[DONE]A Correction To Fishing Calculator
Why not just do away with the all items setting? You're either F2P or P2P, right? If you're P2P, that would be the same as all items, right?

Penguin hide and seek.
Each week, you can spot 10 penguins. The penguin locations "reset" every Wednesday. You can find 10 each week and the locations are different from world to world. You can't find all ten in one world and switch to another to find the other ten, but if you can't visit a particular place because you haven't done the necessary quests, you can find, say eight on one world, then try to find another world where the locations are different for the other two. You can store (I believe up to 50) points and you get additional points for having completed the Cold War quest. It is recommended that you finish that quest ASAP if you want to penguin hunt. I think it's the difference between getting just 10 points a week and 15!

RFD
In the tips section on the RFD quest guide, it suggests that the rewards are increasingly good. To directly answer your question, you get more and more of the chest "unlocked" as you progress through the quest. It only matters how many sections of the quest you've completed and not in what order (except some portions of the quest have prerequisites). For instance, once you get to the final fight with the culinaromancer, you will have unlocked the "dragon" styled gloves, because you'll have completed all of the sub-sections before it.

Penguin hide and seek.
If you don't hunt every single one every week, you're throwing away free experience. It takes at most an hour to find them all...and you can put that experience in any skill (though the drawback is that you must do it in one shot, not pick for each point).

UPDATE! I BOUGHT MEMBERS PLEASE HELP ME NOW!
It's been mentioned, but if you wanted to be a pure and a PKer, then you should have trained defense only. It's the most important of the combat skills...period. You should give up some combat levels and train prayer to protect against melee, too.

Big desision. NEW PART! Please read.
Help you out? It seems like you're doing fine. People running is a problem everyone has and in fact, you probably have less trouble as a pure than others. You're just going to have to lure people further away from safety...or walk somewhere very unsafe. I might suggest pretending to skill somewhere remote. Two things will happen: first, you'll get good experience (as long as it is in a non-combat skill, you won't have a combat level increase) and second, you could have someone attack you thinking you'll be an easy kill...maybe they'll take you on without preparing, thinking you're a sitting duck. That's when you wallop them.

As A First Resort Quest Help
If you can start the quest, you should be able to do it. Just keep trying, or buy a hunter potion if you want a couple of extra levels to make it a little easier. Also, follow the guide. Some animals need to be lured with certain smoking weeds.

They do, in fact, have to be in the same room.

Simon Templeton's side-quest
I've been credited before with my TIF name, so I guess that would be okay. I was more curious with when the change would be made to the guides than receiving credit, but thank you.

Simon Templeton's side-quest
I revisited the DwS quest this evening and saw that it looked like a minor change was made to the tips section (but not to the Pyramid Plunder guide), but I didn't notice a credit. I would have PM'd instead of posting, but I don't know which crewbie edited my post.

Leveling farming.... Help Please lol
I would recommend doing MTK and Royal Trouble and putting max into cutting maples and foraging for seeds. Plant any tree seeds willow and above or fruit trees curry and above. If you're not even that high in farming (or until you get that high), farm the highest fruit tree and woodcutting trees you can and mix in stuff like high level plots and higher level herbs. Pay farmers to look after everything. It might cost you some money, but if you're trying for experience, nothing is worse than planting a yew and finding out it's dead. Bushes aren't worth that much, but you could mix in one or two of them if you find a farming route that works. I'd concentrate on planting only the highest level things you can plant or the highest level seeds you have...and start buying or making some garden pies to help plant the ones that are only a couple of levels away from your current level.

The Path of Glouphrie: suggestion
Step 20 says the following: "Return to the ill spirit tree and ring the crystal chime. He will be restored to health and permits you access to the swamp. If you are not already armed for the final battle, you may wish to use the spirit tree to travel to a bank, such as the Gnome Stronghold." I think the suggestion might instead be ", such as the Grand Exchange." Since it's closer and you don't have to go up a ladder. Also, I found out (to my delight) that you don't have to finish the quest to take advantage of the new features of the spirit trees. You only have to get to the point where you visit the sick tree and cure it in the poisonous swamp. That might be a nice point to add to the tips section.

Correction to Agility Guide
The one-way grapple has been that way for some time...well before the diary. I know, because I got a membership in August and haven't had access to a grapple that long (maybe in late October) and tried it then...and it was one-way.

2nd January 2009 - Behind the Scenes 2009 // January
Without a doubt the best news I think I saw was the logout timer being increased to 5 minutes. Awesome. I can finally walk away from the computer to get a drink or even do a small chore in between tasks...even just recharge run without worrying about logging out.

[ANSWERED] Treasure Trail "search" addition.
You're not being dumb. Most importantly, you weren't pushy or whiny. Welcome to members! Congratulations on joining the best online RPG available (in my opinion)!

Agility for Mourning's Ends part II
I'll tell you something that worked for me. Go to Oo'glog and take a dip in the pool right before you head in to do the quest. I think there is something to do with how much run energy affecting you falling on the handholds. I didn't fall once and my agility was 60. Each time you get to that part, go back and take dips in the pools for prayer, disease/health, and speed.

[ANSWERED] Treasure Trail "search" addition.
I'm sure they appreciate your help, but the clue is already there on the page.

Am I good enough for Bronze Drags?
I got my Bronze Dragons assignment from Chaldear. I was actually wondering the same thing...my stats are below. I KNOW this site has a metal dragons guide, but in it, Bronze Dragons are considered..let me see if I can get this right: "Bronze Dragons are excluded from this guide. Players view them as not worth the potions and the time to kill. Bronzes have mediocre rune drops and can drop dragon platelegs and plateskirts, but the odds are immensely less than from Iron and Steel Dragons. Don't waste your time on them unless you feel you are not ready for Iron and Steel Dragons or need a little practice before going up against the big guys. If you decide to fight Bronze Dragons instead, you should still use this guide as a general idea of how to fight them." I realize some heavy hitters think it's an easy task, but I don't! I would like a study guide for the bronze tasks, too!

Some Quest images
...see my other post... Don't bump. You even mentioned that they don't have to use the images if they don't want to do so. The crewbies are very thorough. Bumping is a kind of insult on a forum like this, where suggestions and updates can take some time (especially if it's not an emergency).

Farming skill guide image
No need to bump images or suggestions. The crewbies are busy. In fact, don't bump. This isn't the forum to be doing so and it's kind of insulting to do so.

Beer glasses in Falador
I don't know if this is useful at all, but I didn't know if anyone else had ever seen this. There is ONE problem. I forgot to leave my inventory visible, but it's an easily repeatable thing to do. I bought a dwarven stout and accidentally drank it away from an anvil, so I went to buy another one, but when I had the beer glass in my inventory, Emily asked if I wanted to sell it back...well, not exactly asked for it. Anyway, the inventory would have been useful to prove you get a measly 2 gold for the glass. Just thought it might be something to use somewhere. [hide=] [/hide] [Crew edit: Added hide tags ;)]

An ordinary black knight
Killed a black knight and got the "peon" level exact wording for when you reach that level. I don't know if this is the place for it or if it's even useful, but I thought you might want it and it's better to provide it for you than to just assume you all wouldn't be able to use it.

Completed crewbie missions
[hide=done, thanks!] Alright...thank the catablepons in the SoS for this one... [hide=04.13 North 12.45 East Crandor, near the broken walls and pillars and scorpions toward the northeast.] ...with the mini-map and the proof and the picture of the clue... ...a 'cleaner' mini-map and coordinate showing... ...getting the new casket, which just so happened to be the final one...[/hide] Hope that helps...

[confirmed] CALC: Herblore, both
I must say, I wondered about this, too. I make all my potions in twos for the express purpose of making barbarian mixes in everything. I don't have a single potion (save for summoning potions, which I usually sell immediately anyway) that ISN'T made into mixes. I even use up potions I can't yet make mixes for if I get them, OR request assistance to make them into mixes. I think a calculator that accounts for that would be great.

Elite Dark Warrior drops...
From past experience, posts for stuff usually have to wait until confirmed, but once it does, you will get the credit, if you post first or confirm.
