Hazelmere's WGS "prophecy" during PoG
Any chance we could get a comprehensive guide of exactly what we need? I still have a few quests to complete so if any dialogue is needed, I can get it, provided I know ahead of time.

Need Advice!
Go to the stronghold of safety...finish it completely if you haven't...but kill the monsters needed for the sceptre...enough for two pieces of each. By the time you get to the ankous, you should reach the levels you want.

Finished collecting: items from Dealing with Scabaras
Well, I used a transparent cut to compare and it looked different when I looked at it in the MS Paint editor. Now, I'm not so sure...it could have just been that the windows were slightly different sizes when I used "prt scr". I will continue to copy the images as I am doing, just in case. I should clarify...the pages themselves may not be dropped in any particular order. I was speaking of the text in each type (oily, exquisite, smelly, etc.). It is specific to each type of page. You can thus tell what kind of pages you need by what you already have in your book. Damp papyrus text starts - Although he did not and it ends with - isolation we crave? The log will not leave gaps for the missing text, but it will insert it wherever it needs to fit. That's all I meant.

Falador Diary (medium) - sweetcorn part
I don't know, but I'll tell you this... I had sweetcorn already planted there before the update put the diary into the game...fully grown. I just dug out the scarecrow and re-planted him in the middle (flower) plot and it gave me credit. I think it has more to do with the scarecrow than anything.

Finished collecting: items from Dealing with Scabaras
These two pages are ONLY found inside the cave where you have the battle with the corrupt high priest (in the dungeon accessed from the plateau). They appear in the following order in your completed Scabaras Research book, though again, it is not necessary to place them in the book in any particular order. [hide=Tatty papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Creased papyrus...][/hide] The reason I usually ask for a signal of when I can delete the photos is because I am sharing a photo share (sharing a share?) account with a friend. I just don't want to clutter up his space, even though neither of us really minds how many photos are on there. I will edit all that out and just place the new pages here. I can't remember which ones I need. I think I'll figure it out. I will ALSO be placing all the pages IN ORDER of how the text appears in the scabaras research book after you copy it to the log. It shouldn't take too long to do that...all I have to do is figure out where each segment begins and ends. That's the kind of thing that isn't completely necessary, but the kind of thing I think some people would like to know. I'm also 99 percent sure that the log text is exclusive to each kind.

I definitely caught them out of order, but I can't remember if I talked to the seer or not.

Okay, not only are you getting the image of the key which you can clean up, but you also get the story behind it's creation. How about them apples? [hide=Scabarite key][/hide]

Finished collecting: items from Dealing with Scabaras
I think the text is exclusive to each examined type of papyrus because when you read the book after inserting the pages, new text can appear in between already "written" notes, because when I got a duplicate, the same text appeared. So, the text with it is the text that goes into the Scabaras research. A duplicate page will get you..."You already have this information in your logbook" while a new page copied gets you..."You copy the scrap of information into your logbook" I DO think that it must be easier to get notes from the scarabite lancers and rangers than from the dried zombies and skeletons. It's much more dangerous to run down to them, but it seems like they drop more and it costs less in food. This is the order that they get "copied" into the log. It does not matter which order you copy them in, but this is the order that the information copied from each appears in the Scabaras research book. [hide=Tattered papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Shabby papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Smelly papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Fine papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Cheap papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Well-made papyrus...][/hide] [hide=High-grade papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Greasy papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Damp papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Oily papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Scented papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Soft papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Brittle papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Recent papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Well-preserved papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Exquisite papyrus...][/hide] [hide=Hastily-written papyrus...][/hide] Please let me know ASAP if there are other items needed from that point of the quest onward. I expect to finish this quest soon. If you can update the list of needed items (and clean up the posts that are no longer necessary and let me know when I can delete images from the hosting server I am using) I would appreciate the help helping Tip.It!

Pheonix information!
Question: With my stats, will I be able to survive a run through the cavern with good gear and food and a battle against the Phoenix? I want to get started on the daily rewards before Jagex decides to lower the rewards.

How to kill bronze dragons?
I can't make antifire potions yet. I tried buying them at max price. There are none on the G.E. at the moment. I can't believe how tough those things are...and those are just bronze.

SportsGuy's blog -> Membership, the 65+ plateau, and beyond
Ever since the first night I happened upon RuneScape.com, I've been frantically trying to add to my total level. First in F2P, where countless nights were spent mining, chopping trees, fishing on the River Lum or on Karamja's isle, or attacking cows. I managed to build a terrifying free world character, but I could not manage to stay interested with such a paltry portion of the RuneScape World Map at my disposal. My first real goal was to get every F2P skill above level 40. I did it. I then set out to have access to each F2P guild. I did it. I wanted to have access to every F2P magic spell and F2P prayer. Done and done. Then my goals started getting loftier. I wanted to be able to craft every F2P item available (up to diamond amulet!). I wanted to set myself up for easy levels in members' skills in construction and fletching. I wanted a skill cape. I wanted to have access to every guild upon entering the ranks of the members. I wanted to mine and smith rune. None of that came to pass. I couldn't wait. So now I'm here. Early into my character's journey as a member, I made it a point to unlock as many areas and methods of transportation as I could. Quest points were adding up in amazing amounts, just as game updates seemed to be making skill levels easier to reach with bonus experience in almost every skill. I soon found construction and summoning to be money pits, so I only built what was necessary and only crafted pouches necessary for questing. I hunted when necessary, fished until I had access to the final guild I could not enter, and slayed to have access to more quests and actually earn points (after Smoking Kills). Most recently, I've reached the ability to cut magic trees, earned a Ring of fire from lighting beacons in the beacon network, and in the span of less than two minutes, I reached 73 magic, 64 prayer, 95 combat, and 70 range (while fighting Fire Giants, burying big bones, and high alching drops). It certainly has been my biggest gaming highlight...so far. [hide=Tears of Guthix][/hide] My goals have become ones that allow me more enjoyment and less 'grinding' time. With the exception of the latest "In Pyre Need" quest, I'm resolved to finishing just one quest a week (to save the points for Tears of Guthix requirements). I'm resolved to writing a weekly entry in this blog as a method of staying on track and reminiscing about times passed. I'm resolved to try more mini-games and prepare for new quests and distractions and diversions. I'm also resolved to share some of my ideas with Jagex on how to make the game even better (at their request, of course). In the coming weeks and months, I expect to raise my prayer level to reach the '70' plateau. When it does, I think I will start to concentrate on other skills. I want to finish Knight Waves. I want to complete every quest available for the Quest Cape. I want to fletch my way to Magic longbow. I want to cook a Wild pie. I want to complete every achievement diary 'hard' task. I want to be able to fish for shark. I want a miraculous experience boost in herblore and smithing! I want to work on some of those other goals I set back in F2P. I hope your experience is as good as mine has been. If less than five months as a member has gotten me this far, how much more will my character see in 2009?

In Pyre Need
Added to the tips and tricks section should be the parts about Phoenix Lair. Adapted from the official RuneScape website... [hide=]* After finishing the quest, you will be given access to the Phoenix Lair Distraction and Diversion once each day. Make your way through the caverns just as before. This time, the guardians of the cave are dangerous! You have a Slayer level of at least 51 to fight the phoenix. In addition, you must have a pair of secaturs, a knife, and a tinderbox in your inventory (can someone confirm whether a bow will work as in barbarian training?). The guardians of the cave will be dangerous after finishing the quest. * Each time you complete and ignite the phoenix pyre, you will receive: - 1000 Crafting exp. - 7500 Firemaking exp. - 3000 Fletching exp. - 5000 Slayer exp. the first time you finish the first time ONLY, 500 exp. each time after * After defeating the phoenix, you may ask the reborn phoenix for five additional quills with which you can create phoenix Summoning pouches, level 72 summoning required. * To leave, just as in the quest, escape through the tunnel leading into and out of the last room. There is a slim chance that you may get "lost" and find a phoenix egg, which can be hatched by either clapping (emote?) or kicking. Clapping will get you a 'cute eggling' and kicking will get you a 'mean eggling' and you may have only one of each type of pet.[/hide]

[Answered] obsidian rocks for tzhaar quest.
Ah, well, here is the link to the mine I spoke of: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=toktz_ket_dill_mine.htm I don't think it is the access to this mine, however.

Jungle Demon
Let the squad do the work for you. Run over the nearest bridge and run whichever direction will bring the demon into the fire of the squad. Once his hitpoints bar is almost down to nothing, run back across and use the same tactics you were going to use to fight him the whole way. In either case, if you decide to straight up fight him, do it in the presence of the squad. They'll at least help you. There is no benefit to fighting him all the way as far as drops are concerned.

Pyramid Plunder Help and Advice needed >_<
I think you're missing out if you don't loot the sacrophagus in each room. It doesn't take that long (and like I said, do that FIRST). You WANT to get one of those sceptres and the sarcophagus is one of the ways you can get it. By all means, loot the chests, too...but the first couple of trips should be spent looting lightly until the last room. Once you get comfortable and figure out how to "cut corners" you will find you'll have more time and can start looting more in the second to last room. Try this guide for starters...it's Tip.it's own. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=pyramid_plunder.htm The later rooms take longer to get to, so you'll be able to loot less urns in the later rooms, but urns aren't as good in the early rooms anyway. Always bank. Yes, it takes a LITTLE bit of time, but you're taking time to drop each item anyway...why not run to that Contact bank and end up getting paid money for your hard work at looting. TRUST me...100 stone statuettes ends up getting you 20000 gold. Along with the scarabs and seals and pottery and gold items...at least it's worthwhile when you get to that Dealing With Scabaras quest point. If you don't want to bank everything...just bank stone and gold items...even just that much will be worth it. Otherwise, yeah, you're getting experience, but you're not paying yourself for your time! If you have the potions or want to buy them, you're paying for them with the money earned from Simon.

should I drop this clue ?
I'm telling you... I'm probably the most paranoid wilderness-phobic person out there. I ended up over-preparing. Prayer and minimal gear will protect you. Honestly, I'm HAPPIER now to get a clue in the wilderness than one fighting a Saradomin wizard. THOSE guys are tough. The Zammy mages are not tough, especially if you dragon dagger P++ special them.

I would just like to compliment Necromagus on some superior writing. All the articles were great, but Necromagus produced what I'd consider an excellent draft.

I wouldn't consider it a mining site, but it IS an ACCESS point to a mining site....isn't it?

Pyramid Plunder Help and Advice needed >_<
To be honest, without knowing what you've got in the bank and what you're willing to part with (money, resources), it's hard to make suggestions... I trained for twenty levels or so at PP. First and foremost, I'd suggest making bank room for ALL of the things you steal. Once you get to a point in Dealing with Scabaras, you can sell Simon Templeton noted items (except for the gold) that will PAY for any potions you buy or food you consume. So...are you thieving for experience? No lockpicks or snake flute. I would make it your goal to just thieve the sarcophagus and chest in each room until you get to the last room you can get into. Thieve that room's sarcophagus and chest first, then do all the snake urns until you run out of time. First and foremost, ALWAYS do the sarcophagus first and THEN the chest if you're just doing those. Why? Because the mummy will only hit you once every couple of seconds which will let you loot the chest without having to worry about getting poisoned or interrupted before you finish looting the chest. If the scarabs get loose (looting the chest first), you won't have enough time to loot the sarcophagus between hits. You do need defense, but don't sacrifice too much for speed...definitely wear spottier/spotted cape and boots of lightness. If you can, charge up prayer, health, and speed at Oo'glog pools before starting. Bank every time at the bank unlocked after Contact! and bring along maybe one food and one or two antipoison doses. If you have access to gloves of silence, I'm not sure if they help or not, but penance gloves would be better. If you have the cash, you can buy lots of food and potions. If you have lots of it stored, all that cash you'll get from Simon will be a bonus. Use the pharoah's staff if you can to save time...recharge it with the loot you get from the pyramid. It's the only way to train thieving, in my opinion! Oh, and yes, there is a mini-game guide on Tip.It that is fantastic (and you might see my name in the credits on there, so I am biased!).

should I drop this clue ?
Keep the clue...the zammy wizard isn't as tough as you might think (as tough as a saradomin wizard). I would say, make it your goal to put together a set of armor you'd be willing to lose, charge your prayer up as high as you can...bring a good weapon, and make a go at it. I get scared each and every time I have to go into the wilderness that far... The worst that can happen is that a rev will "join" in the attack. Make a run for it to level 20 and tele out or seek safety at bounty hunter...you'll have to start over in attacking the zammy wizard, but I think you should give it a shot.

[DONE]A Correction To Fishing Calculator
P2P only lists everything you can do as PVP. It does not have any F2P items on it nor the SC tools data. So no, they are not the same. Would it be better to then call the P2P something different? P2P= pay to play while PvP is player vs. player, so... That would be VERY confusing to me...I'm P2P, but I don't play on PvP worlds.
