  1. Took awhile, but I finally got the chord switches down :) Also, I finally broke 600k one One! [hide=One 600k+!!! + breakdown] [/hide] I don't usually mess up Solo C and D, but I did surprisingly well in Solo B so I can probably get another 5k-10k more if I can FC those sections. And got a -5 run on FCPREMIX...about -3 in Aggro Part and -2 in End Lead. Probably won't FC it anytime soon, but who knows :?: [hide=FCPREMIX -5][/hide]
  2. Well if you're looking for a helm cheaper than Zerker, are you sure that you'll want to risk a Whip/D Scim? Despite that, you should just wear a rune helm if you're not willing to risk losing a Zerker/Neitiznot. By the way, you get a free Neitiznot Helm after completing Freminik Isles, and they cost a bit more than Zerkers IIRC. Your goals are good, but I would definitely go for 70 Prayer for Piety if you plan on getting 70 Defence. Not much more to it really, just keep raising your strength as high as you can and you should be set.
  3. Do you plan on being pure range? Or are you going to incorporate strength? If so just get your defence to 40, and keep your range and strength the same levels. You should also get 44 prayer for Hawk Eye, Protection prayers and Ultimate Strength. If you plan on just using range, then keep your strength as low as possible, but high enough so that you can use it to train defence. At 33 Defence, you should complete Dragon Slayer to boost you to 40 (you'll be a few 100XP points off 40, but you can easily gain those in a matter of minutes). Get 44 Prayer for Hawk Eye and Protection prayers, and you should also raise your defence as you get into the higher range levels.
  4. Yes, definitely do Vampire Slayer. The less training you have to do the better. There's several ways to make money on a pure: Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, RC'ing, etc. If you're not a fan of skilling you can buy coal and iron ore, smelt them into steel bars and sell them for about a 100-130 GP profit. Why would you want to wait on others? You'd only be letting them get ahead of you. If the new PvP is like the old days, then it shouldn't matter what your stats are because you should be able to fight anyone within your combat level. Flesh Crawlers are your best bet for training, since they max a hit of only 1.
  5. ^ Exactly. If you plan on making a Kryptic Inc-esque pure, then I can't guarantee you much kills, but I can guarantee you'll face death several times. This is especially true if you plan to PK in P2P, a Mage Shortbow spec could easily kill you, along with Obby Mauls, Rune C'bows etc. You might have low HP at a low combat level with high range and strength, but you'll find yourself eating every second because with each single hit your opponent delivers you could already be at 1/2 of your original HP. If you want to continue down your current path, go ahead, I'm not trying to force you to gain HP levels or anything, I'm just pointing out the many flaws that comes with it.
  6. I don't know whether or not you're going to be a P2P pure or an F2P, so I'll just post stats for both... F2P: Attack: 40 Strength: 40 Defence: 40 Range: 79 Prayer: 44 Magic: 59 HP: ~71 Combat Level - 71 At 79 Range and 44 Prayer you'll be able to hit 15's with Addy Arrows. Mage isn't really an effective asset in F2P, so you can just get it to 59 so you can use Fire Blast if you ever go to FoG. P2P: Attack: 40 Strength: 40 Defence: 40 Range: 85 Prayer: 52 Magic: 82 HP: ~74 Combat Level - 76 Your range is higher in this setup because if it were the same as the first one, your mage would cause you to be wizard based. You'll be able to use Ice Blitz, and you'll also get hits 40+ with Rune C'Bow equipped with D Bolts (e). You'll eventually want to raise your defence to about 70 once you're in the 90+ for range.
  7. If you're looking for the maximum stats you can obtain and still be -56 combat, then it's these: 40 Attack 75 Strength 2 Defence 75 Range x Mage 1 Prayer ~70 HP Combat Level - 55 If you were to gain 2 Attack/ Strength/ Defence/ HP levels, you'd advance to 56 combat, and if you were to gain 3 Ranged levels you'd also advance. If you were 1 Defence then you would've been able to get 77 Range and 71 HP while still being 55 combat, but unfortunately that's not the case here.
  8. 40 Attack 60 Strength 1 Defence 1 Prayer 63 Range x Mage ~57 HP Combat Level - 47 These are the typical stats almost every range/2Her aims for. Not much more to say except don't get your mage too high, since you'll probably only be using it for teleportation and high alchemy.
  9. Man, those Dragonforce DLC's look intense
  10. Any type of pure is good these days if you know how to use it. If your ultimate goal is to be a berserker pure, then you should just stay pure melee until you're at a high strength level, from which you can get 70 attack and 45 defence. If you plan on being a tanker, then work on your range and mage primarily so that you're in a good position for when you get defence. 52 Prayer is a must for each, but before that keep your prayer at 31 for the melee pure, and 44 for the ranger.
  11. Nice kills and loot, but wtf is up with that 40+ rating in FoG? I beat my opponent (lvl 3) 5000 to 0 and only got a 23+ rating -.-
  12. I've been taking French for 7 years - I'm good with grammar, and I can understand people when they talk French, but my speaking is only average. I don't know what year you are in French, but you should definitely attempt to speak French in class more. It's hard at first because you'll probably have the fear of getting tongue twisted and not know what to say, but as the year progresses I can guarantee that you'll see a large improvent in your speaking. If you want to learn French properly as you say, then I wouldn't suggest radio stations since it'd be an extremely slow learning process. As for TV shows, I'm sure there's some stations for kids where they don't speak as fast so that you can hear and try to understand what they're saying. Books are always good as well, have a dictionary beside you to look up words you aren't familiar with and try to apply them in your sentences so they stick in your head. Or you could find a French forum so that you're regularly posting in French. Just try to surround yourself around the French culture as often as possible, and remember that you can only improve by doing so. Bon chance :
  13. Well you should also get 52 Pray, because farcasting + Smite = a deadly combo. Definitely get 82 Mage for Ice Blitz so you hit higher and have more time to prepare yourself. From there it's pretty obvious that you should get 70 Attack if you're willing to risk a whip, and 85+ strength for higher hits.
  14. Finally! I finally 5* GH3! I was so close to 600k too, but I missed the star power in 'Solo Fill 1' and I also was choking horribly in 'Almost There...'. Ah well, FC'd 'You Rock!" though :D [hide=TTFAF, 592,974][/hide]
  15. oh gosh, that reminded me of what my parents were like when I used to amount up to 6 hours a day on RS. But yeah, it's really annoying when you're good at a game and the chance you get to show it people only have negative things to say.
  16. Well it depends on how much work you want to put into it, if you decide you want to turn that account into a PKer (it has the potential) you'll spend a large majority of time training before you can start PKing. However if you decide to start a new account you'll spend a small amount of time getting skills up in order to make money, but you can raise your stats by PKing so it won't be so boring. If you want to use your current account to PK, I'd aim for these stats for now: 75 Attack 85 Strength 75 Defence ~82 HP 70 Prayer 85+ Range 82+ Mage x Summoning Combat Level - 105 If you choose to be a melee/mage then work your strength and magic up to 99, if you want to be a range/mage then get your range and magic to 99 as well as your defence up to at least 90+. I'd leave your summoning for now so it doesn't interfere with your combat level any more than it has now. When you reach those stats, if you were to fight another lvl. 105 they'd most likely have at least one stat at 99 (most likely strength), and you'd be at a pretty large disadvantage. It's safe to raise summoning once you've obtained maxed stats for the type of pure you want to be - even if you aren't 99 HP by then you can still raise summoning because 99 HP will take longer than you think, and it doesn't make that huge a difference if you were to fight a person who had say 96 HP and you 92.
  17. Keep in mind BH won't be around much longer, so you don't really have to aim for under 112 combat in order to maximize your PKing campaigns. As for now I'd definitely work on getting your mage to at least 82, and your strength 90+ (eventually 99). Also think about getting your prayer to 70 for Piety, since you have the defence requirements needed to do the Knight Waves. As for summoning, I'd suggest leave it for now until you get a good amount of charms to bring you to a high level. If you just level it to say about 30 with charms you might already have, it will interfere with your combat level and if you decide to PK you might face opponents with stats significantly higher than yours, making it a one-sided match. With that said, you should aim for these short-term goals: Attack: 75 Strength: 90 (99 eventually) Defense: 75 HP: 90+ Mage: 82+ (94 eventually) Range: 99 Pray: 52/70 Summoning: 1 (for now) Combat: 101/103 And ultimately you'll want these stats: Attack: 75+ Strength: 99 Defense: 75+ HP: 99 Mage: 99 Range: 99 Pray: 70 Summoning: 52+ (68 for Bunyip's) Combat: 108 At that point it's safe to raise summoning to whatever level you want since your strength is maxed, meaning if you were to face another 108 who had 1 summoning they'd just have higher attack and/or defence, though that's something you can cope with.
  18. Well then you should aim for these short term goals while you wait for the new PvP to take effect: 40 Attack 60 Strength 1 Defence 63 Range ~57 HP 1 Prayer x Mage Combat Level - 47 From that point focus on getting 70 range and strength, while keeping your strength higher than your range since the 2H will be your K0 weapon. Here are some videos showing examples of the Range/2H style: Most Dreaded (well known prayer switching range/2h'er) - http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ0voWYH5QA K A R I L 2h (used to fight him  ) - http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=I7cUQNH5EP8 And don't worry about mage, it doesn't affect your combat level like it used to. Use the combat calculator to make sure you're not getting too many mage levels, otherwise it'll make you magic based.
  19. Well you should probably use the Range/2H method until you're in the low 60's in terms of combat level, by then you should have around 83 strength and range, setting you up to be a formidable rune pure. It's good too because if you decide to go P2P you'll be able to choose between the range/mage (assuming you plan to get 82/94+ mage), melee/range, or melee/mage. If you want to do one of those three tell me and I can give you some goals to set out for. Whatever you do just remember that you're not binded by level restrictions anymore, we're finally free :D (again...)
  20. The into was over-the-top, the music didn't really fit the PKing mood, and you were basically rushing everyone the entire video while calling them noobs; I don't think I'm ready for this new era :?
  21. You shouldn't focus on creating a pure for the low-crater/mid-crater, because we all know that BH (aka BS) won't last much longer. It really depends on what type of pure you want to be, if you can give me a little more info as to what you're planning to do with your character then maybe I can help you out.
  22. You might as well go above 112 combat by getting 75+ attack because BH will soon be no more, and levels won't matter.
  23. Thanks :D But you have Cliffs of Dover and Before I Forget, two songs which are fun to play but are annoying to FC :wall:
