  1. Oh dear goodness. That bakery obviously doesn't have decent hygien. Sue them!
  2. I always seem to find a new thing to try as long as I look for it, and I have been playing since 2004. I don't mind the element of repeatedly doing something to earn a level or so, it just ensures that I can continue playing and still have something left to do. As long as you play for the social interaction as much as for the game's many challenges and don't lose focus on having fun with friends, Runescape doesn't have to become a total "grindfest" even though almost everything in the game is without a doubt based on grinding. It has a lot to do with your mindset, but if you are bored while playing it doesn't hurt turning it off and doing something else for a while.
  3. Verac is a decent and cheaper alternative to a god sword, but it does not beat it as the set has low defence and the attack and max hit isn't all that high. I find it odd that you were not hitting very good with the godsword since you have close to maxed combat. Try them both some more and compare them. Sometime's it's just all about luck after all.
  4. I agree with many other posters on this thread that these sorts of relationships require a bit of caution if the subject of your new found love is a complete stranger. Of course, love in any way you find it is always a wonderful thing, that cannot be undermined. But be aware if you take the step and meet up in real life - which you may only do if you are a grown up adult and know what you are doing. In case you do, do this on a neutral place, like a café or other public space if you risk it at all. In most cases, people are honest and genuine and mean well, but those few who aren't could get you in massive trouble and that's why you need to be cautious especially while you are up in the pink fluffy clouds of love. :) So don't give out your personal details to someone on the internet, ever. If you do arrange meeting someone you do not know in real life, keep it anonymous and arrange it like as if it was a blind date. I myself have a girlfriend on Runescape, but I guess she doesn't count in that way as we met and had a relationship in real life quite a while before we started playing Runescape together. (You could read about it in my blog if you are curious. Click my signature.) We play Runescape as a way to enhance our relationship while we are away from each other. If any of you have a runescape relationship who read this, I wish you good luck and happy scaping! ;)
  5. Congratulations! You caught a RATTATA! \ The Pokémon was sent to BILL's PC.
  6. You post pics now, I tell you! Or else... I'll eat your blog!
  7. Whoa! I need to come barrows with you again and try my luck! You cannot get so many cool things without me being there, haha!

  10. I ate bacon for dinner today, what a coincidence.
  11. May the feather be with you, Perakp. ;)
  12. Tough work, eh? For me in college I instead have an endless amount of math problems to solve. Or work out semi-complex logics systems and constructing them on a test board. I love playing with the electronics and all that, but there is so much of all this endless math and physics involved, argh! Yup, college is hard work. More work than a full-time job even. I hope you are doing well in there! :)
  13. Slayer would be perfect in your case, using a black mask or slayer helmet. They give 15% bonuses to attack and strength while fighting your current slayer task. Combined with piety or your best melee boosting prayer and pots would mean most likely awesome xp!
  14. I would mind if an ad like that popped up on my screen. Partially because it's forced upon me and partially because my dear Linnea is the only one who I feel attracted to. Oh and more importantly, let's not forget about the large under-aged audience who play Runescape. I wonder if some of them would click the ad as well? "13 year old, looking for a serious relationship with a 20 year old woman. Will accept free stuff... pl0x?" Oh and fellow tifers: Let's not make stupid assumptions and flame each other. It's also a proven that for every normal website, there's 10 porn sites. I cannot remember where that figure comes from. I need to look it up again somehow. I believe it was based on statistics from Google, however.
  15. In a way, you could say that the difference in merchanting and price manipulation is the same as the difference between using a feature and exploiting it. So far, the consequences of all the price manipulation that has been going on are that they have created havoc and panic from time to time. Just look at the potion prices after the pk update plans were announced. Ranging potions, as naming an example I know, skyrocketed in price from around they're stable 1.4k to 4k over the course of a week or two. A lot of people were panicing in fear that potions would cost too much and be impossible to get which in turn raised the prices even more. If the stock market was as shaky as Runescape's pricing fluctuations, it would crash... fast.
  16. Only that fire cape, rune defender and slayer helmet isn't buyable. Bandos, Verac and Torag are overall good choices of melee armor. Dragon armor is ok in general and looks really good in all that red, but the stats will disappoint you when compared to Barrows or Bandos armor. Ahrim is great for magic training. You could also work your way to full void magic, but Ahrim is said to be more effective. Full black dragonhide, Armadyl armor and Karil are overall the best choice for ranging. In my opinion, however, the dragonhide is just as good as Armadyl and Karil while still only costing a few tenths of thousands as they all have pretty much the same ranged attack bonus. The difference lies mostly in their defences. If he's going to train ranged, tell him to use a crossbow as well. Really, it's far superior to bows.
  17. You will need a minimum of level 70 in most combat related stats apart from prayer, magic and summoning just to get into the lair. For example, you need level 70 in strength just to access the dungeon entrance, 70 HP to go to Zamorak's lair, 70 ranged to enter Armadyl's lair and so on. So, get level 70+ in all combats and then you can most likely try it out in a larger team (if they will let you).
  18. Apart from the horrible special attack, it's the best all-round melee weapon available, being with only a bunch of special conditions, it remains the most efficient weapon in-game. Since it is one-handed, fairly cheap and so accurate and strong for its speed it lands on #1 best universal weapon you'll find. Apart from all that, the price will probably remain low due to there being a constant amount of new whips going into the grand exchange with not enough new members to buy them all up which slowly brings the average price down.
  19. Anything that drops herbs is decent money. You could put them to use slayer, kill white knights or kill cockroaches. Of course it's not as fast money as killing dragons or other more high-end monsters, but they have to start somewhere, don't they? I can provide many ideas on monsters they could kill that are suitable for medium level players. :) It's nice to see how your children enjoys the game with such enthusiasm, haha! ;)
  20. IP or IP Adress stands for Internet Protocol. When you connect to the internet you are given an IP adress as an unique identifier to which computer you are on the global computer network that we call "the internet". I suppose if something happens simultaneously on Runescape, the person with the lower number on their IP is allowed to do something first - or at least that's what some may believe (I doubt it myself, however). An IP adress doesn't have to be static either, so you can change it as long as the IP adress is available.
  21. I remember training on white knights to be my favourite way to train back in the free worlds, but it has been quite a while since. Anything in the stronghold of security or the stronghold of player safety is quite awesome for training, however. You may want to go there and see what you can find. If you want to earn money for rune, you'll have it easily by killing cockroaches, by the way. Great money at your level!
  22. Ugh, I having everything I need but I feel so crazy ill every time I sit down to write on it that I can't write it as lightheartedly as I want and feel like doing it. I'll go to bed for now. I need to start taking better care of myself as my health has been declining a lot. Also, I'm clearly addicted to Runescape and it's taking over my life because I cannot control my urge to play... I guess in the bottom it is all due to being so madly lonely all day.
  23. You liked my emo-equipment bombing? :twss: The party sure was fun. :)
  24. Thanks for the axe split. Let's dk again soon!
