I jog a few miles every other day and I also cycle every now and then. I swim some at the gym, but only for pure enjoyment.

That's why I'm minoring in criminal justice, and majoring in engineering. Also, the physical fitness part of it is no problem at all for me.

As long as it's kept neat, then I personally don't have a problem with it. I would never have long hair myself, but to each his own.

Ha, reminds me of a guy I know that's been on drugs for years, with pot being the drug he started with. Of course now he does ecstacy, pills, and cocaine among other things. The weird thing is, he's really intelligent and one would never know that he does drugs by looking at him or talking to him.

I haven't logged in lately, so I have one question... Does the QuickChat rule apply to private chat as well, or just to public?

It's about time they finished the set because as others have said, dragon has just about lost its appeal to most players, what with there being so many other better options. I must say though, it does look really nice, as do those capes in the background...

I was planning on minoring in criminal justice, and possibly looking into joining the State Bureau of Investigations, which is similar to the FBI but on the state level (less traveling lol). The pay for state and federal officers is a little better than the pay for local officers, so that's a plus. But I agree completely, the pay for police in general is appalling, considering the responsibilities and danger involved. With that considered, I just could never see myself behind a desk all day. I'm the kind of guy that needs to be out doing something, and an office job, no matter what the pay, just seems miserable to me. Who knows, I might even make it on the tactical response team if I'm lucky. :pray:

I mostly read non-fiction but when I'm feeling particularly nerdy, I like the Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogies. I'm not into the whole fantasy thing, but my cousin introduced me to these books a few years ago, and I've been unable to put them down since.

If you ask me, 100+ combat hasn't been rare since Pest Control was released.

Don't know if this has been said or not, but everytime I post or log in, I get an error message. However, my post still goes through but I have to re-open the forums everytime it does.

Well, this is certainly strange to say the least. But at least it's back up to some extent.

It's just another example of the "luck factor" in the game. The same thing happens to me in combat. I've been beaten repeatedly by players with far lower stats, and the same equipment as me.

Don't let it bother you and just ignore them. Arguing with people just allows them to insult you more. People like that will eventually see that their insults are futile, and will leave you alone.

Monster dancing and the dreaded "double take" are products of the flawed pathfinding system that's been around for years. I'd rather Jagex to just take a month and fix all of the little problems like these in the game, rather than pumping out quests and graphics updates all the time...

I hate randoms with a passion and if it were up to me, I would take them out of the game completely. But, a more viable solution would be that if you have received the same random "x" number of times, you could choose whether or not you would like to keep getting the random.

People will always try to find ways to cheat and get ahead, whether it's buying gold from autoers or using an autoing program to level up their character. Jagex just decided that enough was enough and took away a major avenue that cheaters had to get ahead in the game. The update had to be drastic, or else it wouldnt phase the cheaters. There will still be people trying to auto for their own personal benefit, but the amount of trash that has been removed from the game outweighs the losses (in my opinion). As far as the game becoming risk free, I will agree that the introduction of gravestones greatly lessens the danger of dying with valuable items. However, revenants in the wild are far from docile, especially in the case of f2p. What other f2p monster can cast teleblock and ice barrage, let alone at the same time?

I suppose that whether or not an update is truly good or bad is relative to the person judging it. Good read overall.

Seems like the game's come so far in such a short amount of time. It makes me wonder what it will be like next 5 or so years... :-k
