Very simple question: What scares you? It could be a phobia or a fear from a prior moment.

 

 

 

My fear: I personally am scared of staying home alone since I have a tough time thinking I'm not going to be targeted by someone. Even though I have to stay home alone quite a bit, it scares me if it gets to the night. I'm perfect in the day, terrified in the night.

 

 

 

So what are your fears?

Though I have yet to see one, ghosts.

Edit: I also have another fear that I forgot to mention.

 

 

 

In our foreign language hallway at school, the teachers always have the students make big posters of things and then pin them on the walls. Only the top of the poster is pinned, so the bottom always flies up when someone walks past them.

 

 

 

My fear is walking past a poster that's flying up and having the poster cut my jugular vein. It seems really weird, and I doubt a poster can fly up that high, but... :x

When I find dark houses, I just turn all the lights on. Less "scary" in my opinion.

Snipers in the trees when I'm in my backyard. Crazed motorists attempting to run me down either on the street or on the sidewalk. And the big one: success when coupled with responsibility. Only when they're together, though. I've been thrown assfirst into this for ROTC for next school year, but I'm looking forward to it in a way. It's something I enjoy already, so I'll probably do well. But especially for big future success, it's daunting, but I'll have to face it.

 

 

 

O, and ticks. Awful little bloodsuckers.

I'm annoyed more by ticks because of my paper route, but I was going to add another one:

Death of loved ones. I haven't really had anyone that close to me die before, so I'm afraid I won't be able to cope with it well at all.

It's not him in general that scares me, it's his face. I have nightmares whenever I see it.

Being boring and mediocre terrifies me. It's been killing me lately.

Public libraries, ticks, and being stalked.

Ticks. Just got back from the woods a few minutes ago, first thing I did when I got into the light was check for them.

 

 

 

I used to be scared of clowns. Now they just seem pedo-ish.

 

 

 

Heights make me woozy, so I try to stay away from them. (I love climbing trees though!)

 

 

 

Prolly some other stuff too, but I can't think of anything else atm.

Yeah, thats about it, really.

 

Although I feel uncomfortable around other people, thats not a fear as such.

I have two scenarios.

 

 

 

1) You're home alone on a Friday night, and it's pitch black outside and pouring extremely hard. You look out the window into the darkness, and right as the lightning flashes you see someone in your backyard just looking up at your window. But you only see it for a split second because the lightning was the only light source.

 

 

 

2) You're coming home from whatever late at night, again it's pitch black and nobody is at your house. You look up at your house (you can kind of see it from your headlights). Then all of a sudden you see a light turn on in a room in the corner of the house, and a silhouette of a person walks in front of the window, and they seem to be looking right at you.

I've been living a fear since me and my girlfriend broke up.

 

 

 

I'm afarid of being alone, it terrifies me to no end.

Alien Abduction.

 

 

 

Intriguing, but [bleep]ing scary.

 

Although most people who say they've been abducted show signs of Sleep Paralysis, and that makes sense.

 

 

 

Oh, and Hostile Alien Visitation. I'd probably kill myself, honestly.

Bugs. And my cat jumping on me (it weighs ~17 lbs/7.5 kg, so it hurts quite a bit) :P

Permanent or prolonged disability. Whenever I'm injured from sports, it's hell to just sit on the sidelines, able to do nothing. For instance, last game of hockey, I landed awkwardly on my hip, and it tightened up for the next 2 weeks. Those 2 weeks were the start of outdoor rugby practice. Still showed up and helped out, but hated watching.

 

 

 

It is kind of a bad thing, since if I get injured, I always try to just ignore it, which most of the time makes it worse.

I'm afraid of moths and spiders... and all animals really.

 

 

 

I'm scared of most people my age too (especially around my area =/) actually... just ANY kids around my area, I would NOT be surprised if a 7 year old started harassing me across the street. (It's kinda happened before too...)

 

 

 

I'm afraid of spontaneity. I can't go out if I don't know what time I'm going and when abouts I'll be back. I used to get to the point of crying if I'd be out somewhere and my friends would say 'oh we're going to go such a place...' I used to get terrified, and I still do to an extent, though now I can just make my own way back home.
