  1. Both super antifires and extreme potions work just like normal versions of those potions- you'll be completely protected from the dragons fire with normal antifires and protect/deflect magic prayer. As for meleeing without SS/turm, i really wouldn't recommend it as it would either require bringing a load of food and not surviving for long or Kiting the dragons attacks(just like meleeing 360's in fight caves) which dramatically increases the clicking load. Thus, what i would suggest for you, furthermore as you aren't 99 range or mage yet, to range the dragons with rune crossbow and runite bolts, and get ~87 herblore as soon as possible for extremes. The setup would look pretty much the same as the one posted for ext ranges/super antis. I actually plan on fire surging to 99 at frosts, and then ranging there to 99. If I had to choose, for melee, which would be the smarter choice, Extremes (and EEE) or turmoil/soul split? From my understanding, using melee now, I'd have to use a dragonfire shield, protect from mage, and antifire's? And I'd still be taking damage from their melee/ranged attacks? Which is why I need soul split, to counter that damage? Whereas extremes/super antifire allow me to use a defender? So... 95 prayer is more of a defensive investment, and 87 herblore is an offensive investment? In this case, seeing as I don't think I'd be able to effectively kill them, I believe 95 prayer is a first priority? I'd just like you to clarify this :P Oh, and would you happen to know how much PROFIT I can assume from 95 mage/range to 99 via frosts? (Maging first, of course, so that's a large chunk of range exp from the cannon, if I'm not mistaken.)
  2. OR Obv you can switch out the gloves for rune if you're not comfortable risking another 120k per kill, or str ammy for glory if the extra 60k bothers you. Inventory: 1 x Super attack (4) 1 x Super strength (4) 1 x Super defense (4) 1 x Prayer potion (4) 1 x Ring of recoil 40 x Astral rune 100 x Earth rune 20 x Death rune 20 x Rocktail I wouldn't recommend using a special weapon, as the maul combo's like a [bleep] as is. Good luck ;)
  3. Chaotic xbow makes the DxBow useless unless it has a spec, and I'm hoping it will be 100% drain and 100% chance of activating your bolts special. You will more than likely be able to use dragon bolts with a Chaotic xbow, if they even release d bolts with the xbow.
  4. I've had membership for the past 4ish years, I've always gotten 31 days, no more, no less.
  5. If you could refrain from killing that joke before more then 10 people know about it, I'd appreciate it. kthxbai
  6. I've heard nothing to confirm this nor can I find anything about it in the RSOF. If the apprentice is at an obelisk, you can do familiarization there. The sparkles might not appear depending on your detail settings. If the sparkles aren't there it means that he's not longer letting people into the spirit relm, and you have to wait another hour for the switch. There is only a brief time in which you can enter the relm.
  7. Hey, xpx, I was wondering if you could provide inventory's for players (Like myself) without 95 prayer or extremes/super antifires?
  8. Well you're really going for strength bonus for KO weapons, so a DBA would top both of them. But if you had to pick between those two, the d long would be the better chose. I'd pick the scimitar over the longsword. It's hard to keep up with a chain of 250+s (I think it hits up to 300) from a scimitar in F2P. He's talking about K0s though. And it really depends on the defense of your opponent. If it's 1 def pures vs 1 def pures, then yeah it might be worth it. But if you're facing something with 60+ defense, those chains you're taking about can be pretty easily broken and thus giving them a free heal in, and a chance to turn the fight around on you. Plus it would be pretty taxing on the weapon's timer if you use it for half of the fight =\ Even 99 def vs 99 def you hit most of the time, I don't see a problem with 60 def players :P And there were times when I combo'd with the dba 300+ 10x in a row for insane damage, and it still lasted well over 20 hours, and still isn't broken.
  9. That's absolutely 110% useless. I still have to refresh my email page every 30 seconds to see if I've gotten an email? Why couldn't I just refresh the GE page on Runescape.com?
  10. Sorry for the hijak, but could you link me a few sights that alert you of GE updates? And how does it alert you?
  11. I used one for 20+ hours of pking, waiting for it to break, and it never broke, so I gave up and never logged on again. They last SO [bleep]ing long. The ONLY reason you shouldn't have one is if you can't afford it or if you can't wield it.
  12. I promise you that a fury is worth it, you should NEVER be without it. Despite what the above poster says, Bandos is extremely worth it if you can afford it. I say: 70 prayer, fury, (berserker), ss, 68 summoning, tassets, bcp, in order of what you should get. Piety EVERY task, use a soul wars cape or fire cape, skill cape if you're unable to get eiher. Try to get barrows gloves if you don't already have them, and I assume you already use d boos?
  13. Get 70 prayer, a fury/berserker ring if you don'talready, THEN get bandos, and Piety all tasks. Get 68 summoning ASAP, aswell. Lastly, get a SS, not a GS. Much faster xp, and you shouldn't boss until 99 melee's, 88/96 summoning, 92+ herblore, and 95 prayer. You'd be wasting your time bossing with your current stats.
  14. I'm not 100% sure but this may be worth nearly one billion?
  15. Clues and Effigy's are on different drop tables, people have gotten an effigy AND clue drop at the same time, that wouldn't be possible if they were on the same table. So no, they don't affect each other. Oh, and just a little FYI, SirHemen; if Obturianian, Grimy bunyip and Xpx give you some advice... [bleep]ING TAKE IT! They're more than likely right, they are extremely efficient and trustworthy players. Hardly trolls, you seem to be trolling with all of your pointless and just flat out stupid topics.
  16. The difference in defense of a mugger and a man would mean a lot more to a level 3 than a maxed player. Not really a good comparison. Also, I wasn't talking about a maxed player here, I was talking about the OP, who is mid 80s in melee stats besides 97 strength, and no extremes/turm/rapier. The difference in abyssal demons defense vs. dust devils, etc. is a bit larger to them. This. Sometimes people seem to forget that not everyone is maxed... On the contrary, I didn't forget. I'm simply pointing out that their defense is still too low to matter, lol.
  17. World 117 Daemonheim, just south of the bank, you're welcome. ;p
  18. Saying Abbysal demons have a higher defense than most slayer monsters is just plain stupid, you still hit them early every single attack. That's like saying "Muggers have higher defense then Men, watch out!" It's HARDLY worth mentioning seeing as it wont make a difference.
  19. Pretty much. They do have slightly better defense than most monsters though. Why does everyone say this? I've never once had any problem hitting them...? And I've never seen anyone complain about it? It's rare if I hit 2 0's on a single demon.
  20. Very very glad I didn't log out now. Heres the clue reward:    Why in the hell is it that LITERALLY over half the elite clue rewards I see have a fury kit in them? Are they really THAT common? How do they still stay above 100m street...?
  21. All hellhounds drop is charms...granted they're gold, but still. They are far from a slow task, with the new resource dungeon, they're on of the fastest xp/hr tasks. Unless you do clues (and get decent rewards), they aren't at all profitable though. I forgot all about the resource dungeon! That would make sense if it made it one of the fastest exp tasks. However, still no good drops or charms worth picking up. And they waste a TON of cash in cballs.
  22. I know all about using blue charms, but I'm only a few Blues and a few thousand Crimsons from 99, when I need them, I'll farm them lol. It takes away from the Tokkul/hour, and I don't like that :/
  23. I meant in greater numbers as in "more often". I edited it now cause it wasn't clear. I think he was pointing out that you should always do those tasks because they are extremely fast, giving you more points to skip slower tasks, thus increasing exp/hour. I recomend doing both of those, as well as Fire gians with a cannon in the waterfall. You can kill 6+ per minute, an extremely fast task, and they always profit, and from personal experience, they have an extremely high effigy drop rate. As far as Hellhounds go, keep them blocked, no charms, no profit, low effigy rate AFAIK. Even with a cannon they are stil a slow task and cost 750k+ in Cannon balls per task.
