It's like 4:10 AM over there... Sheesh.
  2. I agree with your last statement. Their "research" has been going on since 1985. PM Rudd even threatened to take "international legal action" if, they kept whaling within the Antaractic Australian territory.
  3. When I dont have WSJ subscriptions ... Fuuuuck, why cant I read like a 3 month old article ? Is it such a big deal ? Is it ? Facists.
  4. Big and chaotic ? Verdi's Dies Irae Requiem Mussorgsky's - Night on a Bare Mountain Wagner is good, but you've probably heard him already... Rimsky-Korsakov, a few of his compositions such as Dance of the Tumblers, Copland is also a good composer for big and chaotic. Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.4 is goodo, all the movements are excellent. You should definitley check out Lateralus' suggestion of Mahler. Good choice.

Anyone hot for the WSJ subscription ? Anyone ? ...
  6. [bleep] ! I knew I was missing quite a few. I was only thinking of Sydney and surrounding area. Though Shazarabbit was the outlier...
  7. Or you could try somebody else. I let you guys down... :(
  8. Please do !!! And, I think there are max 5 Australians on Tip.It. [DarkAura, LFM, Mageman, Shazzarabbit, and myself.] NZ - Doomy, Wongtong, Dreamtongirl, Daxter?, Ouchy_S, yourself- JeffWilson [ a few others perhaps ? On RS boards ? ]
  9. I would say something about sheep, but we would lose again. Or would we ? Aaaand you already know what it's going to be. Plus, we school you in cricket. [i dont usually go for Australia, but in this case, I will] I was couning the number of kiwis that have appeared in videos here. I think there's a lot more Australians on TIF than New Zealanders, so you guys are very much under-represented. Let's not turn this into a war of things of who schools whom in whatever (cos we school at rugby and not having bushfires :P ). :notalk: Not having bushfires ... low, even for a New Zealander's standard [OR should I say NEW ZULLENDER]. [Heads up: I have nothing against NZ's, infact I love all you guys and gals, just that this is by far the most interesting thing on page 1.] Well, we own you guys in not having [mageman and darkaura and possibly shazarabbit, cue] sheep. HAHA !
  10. This thread [if remained unlocked] would be interesting to see how a thread hated by most, loved by few, evolves. Just to see what type of posts crop up.
  11. Cool, thanks ! Animations ? Oh, I'd just be um, "getting them from others". Just like gifs. No more than 10 seconds long. Think of like, Maddox's site, but for a different purpose. More headings, better organized. Etc.. I dont exactly want it to look like a gigantic word document floating on the internets, if you know what I mean. it should have some form of cohesion and presentability. EDIT: Kindof like this http://www.purplemath.com/
  12. It's been a dismal summer here. [bleep]ing dismal infact. Consistently for the last few years, I had to violently pour the nearest liquid down my shorts to prevent horrible bodily malfunction. Not like a Australian summer at all. I dont think even a single day has gone above 30 C, mabe 35 C. And it's been grey too. Overcast, cloudy, windy, etcetera. Not fun.
  13. Seeing as TIF has a large number of very tech-savvy people [web designers, other stuff, I dont know, that's why I'm asking. "Coders" - yeah go ahead, laugh.] I thought I'd post here. I'm wanting to make a website for x reasons, which would contain y. A fairly simple website. Mostly text with a few diagrams, simple animations, perhaps a messageboard. It doesn't require an overly professional layout or anything, clean and minimalist. What would I need to learn, and how would I go about it. All your help is appreciated. And I'm not too sure about "hosting", creating/buying a domain name, and whatnot, so yeah... fill me in ? Again, thanks.

Anyone here havea WSJ subscription and is willing to help me out ??? PM me, please. That would be awesome ! I have also determined that Associated Content is the spawn of Satan.

  16. Thanks for that How2PK. I know of the Orb, even heard some from their 3rd album [their best one in my opinion], but I will definitley look them up again.
  17. I chuckled. Perhaps for a few moments too long, too much to make it harmless, too little to make it malicious. Kudos. I hate looking at all manner of family photos. Detest it. Infact, the 4 family photos on my desk are either facing the wall or eating desk.
  18. I concur. My propsal, another one by either l0rd or WontongandDreamtongirl Co. Pty. Ltd. For the laughs. I nominate you... C'mon, you even said you were going to make one...of you eating a banana? Dooo it! Yeah, but I need to get, uh, supplies, and free time. Time all to myself. Uninvaded by family members.
  19. Will have to agree with you there. Everyone has heard the sickly sweet compositions of Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss, Tchaikovsky. Even if they can't put the name to the sound, you've definitley heard it. And the classical romatic era early 1700s to mid 1800s, just bland. Dont enjoy the waltzes, marches, or the overly formal music. Good list there, I'd add Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Saens Prokofiev Shostakovich Mussorgsky Karajan is within my top conductors, but he does the stuff I dont really like too much ...

29.75 kilograms is equal to 291N in mass, and that would hit your head with a force of mass*acceleration of 291*9.81 = 2854N. Which would probably kill you yes :P 291N is weight, not mass. You just multiplied force by acceleration. Wait. Yeah, you're right. I kinda messed up with the english terms  I wish they would fall... it would be so convenient. It's a highly depressing thought actually.
  23. Flying through a cloud, poor visibility and crash into a mountain? The cloud caused it...Okay im done posting on this thread just needed to say that. That made no [bleep]ing sense.
  24. Do you like classical music ? How can you define "classical" ? Does anyone at all even listen to classical ? If so, what composers do you like. What are your favourite pieces, what dont you like. Etcetera.
  25. Yeah, we had this thread a while back. Was interesting. Just shoot everything really really really [bleep]ing fast, and it'll kill you.
