I can remember a rollback... I was still f2p, i guess about level 30-40. I remember distinctly logging off, and back on to find myself about 40 mins behind time. I thought I was going crazy! I never found out how or why it happened as I was f2p and its hard to get information, dont remember reading an update about it. Either way, there has been rollbacks in the past (I wonder why), but I do not think they will do one now. 1. Its waay too late. 2. Dangerous minigames are dangerous. 3. People who gained items + skills > People who lost items

Yawn, not another closed minded opinion. Unlike some of the others however, this one has no stated reasons or explanations at all. So I address this to you in particular : If you heard of a suggestion for a skill that involved planting flowers, and growing fruits, would you think it a good idea? I am convinced you would have been one of the people - Farming sounds boring, whats the point of fruits when you have monkfish? Farming in fact is a complex skill which has many many uses including an (almost) guarenteed profit every 3 hours thanks to herb farming, Trees which enhance other skills (Herblore), and countless other improvements to the game. Do you honestly think that a skill in which you have heard only a name of, would automatically be boring and have no use? You people should actually listen to the suggestions of people and CONSIDER them before making a sarcastic, cynical attempt at witticism which, more often than not, fails epicly. I wont list the possibilities for Sailing, as many people have done so (unsuccessfully) previously, and although I think you would better appreciate them combined with good grammar, layout and persuasive writing, you should not dismiss a suggestion because of your pre-decided opinion of the idea. I havent seen many objections to the skill other than the basic two : Boring and Pointless. Maybe you can woo me over with some other reasons the skill wouldnt work instead of something so basic and (dare I say it) unintelligent. So maybe in the future one might agree to disagree, and leave their disapproval of the idea in a post in the thread, without returning to it every few hours to leave an extra dim-witted comment to further bump this flaming thread, and give yourself another undeserved post to your count. Sorry, I must be a bit dense because I dont understand: How on earth do Jagex change game content which will stop phishers? They already have the SoS to WARN the players of the dangers, but I dont see anything which will stop it. With RWT the simple solution was to stop trade - No trade = No RWT. How do you stop Phishing? Delete Runescape? No accounts = No stolen accounts through phishing. =D> Unless Runescape has some invisible control over the rest of the internet which I am not aware of, I dont understand your point.

Let this thread finish: Some people think Sailing would be a good idea. Most other people are too narrow minded, and do not feel Sailing would have any purpose. How are you attempting to clear your cookies? Via an option in Firefox or on the OS (Windows?) If it is windows, try clearing them via the disk cleanup option, and deleting all Temporary Internet Files. (Right click the disk drive and properties) I use Advanced Systemcare to clean out all my files and fix registry issues, if all else fails that might be able to help you. Hope I helped.

There are many conflicting beliefs here. Maybe there should be a poll to see who actually WANTS a cure for AIDS... Some believe it is essential to prevent overpopulation, (not doing a great job) others think it is too inhumane to value a human life such as a statistic. Others are debating about whether they think we should survive as a species in the first place. I personally think that a cure for HIV would be a good thing. Even with a cure, much of the third world countries will still have no access to the cure. Even now people die of measles and diarreah, when people in the MEDCs have easy access to medical care. This means that AIDS will always be a huge killer throughout the world, even with a cure. Overpopulation will always be a problem AIDs or no AIDS, and in the end the planet will be overrun by humans, whether it be in 500 years or 50000 years. Id just like to leave with an optimistic quote from The Oracle: "Everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo." I think its quite appropriate, we will all die eventually so who cares? :thumbsup: Note that I do not mean I do not care about AIDS, it is a horrible disease, and a cure would ease the suffering of thousands. I meant who cares about these philosophical debates.

I think I agree with the members of TET. I too would feel used If I put the effort in to these events like you guys do. It wouldnt be so bad if they hinted that Jagex might be planning something similar in the future... Fansites should be the ones who hold events, official ones will be just noobs spamming the jmods about various questions with easy answers. I saw Mod Raven in Arcanists, so took the opportunity to ask him about this, I asked if he remembered attending them, and then if he was doing it just for the ideas: Not sure If I believe him or not...
