I've recently had a new interest in reading, paticularly popular science and science fiction. I loved it before, but fell out over time. And now, after a trip to the library I'm starting to rediscover it. Right now I'm focusing on authors that I know well and have read previously. Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov are my current favourites. Concerning science fiction, and Asimov in particular I've only read I,Robot The Caves of Steel and a few of his short story collections. So I'm starting to read some more. If you guys have any good suggestions please tell me !
  2. y u so cool Oooh internet tough guy. I don't like where this is going... [Now, to get the order of the smileys correct.] :?
  3. Hop up out the bed, TURN MAH SWAG ON! I'm making money - OOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhh [bleep] you soulja boy. Yes, more and more these days muscians are becoming business people. Just look at Rihanna and the revlon ad for umbrella. There are far too many sell outs to list. Or, you can watch the gruen transfer. Trapical, can you please post your original post, in the first post ? Maybe using hide tags, so as to not "offend" ? I only came here after it was edited out. Or, if more convenient, you could PM me. Thanks.
  4. Cool, I'll be reading. Always interesting to see someone else's life, as told by them. I only like a few Marilyn Manson songs though :|
  5. Recently I've taken on a [potentially nasty] habit of listening to Doris Day and to a lesser extent, the BeeGees. :?

Lol video game books. There are even ones for Halo.
  7. Didn't that guy Jesse Martin do it first ?
  8. Ok, on the topic of gaming, I'm a Kirby fanatic. I'll pretty much destroy anyone on Smash when I'm playing Kirby. And also I love the whole Kirby series in itself. Crystal Shards was genius. Nintendo does good on keeping things consistent.
  9. Stick your finger in your throat to induce vomiting(assuming choking is throat not windpipe I forget) I have a tiny esophagus and have had to clear my throat a few times like that. There is a more effective way. [Of which, how I found out -- won't go into the details] Anyway, take your index finger and place in center of your tongue. Perform a rubbing motion up and down. It'll get you to gag and vomit in no time. The uvula. The human body's emergency escape.
  10. INDEX !!!
  11. Yeah, I did it untill I was about 14. One of the best times I've ever had. To all those people who just go "lol" boy scouts, have you ever tried or done anything like it ? It was quite fun. Anyway, I'm not quite sure if the Australian system is similar to the American one but I did it for about 5 years if that's any indication. Do you guys have Jamborees ? We went on 2 day camps every 3 months and long hikes every 6 months. Most fun. There is just something different about being within a tight group and also, being independent. But within the main group it was never about the "ideals" just about going outdoors doing random [cabbage].
  12. I collect stamps and coins also bank notes, kind of boring but I enjoy it. It's actually quite a large collection. I even have a few notes with Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler on them.

 Right now I'm reading a few books by Michio Kaku on String Theory. He really does explain it very well, even if it may be completely unfounded.
  14. When butter doesn't spread properly. Or when people put butter in the frigde and I'm like scccrrrrrape. And then it takes me 10 minutes to make my toast. Or also when people buy blocks of butter, like cooking butter wrapped in the paper, rather the ones in the tub and it's difficult to spread ! Happened to me this morning.
  15. I think using this smiley would have made more sense
  16. Actually, it's not your language at all.
  17. WTF is this :wall: I think what Adrenal meant was that you can look cool without permanently damaging your body. Example, you can buy a new sporty hat or jacket to make yourself look cooler, the same way you can buy condoms and stay healthy while still getting some action. Yeah, exactly what I meant.
  18. I think he posted one a while back, him in shorts that were way too high, and suspenders, and he was all scrawny and blonde. or maybe that was nadril. Nah, that was Quio_To or something. Adrenal had us all writhing in anticipation only to let us down ¬__¬ Yeah, that wasn't me. I laughed evil-y.
  19. Wow, Ultimania, you look different. [hide=Ultimania Previously][/hide] Less stoned. And deadpanned.
  20. That was my least favourite part of the movie. It was just dragged out way too long, in my opinion. Yeah, I know. That's why I said interesting. ;) :? :notalk:
  21. I meant why not get a tattoo just cause it looks cool. Why not get syphillis just cause you'll get some action in the process. Bad reasoning but, yeah. :|
  22. This is hilarious ! [hide=PG ?][yt]4R4yKYUVD2o[/yt][/hide]

Don't see any deeper meaning or way that the dream can be reflected onto real-life, it's just floppin random. Your dream is a cocktail of "The Dairy Queen Effect", the recent "Real-Life Pictures" discussion of stuffed animals, "The Running Thread", and "Scariest Moments in Your Life", and "The Worst Way to Die" threads. No it's not ! :P No, for some reason I just knew... but it was really weird because I knew it was an admin [i'm pretty sure it was kill_life as the admin was female] - but as I do not know the real life looks of admins, all I saw was their forum persona. Also they had this bright red tinge around them. :-k But I can't remember the specific names of the "immigrants"
  25. I watched it two days ago. Wasn't too bad, I mean mindless action isn't too bad -- devoid of any elements of plot or concurrency. Still, it got interesting at the end with all the jiggling and slowmotion and whatnot.
