Not sure if its permanent so I won't say I'm back for good, but I'm back for now. All of the stuff that stopped me playing at the start of the year has been sorted out, so now I can get back into RS. School starts again soon, not sure if that means no play time, but I'll try to make room :) For now, slayer it is.. Until I get bored :D

I cleaned herbs from 70-80 so I dont want to clean anymore lol. I also got 30m to spend on it recently so I want to get it quickly. I was averaging 10k herbs/ hr =P Bow down to you to then :P 30m, and your only doing 5 levels? Range pots 80-84, spec res 84-85. Get it done in around 90-100 minutes I reckon. Should also blow the majority of that cash :D

It would appear that some drop them more often then others. Hell hounds would be one example. A tip if your trying to get lots of clues, do slayer. You should generally get one every 2-3 tasks, sometimes even one a task.

As I haven't played in a while I can't comment on exp/gp ratios. However as far as time goes I would highly recommend making special recoveries at 84. If you are going to just 85 for the time being thats only one level of them which shouldn't cost you to much anyway. Depending on your patience levels making your own super energies for the spec res would be a good idea, even if you only made the amount that was needed for the spec res. Making super defence potions worked pretty well for me up to 84. They may be worth under 1k each but I'm pretty sure they do still sell, maybe look into those to.

As you probably already know well Verac's is probably your best bet. If you are going to be soloing the set up I would recommend would be this. Helm: Veracs > Slayer Neck: Fury > God stole Chest: Veracs brassard > Bandos chest Weapon: Veracs Flail / Dragon Claws or a Godsword for special > Any godsword Shield: None Gloves: Barrows (duh) Ring: Onyx (i) > Berserker > Wealth Legs: Veracs plateskirt > Bandos tassets Boots: Dragon / Bandos Cape: Fire cape / Soul Wars cape > Skill cape (t) If your going to be soloing you'll obviously use more prayer, thats why I have added some prayer boosting things. Many people do like to use Bandos and a godsword if you have Kalphites as a slayer task, but from personal experience I would recommend that you use Veracs and just take a good special weapon (D claws AGS etc.) Oh and I can't confirm it but I heard that the chain drop rate was between 75-125 kills, not sure if thats fiction though. Regardless of the skill 200m is an amazing achievement, congratulations ^^

As long as your not tanking go the godsword, its more efficient then the whip for Sara, Bandos and Zammy, unless your tanking or going solo.

Do the Smithing. It sounds as if thats what your most passionate about so I would say go with that. As I did it a few months back I would strongly advise against milking your bank for Herb or anything for that matter, its always best to keep a stable bank. Don't bother with D Claws for slayer unless your really serious about it e.g Ex pots, Turmoil all tasks. Thats my input, hope it helps.

As far as godswords go, the SGS is the only one I would say its worth selling your bandos for. But from past experience its probably better to keep the Bandos for now. Its more useful for slayer and you claws would be a fine alternative as far as special weapons go. For waterfiends it helps, but you might as well just stick to an SS or ZS

The most annoying to me is the Mime random because it takes soooooooooooooooooo long. My favourite would be the Molly one, I mean who doesn't like picking people up with a giant claw?

I play in HD because I'm usually killing something, and I like to get the most out of what the game designers put in.

Heh I don't pick them up either, but I am sure it would have made a difference if I had. Just thinking back on all that slayer coinage :shock:

I have never seriously quit or attempted to, I don't think I have ever been in that position. But I know I have taken a few long (4-6 month) breaks. I come back because sporting seasons end or something else dries up and I need a way to kill my free time.

Defence was my first. I got it because at the time it was my favourite melee skill. Also no one else in my clan had it apart from the guy that was already level 126, as one of the lower levels in my small clan I wanted to achieve something different.

Put me down under mining, maybe if I was level 80 or higher my view would be different, but at 69 I hate it :D

I miss so many things, World 2 fally park, World 9 and 18 Seers bank, the actual Hit points skill and of course the days before the trade limit, when you could actually help a friend out.

I still do them but I know I don't enjoy them as much as I used to. The fact that they have been made into quests now kind of kills the spirit for me. Sure completing given tasks is a quest, but I liked it better when it was unofficial.

For me it would be 2.2m Herb exp, and that was before the bonus exp weekend. I was just really in a skilling mood. Over 3 days I got a lot of exp, the first 1m Herb exp, the second 1.1m and the third 2.2m.
