weeks. At any rate it doesn't fix the calculator problem if you haven't downloaded it yet.

I saw a commercial for Wendy's new "hand-spun" frosties. The person in the commercial was just using a milkshake stirrer/maker thing. My idea of hand-spun is a person with a spoon stirring. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter.

All skill capes are pretty much the same. All they require is time. Some just take more time than others.

New update agaisnt people with less rl money
Tom_Servo replied to 999134's topic in General Discussion
From the looks of the screenshots, It seems that everything is more zoomed in rather than having a larger field of view. The graphics update just makes things prettier, it doesn't give an advantage to people. It's like low detail vs. high detail, except now it's like high detail vs. super high detail. Both are the same game, it's just that they look different. -
One day a while back I was bored so I made a female character and went searching of a boyfriend which took about 3 seconds.... Anywho, I was messing with this guy and just going with the flow for a few minutes. He had some pretty cheesy lines, and I just went with it and acted like I liked him. Then I went and changed my character to a guy and went back to where he was. He asked why I changed into a guy if I was a girl and I casually said "But I am a guy..." He immediately logged and I got a good laugh.

Guide to RuneScape's new Graphics - Do YOU meet the Req's?

I'm worried about my 1.46 GHz Intel Celeron M :? -
That would be my guess as well. People use the world map all the time, but in full screen (from what we can tell from the picture) there is no bar at the top with the links to the world map and such. That button might just initiate the pop up map. Never know though.

I used to put my NB shoes with the [bleep]es from Nike, they lasted like 5 races before they broke off, but man was it 'gripping'. =P Then I found these babies: [hide=Image][/hide] Love them. New Balance 505. I used to wear an older version of these for the mile: [hide=]Nike Zoom Eldoret II Men's Track and Field [/hide] They were great up until I accidentally stepped on the concrete drain and broke the [bleep]e well and cracked the plate. Can't find a picture of my current [bleep]es. They are kind of like these, but have [bleep]es instead of waffle:[hide=][/hide]

I run quite a bit. I'm not going to get too detailed, but this is what I do nearly everyday. First I do a mile warm up, just a light, easy jog. Then I do a bunch of Plyometrics and stretch out GOOD. Stretching prevents injury and mussel fatigue and makes running a lot easier. My stretching routine usually takes around 15 minutes and includes 30 push-ups and 35 crunches. Crunches are important because they strengthen your abdominal region which is used a surprising amount while running. Then I run anywhere from 4-12 miles(hard, not lolly-gagging around and non stop) in the summer/fall during cross country season or various sets of intervals (example: 2x600's, 3x400's, 4x300's, and 5x200's.) to 7 miles in the winter/spring during track. After that 4x100, OR 4x150, OR 4x200 stride throughs/build ups OR 4 long, steep hills. Or a 2-5 mile cool down in the winter/spring after intervals. Then I stretch again, do 6 chin ups and 6 dips and I'm done. Oh and I ALWAYS run in the afternoon while the day is at it's hottest in the summer ( usually around 90-101 degrees out) and NEVER stop for water unless I'm about to pass out. This strengthens endurance and forces your body to use water more efficiently making you less susceptible to dehydration. But of course I drink plenty of water during the day. And if it's raining outside, you bet I'm out there running in it because it's just plain fun. During the winter it doesn't really matter when I run. It's either freakin' cold or it's not. ( gets anywhere from 10-45 degrees). I also enjoy running in the snow and sleet. Sometimes with no shirt on (don't get excited I AM a guy). Why? Because when I'm at a track meet I don't have the luxury of wearing my warm under-armor, hoody, gloves and hat and while my competitors are unprepared for just how cold it is, I'll be ready because I've done it all before. And if anyone wants to know, I run varsity (class 6A). Going to try and all-state (top 10 at state) this year in cross country. My average mile split for a 5k is around 5:10 And I usually play Runescape when I'm resting up because I find it relaxing. And just a tip: Never stop and walk when you go for a run. When you start running again, you will feel even worse than before. Push yourself and break through the pain. Oh... looks like I did get too detailed. Oh well. Oh and one last thing. Nike makes TERRIBLE running shoes but excellent [bleep]es. Go figure.

That pretty much sums it up right there.

No, RuneScape is not a democracy, nor is it some institute that has to uphold freedom of speech. It's not even American. That means that it's a privilege, and it can be revoked at any time if you break their rules. In addition to that, Runescape and everything in it including your character is Jagex's property. THEY have the right to to whatever they will with it. It's their legal right. Even if you did nothing wrong, they can just mute/ban you just for the fun of it and you can't do anything about it. You earn the privilege to talk in Runescape by not breaking the rules. You break them, that's it. No more talky for you.

The German worlds seem complete to me. What's wrong with them?
-
Couldn't have said it better myself. And to the author: Quit dragging your feet and quit, the wilderness is never coming back. And PLEASE stop complaining on TIF. If you want to do that, go to the RSOF. Get out of here.

I do the same thing

You gotta be kidding me right? I'm going to have to agree with him. We can actually play the game without every spot being crowded with bots/goldfarmers. Also the community is -somewhat- more refined, as it was thinned out of the stereotypical obnoxious pure/pker. In addition to that, scamming was completely eliminated, even though the trade limit is kind of annoying. I'm finding the game more enjoyable even with less freedom because I don't have to fight with bots to play and never have to worry about being cheated out of my stuff.

I'd guess I'd be both. I bought a lot of supplies for 99 firemaking, but I also cut some too. But for the majority of my skills, I am completely self-sufficient. I mine my own ore, I fish my own fish, cook my own food, and make or get most of my own runes from monsters.

It's like having a driver's license. Driving is a privilege, not a right. Do something wrong, and you get your license revoked. Same goes for speaking in Runescape.
