Well I have read through all the posts on this topic... and then I woke up to post this: :lol: Im not going to post my opinion, as it has already been stated many times before in many different ways. I am for the option of "Learn by doing", sure I lost all my rune armour I got from months of F2P hard work via poison in Karamja jungle. I was well educated also! - I had the world map up, looking at Shilo Bank, trying desperately to find a way into the village to use it, and trying to use my ring of duelling in between poison splashes... I died in the CW bank.... I was heartbroken then of course, but I learnt a lot from it and am better off because of it. I learnt not to go back to Karamja for a very long time... =P Well thats my life story over with, I think there is enough warnings and information around, so that if a player that actually took Runescape seriously enough to get membership for it, and seriously enough to get placed into these "dangerous" scenarios, not only would he be mature enough to do his own research before hand, but in the event of an emergency would be able to get over his losses like a man! (Or woman) How about this for a solution though! Let Jagex keep making warning screens as they have been doing, but allow people to check a box in their account management, or maybe in the Doomsayer: NEVER WARN ME OF DANGERS! {x} Wouldnt that allow people to be hardmen if they want to be, and sensible if they dont? Thoughts and comments? =]

Well im not sure myself tbh, I assure you its not too hard to check, there are a few GE database links in there already, just open one up and Search for the item you are interested, see if there is much difference between the figures I used in my guide... I hear a lot of them are still alive and kicking... things like Meat will not die out as there is always a Summoning-based market for them...

Tbh, I really think YOU dont get the point... Imagine this scenario for a second: Jagex makes a new Island called: Chazthemanisthebest Island The only way to get to this magical island which contains new Dragon trees where you get Dragon logs that can be made into Dragon longbows... Is to sail there... O wait a second, Jagex didnt give the Charter sailors an option to travel there... You would have to build ye own boat! But ye would need a sturdy boat to get to this island as there are rocks and... waves... So ye would have to level Sailing first to build a magnificent vessel! YeArr! Does that explain it? Anyway: That is how I would imagine sailing to work. Imagine spending a lot of money to get a good boat - This means one that can take a beating and can deliver a beating. Then you grab ye crew (You have to have friends for ye crew im afraid) and go and defeat some pirate scum! Then you could feel like risking your beautiful boat... in treacherous PvP waters!! Arrr! If anybody played Puzzle Pirates, and played the battle navigation minigame - that is how I imagine it would work...

Thanks for the compliments people =] Im working hard towards my next guide, I really want something which is unexplored, will not be nerfed, and I wont have to update it constantly! :lol: (good luck! =]) Well thank you for keeping the guide active, its about to reach 4k views I think, its just a pity that many methods have become useless so fast... Enough moping chaz!! Move on!

I wonder if this is a legitimate question, or are you just pointing out that the guide maker has not put the reasons one would want to do it... Either way, people suicide at DK to allow someone to solo Rex, without Prime or Supreme attacking them while they safespot Rex.

Im glad someone has finally made a guide on this, as it is extremely find a good one when showing a friend how to do it... Needs some sorting out though to be better. First of all, Cropping is definitely needed - Its seriously not hard at all! After you take your SS, open Paint and Paste. Then use the Box Tool to drag around the area you need evenly, and paste that into a second Paint, saving it wherever you want. Try to only include the bits that are actually needed, EG. Your inventory only, or the picture of the pressure pads+door only. Secondly, whats missing in most DK suiciding guides (And yours) is a good map which shows the way through the entire dungeon. You do not need full scale pictures, minimap ones will do nicely! Finally, I really suggest removing that Bin Laden rubbish, its not funny tbh (And i have a sick sense of humour) , it just makes you question your intellect. A guide with a comment which can possibly offend most people that read it is not going to be well recieved. Glad to see a guide on it though, good luck with improving it!

Great job with the spreadsheet. I didnt understand it at first as I couldnt work out whether deaths are taken into account - how many and where.. But great job anyway and nice introduction. A suggestion might be to look around for a previous guide about Tracking GE prices with Google Docs. Then you wont have an approximate figure as it updates itself every day! (Yay) Anyway :thumbup: :thumbup:

Great guide, especially for a F2p one. Tip: How about including the XP rates in the section relating to the monster, not just grouped near the end?

Fantastic Idea! Mind if I use these? =D TBH im pretty depressed by a Jagex Mod's attempt to make me look foolish... Someone has gone around, listed the money techniques of my guide, then periodically nerfed the GE price of them! This will definitely not get into AOW no matter the amount of my charming charisma :lol: Either way, thanks for the suggestion - Ill add it to my obsolete wreck of a guide... :(

The shop sells balls of wool, hammers, bronze nails, bronze axes, needles, thread, and knives. Im not getting into this again :lol: Either way, they sold and that is a good thing, I would have thought this guide obsolete already! Looks like I will have to start work on my next guide soon... -.- I swear I put in there something about GE price and checking before you buy. Ill just have to put it in larger font. Im sorry it has changed so drastically for you, I will change that one now, but I said I would not be updating the prices. It took me a few hours minimum collecting the info, imagining updating it every week and you are in my position! EDIT: I looked at the GE board, and it seems that this drop in price was not natural! It was in fact a nerf by Jagex is my best guess. Blast those meddling kids! They don't, they take into account how long ago you committed that offence and see if you have learned from it and see if you have changed in game. Heh, If only. But I have never met a mod (and im friends with a few) that has any blackmarks. [hide=Me Sulking]Anyway, its not that hard for me to learn from my wrongs: 1 BM for saying a URL (I was helping someone with the new quest (Catapult one) and I uploaded a pic as a guideline to the puzzle for him, and a mod reported me. I recieved my mute in the KBD lair with a trip =0. 0.1 BM for saying "Tell tail ..." (Which I seemed to think for some strange reason was an english saying -.-) LOL its blocked on here as well =D Not surprised i suppose...[/hide] I hid that so people dont have to see me whining, as that is not what this thread is for at all. I still think Jagex's customer support needs a drastic revamp. When I was playing WoW, it made my computer crash so I sent for their customer support. They told me all my drivers which were not up to date and step by step instructions to what they think I should do to fix it. It didnt work obviously, as im back here! (lol) Anyway the purpose of my story is that Jagex's customer support is not up to scratch! You cant even send them a query because of all the spammers asking for PKing back. Even though Jagex is not a multi-millionaire company, it is becoming one, and its customer relations need to improve as runescape does! How does this relate to mods you may ask? My opinion is that they are just another branch of customer support. A few casual players who are given a badge as a status of their knowledge and fairness.

They only need to analyse a few extracts from a regular day of theirs to find out more than they would from BMs Ill never be a mod with 1.1 BM =[

Well, I already explained myself above, but I guess thats just me. If you think you can organise it, you can take all of my information and sort it into a table. I wont use it though and I ask that you give me credit if you decide to make your own guide on it. Im trying not to be a jerk, I just get a bit -.- sometimes. Can you go into a bit more detail for me? It might be something I can improve on. I normally just write as I think - no planning or brainstorming. If the "spunky" style of writing is something of a downside to the guide instead of an upside, I might have to work to improve...

Ahh, no im afraid. That is the one thing which I refuse to do. You see, I was going to make a little note of it guide but it must have got lost in my sarcastic notepad document. Anyway, I will never add a section like that to any of my guides because they way I see it, greedy people want greedy money fast. If they cannot even take the time to read the entire guide which I put effort into making, I do not think they deserve to reap the best rewards. The chompies cant have gone from the shop! I went there when I wrote the guide! They are not in the meat section but in the general store.... The bow idea is good, ill put it in. (Its not rufus who is attackable, but the other fit babes) Yeh I mentioned about not adding Nardah in, I didnt know about the chocolate bars however so I have added it to my TO DO list.

Really? I thought it wasnt too hard to read. I guess thats just my opinion though =/ I did it all on notepad and I wasnt sure about the formatting of TIF with spaces and such, I didnt think the dashes were that bad, but If you do I will change them to commas as I do updates. Please dont expect an instant update - when I update a section I will update the commas, I also dont have too much time to spare for the next few weeks cause of exams =S
