Stuff you could NEVER get into
For reasons I won't go into I play that game once a year with family and family friends. We always play a tournament so I normally get paired with an old lady or 8 year old girl so I never get very far, but I quite enjoy it. Not something I thought I'd be admitting to any time soon though. Naw' you have to be stupid not to do lawn bowls. Also, admitting you play and enjoy lawn bowls is manly. My public cool opinion polls jumped about 23% when I started playing lawn bowls. :D

Millions of Iranians erupt into riot- UPDATE: Its spreading
Yeah, but they're also being quite PC about it. Not just Iran [they say] but "... world changing events" Also, why did the video of Neda the protester get removed ? I know it's very sad what happened to her, but it will provide some stimulus for people to acknowledge and also react.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Really? It wasn't very expensive. 15 pounds, for all seasons. That's a good deal. :) Going to see Transformers 2 tonight. Yeah. It's not so much as the price, but instead actually finding it. Tell me if it's worth it. I'm planning to go also, but at a later stage - probably this coming weekend with a few friends.

Stuff you could NEVER get into
 Lawn Bowls is far superior to curling ! That looks interesting. Pétanque is better though. It sounds so french, and it reminds me of vacation. Pétanque, the thing with the metal balls ? It has a similar scoring system to Lawn Bowls . I played Pétanque once at a friend's birthday in the country somewhere, but it didn't work too well, seeing as the ground was basically thick grass. :| Lawn Bowls is really fun though. Relaxing, needs tactical skill -- much more than one thinks it needs, and is a mix of both Pétanque and curling. The bowls are specially weighted and so they tilt while they are on the green rolling. Lawn Bowls is even better when played with good friends. :) You should try it. : Don't know whether you'll have access to one where you live. [Where do you live ? Somewhere in Europe I always thought. The Netherlands ?] EDIT: Spelling.

What movie(s) did you last see?
That show right there, is old [Relatively]. Ben Miles is great though. And so is Sarah Alexander. Didn't know that you hadn't been introduced to it. Knowing you and your lust for entertainment. :D Yea, it's like 10 years old or something. I knew the series, but for some reason I never wanted to watch them (I guess the cover of the DVD wasn't attracive). A couple of months ago I showed my friend the League of Gentlemen, and he liked it so much. He asked if I had seen Coupling and wanted to show it to me. Turned out pretty good. Ordered the box of the series last friday. :P -.- Sunuva! How I envy you. :P I had to obtain it illegally and ask a friend for it.

Guitar Tips and Techniques
You should probably have "almost clean" in this case, but yeah, it works on clean as well. It just sounds a lot "more" when it's distorted. I had problem with pinched harmonics in the beginning too, just keep practicing. And like someone else said, dig deep with your plectrum and thumb when doing them. Are you supposed to put your pick on a slight angle when picking a pinch harmonic? Because I tend to turn my hand slightly to the right more when I'm picking it, so I'm basically picking with the pick 'sideways' instead of picking normally. (uhhh hope that made some sense...) Or are you supposed to pick like normal? Adrenal hasn't posted in this thread :P Hey ! What's going on here ! I accidentally came to this thread, because lateralus posted something. Then I saw the thing with my name. ! I don't know anything about guitars, but if you want to know anything about drums - I'm your guy !

Eight Photos
Yeah. That answered it. I was just wondering as to how recently you took them. I would love to go to Alaska one day. Darn expensive. And helicopter ride. :o Cool.

Eight Photos
Holy crap these are awesome. 2, 4 and 8 I would definitley buy -- if they were large prints. I love them. But with the eagle one, I feel it looks too messy. All the green vegetation and the [bleep]yness. I can't focus soley on the eagle. I love those landscapes, and the mountains ! WOW. When'd you go there? And how ? I would love to have those in my room. Massive - plastered across the wall.

Lol what crawled up your [wagon] and died? Yeah, way to bring it back up after it's died down. PM me if you really want to start an argument. Goddamnit, I hate these people. If you're going to bash someone on a public thread, at least don't try and weasel out of your just desserts once it all goes south on you by saying to take it to PM. If you wanted it to be in PM in the first place you wouldn't have posted here you dolt. What ?! I'm confused. If you prefer talking to me on a public thread, then by all means. I was only considering a PM as it would deviate less from what the thread intended. Explain to me how you came to that conclusion. Maybe I'm not the one confused here. You are very selective in the way you read things. Thanks. : No matter what though, Rebdragon, I will always love you.

Today...
As I was going to the library to study today, I decided to walk through my local park. As I was walking through, beneath a tree - I kid you not. A full 30 centimeters [that's 12 inches] diameter fungi mushroom thing was there. About 10 centimeters off the ground aswell. Bright red in colour with yellow spots. Totally amazing. I decided to leave it there and come back to see it after I went to the library. Well, what do you know, by the time I had returned [4 or 5 hours], it had been kicked over and basically destroyed. I saw some highschool kids near it before. Looked like they were in year 8 aswell. Seriously, I hate them. [immature teenagers] But yeah. That's the highlight of my day. Now you see what an interesting life I lead.

Detrimental Effects of Television
I don't see how it's snobby and stuck-up. While you (and I) might think this and this is what looks good, their standards are just different, and clearly, their ideal to put up a show rather than convey a message is working (television, pop art being great examples). Apples and oranges. And no, I'm not trying to start a fight. ;) [hide=While we're on the topic. RANT] I don't see how it's snobby and stuck-up. While you (and I) might think this and this is what looks good, their standards are just different, and clearly, their ideal to put up a show rather than convey a message is working (television, pop art being great examples). Apples and oranges. And no, I'm not trying to start a fight. ;) Let me guess. You like Stoppard ? And youre a Pomo ? Well, I've read a few things here and there [and I'm being modest - *modest* ... ] and I find his total lack of consistency disturbing. Especially as a playwright. Postmodernism, Dadaism any "ism" that has to do with art and literature deserves to shoot itself in the [bleep]ing face. Not just art and literature but "alternate viewpoints". There are no theories, question everything, deconstructive arguments, bleh bleh blub blah. Everything is false. We can never really know anything, subjectiveness of the mind. Everything is interpretation. Seriously all three of you Baudrillard, Lyotard and Foucault can go screw themselves. Biggest bunch of idiots, these postmoderists, dadists, and syncretics. Sorry, I was just in a ranting mood. Note: I still like Derrida. He relies on logic rather than being a [bleep]ing idiot ponce.[/hide] [hide=More Rant]Also. Some WILL say, what apple ? What orange ? Why the heck do we call the orange - orange ? To truly understnad this analogy of "apples and oranges" we must first "deconstruct" them. Oooooh. I see. What makes this analogy pertinent. That these two fruits are completely different ? Who are WE to say that. BLAH BLAH BLAH. It gets boring.[/hide] :D

I just realized that you kind of look like a female version of me. Didn't realize up untill this point because up untill now all your photos were either; . really small, thumbnail size . your eyes were sunken to hell . the above . the above . the above . using a [cabbage]house camera . bad lighting Also, holy [cabbage]. And, no I'm not going to prove it. I'm never posting my photo. All you [TIF community] will ever get is a half of my face through bad lighting and reflected off a cup of tea. I've got a photo like that somewhere.

Holocaust museum shooting and hate crimes
If your native language is English then... #-o Will you be making any contributions besides needlessly insulting people? Probably not. I'm still wondering why he hasn't been banned. At least he's got a steadfast opinion and is entertaining to watch [him argue and rant and insult and bicker and etcetera]. :D

What scares you?
You and me both. What scares me beside this; interaction with other people I don't know. As in I completely don't know. Off the street. Funny thing happened today.
