  1. :D Missed the level pick cause this steel dragon was being a meanie.
  2. For a serious slayer the SGS is no longer a necessity. If you are committed to slayer you are probably going to be using turmoil/piety on all tasks and therefore should have access to soul split. Yes you could use the SGS to help get more prayer but really its not necessary any more. Although if you have lower levels or are just doing casual slaying it still rocks.
  3. I'm pretty sure it still wouldn't be faster then current methods. I mean you can only take 58 bones to barralack at a time with a Yak. So with all that time spent banking... It is true that Gert is already over 1/4 of the way to maxing completely. Personally I think Zarfot has a better chance at maxing, he seems to have a more determined get the job done attitude. I still can't see it happening for at least another 3 years though :P
  4. Crashing is sort of like an art, there are some people that are good at it and some that just enjoy it. It is mostly frowned upon by the majority of players, but once you get to that sort of "elite" level of boss hunting it just adds a new dimension to the hunt. Personally I believe that crashing a team that is under 130 combat is just plain wrong, anyone above that and its fair game. I kind of enjoy getting crashed as 99 times out of 100 me and my team will keep our world and the crashers will have had to hop. There is a line with crashing and its hard for a lot of people to see it.
  5. Wow top 50 Smithing, grats :)
  6. Grats :) Planning to get 99 over summer? (slayer)
  7. Nice work :) Might wanna change that thing in your sub heading from hike to like, unless you actually mean hike in which case O.O
  8. Made the first post more pretty for you readers <3 And what are you on about Dave? :o But Zam sounds good
  9. I found that teleing was a bit better, it made it more afkable and gave me a tad more exp per hour. That was a few years ago though, so it may have changed now.
  10. It shouldn't cost to much to get 4 levels on them, and it could be done in under 2 hours for sure, so maybe look into them.
  11. Usually about 10-20 seconds
  12. Nearly 200 total levels to get, that could take a while :o Still have fun with it, 2000 total is pretty nice :)
  13. Not your average goal, and thats what I like about it. I'm quite surprised at the amount of decent items you got from those 50 clues. If I killed anything that dropped level 2 clues I would actually do them from now on :P I'll definitely keep watching this blog. How many of the next 50 have you done so far?
  14. Thanks Ice :) Getting cash shouldn't be to much of a problem I don't think :P
  15. Nice :) Whats your favourite thing to do Personally mines a tic tac into an arm jump, especially over water if I can find a spot like that :P
  16. Thats complete rubbish. I know from first hand experience that you can easily smash out up to 100 kills in a melee duo, yes it may require higher stats and gear then that of the average player, but it is very doable.
  17. Mmm I reckon you could get away with posting that on the rants forum and it wouldn't get moved ;)
  18. Not really. It is being merched in the same way dragon bones are. Yes there are some merchanters that are using in in things like rare trades, but for the most part it is just in incredibly high demand like dragon bones, although obviously there isn't as much torstol as d bones in the game. So no it isn't being merchanted, in the traditional way at least.
  19. As far as everything that has been said allow me to add my thoughts. Soloing TD's will almost always provide a better income then solo Bandos, however as I know how boring TD's can get soloing something else can be good as a break. My suggestion is that you do get 96 summoning at least, as a yak actually helps out quite a bit at TD's, I know it raised my kills per trip by around 12. Turmoil can also be used at TD's especially if you combine it with a whip, meaning that you can very easily be hitting 45-50 consistently each prayer swap of the demon. Summing up it is worth getting turmoil and a yak if you see yourself monster hunting in the future. If you are really not sure and you want to keep merchanting get the yak for now and wait to get the prayer later on.
  20. It is worth using another helm other then Veracs so that you protect your skirt until you get more confident. I would suggest a niet as they have decent bonuses and won't protect over much. From what I know of steel titans at Arma, have it attacking Kree when you are, and then you have a choice when it comes to the minions. Either be attacking the mage minion and have it attack the melee one, or pile one after the other so that you kill each one faster.
  21. Well maybe have a look at some of the herbs that are used in extreme potions and then calc the relative cost compared to their seed. I have seen seeds that cost less then one grimy herb of that type. So assuming your getting 5-6 herbs per patch on average thats a 500-600+% profit per seed. Sure it might not be as high a profit margin as snapdragons or whatever, but in mathematical costs its kind of better, especially as the seeds are cheaper and if they die you don't lose the 80k.
