Whoa! Overkill! Barrows is easy mate, I dont know why people keep recommending high melee stats when he shouldnt be using them at all? Take some mage armour and some ranger armour. Mage all the Melee brothers with protect melee on, (I really recommend slayer dart) Also mage Karil, his Mage defence really is not good. Range Ahrim with mage prayer. Bring a melee weapon, and get your KC up to around 10 as you go searching for ur brother/chest. Have fun, It will be costly as you are praying on every brother, but more importantly it will be fun! Give it a go and enjoy it, you can always go back when you are higher leveled, and who knows - you may get a great chest! Several times, infact. And Compfreak, from what I hear the quest isn't all that hard. As an above poster said, he/she completed it at 95 combat. I'd like to see proof that a 90-110 couldn't obtain a pair of claws themselves. If you can't, why bother posting? I can assure you that it is in fact, very easy. I killed the boss (and the 2 demons) using only 1 tuna potato, and im level 101 (No summoning). Then again, Jagex did release a notice about making the Balance Elemental slightly harder, even then I dont think the quest deserves its "Grandmaster" status =/ What about this nerf then? Im glad its been done, but can I have more info about it now please? What are the average hits with the claws spec now?

I really do not agree. (And wow thats a lot of threads) You are talking about a weapon which has 2 special attack chances, each one has the potential to K0 almost anybody other than those with 97hp or more, and even then the second spec will get them. IMO this spec is equal if not much better than the armadyl GS special attack which is priced at 60M. The special makes the 60m not the GS, seeing as Bandos GS is 18m, lets say the spec alone is about 45M? Either way, you only have to see a few BH D Claw vids to see how overpowered they are. I do not expect they will allow anybody but the utmost elite and rich to get these items, and the day the medium leveled semi-rich person gets the claws for 2m will be the day RS combat dies.

There seems to be some confusion here... Most people are talking about IG Clan chats, although i think the poster meant the IRC Chat from the main Tip.it site. I dont use IRC as its too much trouble to get into, and set up, and switching pages when playing... I usually just go into merch chat in game, its nice to observe the squabbling.

I cant believe you used the words "Runescape" and "Club Penguin" in the same sentence... Blasphemy! "Club Penguin" is to "Runescape" as "Slide" is to "Super Whacky Water Fun Slide" Seriously they are uncomparable. Although Club Penguin did try to get an empty niche in the market with the snowball thing, luckily Jagex got that one with the snowglobe event! :lol: For those who dont know, Club Penguin is a game for children under 10, where they click to move a penguin around, and say Boy or Girl? to each other, not wondering if they are talking to a 50 year old man, or why they are watching a cartoon penguin throw snowballs which do nothing to other cartoon penguins. PS. I play Runescape because I enjoy being better than a lot of other people who play, and I dislike not being better than a lot of other people who play. :P PSS. Nice memorable name! TIP....IT!!! Bam! (I like being bossed around) :lol: Its always had everything I have ever needed know about Runescape, and I prefer the quest guides over any other site hands down. (Although I wont need one ever again =D ) The calculators were always easy to use, and told me what I wanted (or didnt want) to hear. The theme is also quite simple instead of snotty spammy trash like some other websites.... *cough* Runehq *cough* The forums are always packed with useful and helpful guides, and most of the people here you can actually hold a conversation with for a few hours, without it dissolving into trash talk! The only things to pick at TIP...IT!!! , is 1) The Champions Challenge guide, I mean come on lets get some drop rates and advice on where to kill it? Really sorry, but I really cant understand some of this guide. :cry: It seems to be an interesting idea, but I have no idea what this idea is about, and how it works. I have deduced it involves making Holy Oil and using it on Magic Logs, but the lack of basic English grammar confuzzled me towards the end: Sorry but that is where I got lost ^^ Nice to see new guide writers in the making though =]

Okay, this thread has been dead for a few months, but I really need some help so I thought - whats worse, necroing a dead thread, or spamming by making a new one? You can decide! Either way, Im having serious troubles with animated GIFs. I have the AVI file I want as a GIF, cropped and edited exactly how I want it. No matter how I try however, it will not end up as a FLUENT animated GIF. I have tried numerous programs including Virtualdub, GIMP, Camtasia and im using GIF Movie Gear atm... As you can see im desperate... Whenever I compile the GIF, in any program, it comes out slow and choppy. I have tried tampering with frame rates, frame delays, frame numbers but I just cant get it to go nicely! I thought it may be just my Windows Photo Viewer which was making it look sluggish, but if I try to upload it on the internet, it appears as it is when I preview it! Help plz?
