Can't say I've ever really been addicted to anything, but I was pretty hooked on RS a few years ago. I wasn't addicted to it per se, but I liked the interaction that came with MMO's and I played it whenever I had time to kill.

They base their programming on ratings, which is why they air so much crap. Evidentally, there are a lot of people out there that like the junk that's on there now. AS used to be awesome years ago, but now there's only about 2 shows on there that I actually look forward to seeing.
  3. Just got off work and now I'm watching the news and listening to some music.
  4. This Fire - Killswitch Engage
  5. It'll have some impact on how the game is viewed from outside parties, that's a fact. But, the people that only judge a game by its graphics will still write off RS as sub-par to other MMO's out there such as Age of Conan and WoW. That being said, RS will still probably see an influx of new players because of the improved graphics. I mean, there's only so much that you can do with a web-based game, while still making it accessible to players with slower computers. Graphics will never be the deciding factor as to whether or not RS is a good game. That factor lies solely on the gameplay and community. The graphics will be "Acceptable" to the current players, but new players looking for a game with spectacular graphics will be disappointed.
  6. 1. Who inspires You. My mother, who battled a very nasty and fatal form of skin cancer for several years and never lost hope or the will to live. 2 Do u have a role model and if so who? Not so much, but if I had to pick one, it would be Audie Murphy. During WWII, he single-handedly staved off a German attack by ordering his men to retreat and then calling in artillery support, while manning a mounted machine gun on a burning tank destroyer. He put his own life at risk to save the lives of his men in the face of overwhelming odds. That kind of courage and dedication is something to truly admire.

  8. Someone enlighten me on these "pogs". I can't seem to remember them for the life of me, but I do however remember the big yo-yo craze that was going around. I had like 50 of those things.
  9. The best advice I could give to someone your age would be to save your money from birthdays or something. But, if that's not an option, there's not much else I can tell you. Just wait until you turn 15 and get a job at a grocery store or someplace like that.
  10. Ha, I went through like 5 big wheels when I was little. I was always the kind of kid that spent all day outside but when I did watch t.v., I always liked Doug and Hey Arnold. My favorite toys were cap guns and I would always pretend to be a cowboy or soldier. \
  11. Yes, that makes perfect sense. Here in the U.S. however, it's the younger generation that is becoming obese. It's partly due to the increasing availability of fattening foods (ie: fast food) and the lack of exercise among school-age children. The worst part is, it's only going to get worse as long as the parents stand by and let it happen.
  12. Wow, never saw this coming. Is it blamed on the excess of fast-food like in the U.S., or what?
  13. Jazz, classic rock, death metal, hard rock, blues and especially metalcore  .

  15. They've been selling it around here for a good while, but I've never personally tried it. My friends say it tastes like extremely bitter Tylenol though.

I didn't know that was a weird habit, I thought everyone did that :? .
  17. Fall Out Boy
  18. That song pisses me off for some reason when I hear it. But as for the overall worst, anything by Soulja Boy, just take your pick.
  19. The Curse (album) -> Got me into Atreyu, and metalcore in general. So Cold -> Breaking Benjamin I Shot the Sheriff -> Eric Clapton Tonightless -> Eighteen Visions Californication -> RHCP Away from the Sun -> 3 Doors Down Down with the Sickness -> Disturbed Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (album) -> Avenged Sevenfold Girl's Not Grey -> AFI Freebird -> Skynyrd You Give Love a Bad Name -> Bon Jovi Left Behind -> Slipknot There are many more, but these are just some that come to mind at the moment.

  21. You're officially declared a United States citizen and in turn, an adult. Um...you're a citizen as soon as you're born, as long as you were born in the States themselves. Maybe if you're an immigrant 18 lets you become a citizen.... You don't have full rights as one though. You're still under the control of a parent or guardian, unless you're emancipated from them.
  22. It's hard to pick just one, when I dislike so many of them. But, I'd say Paris Hilton just because of the example she sets to children. If kids grow up thinking that kind of behavior is acceptable, God help us all.
  23. You're officially declared a United States citizen and in turn, an adult.
  24. Seeing as how you can't buy booze in the U.S. until you're 21, I bought some lottery tickets instead.
