tried to duo and found this i like the update, this may mean soloing is finaly better on floor 1-25 rather than previously having to "rush 5:1" before if its 45% for 2:1 i wonder what 5:1 is? discuss

ive dunged with him, good guy i hope he does good but hes quite a bit bad so im still on zarfot aasiwat or s u o m i i do think he can be future #1 i do think he can be all 200m some day i dont think hell be first to all 200m so your right but for purpose of this thread its wrong too

earlier someone posted a seperate slayer bind, similar to ammo its seperate from your other binds but it lets you bind 1 slayer item, this would be great i think so i dont have to sacrafice 230 def for a blood necklace

sad on the solo thing, they said "hey soloers we havent forgot about you" and the only thing they can come up with is some uselss save progress option i think solo needs a few more options, i want ot be able to solo a medium or duo a large etc i do think adding a farming patch at the base would be good id like a 3rd item bind at 75 too but im glad theres something coming soon, and before batch 2 im hoping this in 2 weeks, batch 2 in 4 weeks i like the ring ideas, will speed up soloing if you put on berserker but i wondef if u can switch ring style mid dung? cuz then id use skiller for first 10 mins then berserker the rest and tactition on boss

he is right tho, my record solo is 3:56 but i average 6-8 minutes if i openevery room, i do about 5 mins if i just kill boss but thats only about 2.5k xp, getting every room gets me about 4k xp

Fastest way to 99 in each skill - spreadsheet
overloads are still the faster overall xp you can make any of the 4 other pots abuot 90% as fast as ranging, and you can make 1100 ovls per hour with zarfots method making 1.1m xp/h once theyre already made its about 600-700k xp/h total counting every step the fastest xp/h can be found on most of zarfots videos for skills, hes a bit famous for efficiency rather than grinding

Fastest way to 99 in each skill - spreadsheet
actualy crafting isnt dhide bodies, its gem cutting diamond are about as fast as blk bodys, and dstone are faster its actualy practical if you have a good cash stack, theyre easier to buy in bulk than you might think, you dont loose much money its actualy, you need tons of cash, but you dont loose alot of cash slayer is obvious, the "maxed setup" turm ovl cannon rapier etc fletching is a toss up based on your idea of practical between broad arrows, addy bolts, and some realy expensive ones like dragon darts herb is extreme mages for price probably, but ovls are fastest all forms of combat (beside mage) is slayer, because assuming you want to find the fastest way to "max out" any non slayer method leaves you with having to do 1-99 a second time around if u do slay after maxing combat id say sting ammy and plank make for mage, assuming you dont want to barrage skeletons, also ice wyrms are about 120k xp/h single combat. but must be on task agilty is barb couse, since agil brawlers dont grow on trees its most practical source mining is actualy granite, but you get most efficient, easy, and total xp/h off superheating as you mine concentrated gold wc is the sawmil minigame at about 100k/h however ivy is afkable but....the best overall xp source is teaks, you get about 90k/h but you get a bonous 30k fm xp from adze, although not as easy as ivy still pretty simple summoning wil be taken entirely care of if you get 99 slayer dungeoneering, kill bosses in daemonheim im sure if anyone doesnt knwo this they havent played in 2 months prayer is ourg bones, but dag bones are way cheaper and almost as fast, but the equilibrium is prob dbones between speed and cost, therefore dbones = most practical smithing is addy plates using a pack yak and the "make x option" farming is mage trees but however, torstol is 10k xp per run and can be done every 1-2 hours, and is huge profit so i prefer this over expensive mage trees any day, however calquat and pineapples daily = 40k xp for only about 150k, amazing if you ask me cooking is summer pies or wines zmi for rc, nat company is about 80k xp/h but died thanks to trade limits, btu it can be assisted for 30k xp per day so technicaly runners is still fastest con zombi impling jars to get those curved and long bones, its about 1.5m xp/h total and 3x the price of mahogany tables, which is about 800k/h, so yes its rediculosly expensive but as far as the skill itsself goes its just barely practical, however id stick with tables or dung doors fish is barb heavy rod fishing, feel free to alch or fletch between fish if your zarfot thieving is the new blackjackable things at guild at abtuo 300k/h hunter is black warlocks barehanded fm is mage logs, feel free to fletch between fires if your zarfot (ive personaly tried its not that bad, i can do it for 30 mins without risk if loosing a chunk of my soul) most of these are based off a mixture of math, my experience, and zarfots methods im pretty sure i listed the fastest for every skill many of the comments above are wrong, simply tell me if you dont think so and ill either prove this is faster or admit you have a better method, but so far reading these ive seen alot of common answers such as "dhide bodies" "armoed zombies" "dungeon doors" "pyramid plunder" so these are commonly believed fastest but they are not oh if someone posts "bandits" for melee can i please please please have permision to flame them for 1 post :pray:

i average about 4k per solo game on floors 1-25 (about 3k per at 1, 5k per by 25) and i do games in 5-8 mins so i can pull 30k xp/h soloing the noobiest floors, then i usualy duo with buds on med 26-30 then i go w117 and find a pro team for 31-25, i was aw 117 today and it seemed good enough as usual

i think batch 2 will bring new life to the skill, but hey i solo just fine and on weekends can do large games with friends, you dont necessaarily have to do it with 4 total strangesr, just get a group of friends i would actualy like it if there were rewards that took over 1m tokens to get, that would be great motivation as for the floor stsyem, in the early chaotic days there were people on f35 withing a week, even tho they were ranked about 1000 they had no prob finding teams, f15s had no prob finding teams with everyone new and spread out teams were still easy to get i do think an official world is needed, and to have portals similar to pc, just enter a floor and have 5 man lvl groups 3-40 41-70 71-100 100-130 130+ for all floors then prob solved if they get a packed official world

Unfortunately, the hexhunter bow is the only slayer item that may be worth binding (before level 100). blood necklace i'd never bind a blood neck over a promethium platebody :P too bad we just don't have more data on the hexhunter. I've seen sougazers, I'm just amazed that we've barely heard any word of it as a drop. oh i definately would, because the speed up kills, it heals you more than the plate would save you, and anyone with 99 smith would bind the necklace instead, if ur skiller stats are low maybe but blood necklace is awsome and the only neck in game, you can make your own armor but u cant get any other ammy slot, heck even blood + gorg plate owns prom plate also for rushing/soling/small dungs its best to have neck to boost offense and def doenst matter a lot except large 5 mans and "so im supposed to go to 100 without a plate or spear?" of course not! keep spear and plate but if u see a blood neck unbind the plate and bind the neck

Slayer - Why do you like it?
simple, it trains every combat related skill at once while accomplishing an addition skill, it also gives good money, has more variety, and most slaye spots are less crowded than traditional training spots also at a more in deapth look is the "wasted xp" if you go max combat but have like 70 slayer, well eventualy some day youll want to get 99 salyer, so to do that ull have to go and max combat all over again and do it a 2nd time, where if you had just slayed the first time around its half the work to max skills

Rune crossbow, really the best?
i honesly think there shuold maybe be a final elf quest to aces that crystal city and all, but its reward should make cry bow degrade all at once, but stay at full for all 2500 shots i also think it should be 100 range str too, you may say this would overpower it, but think about it rune cbow takes 61 range, nothing else crystal bow takes 70 range and tons of quests, maybe the 100 range str bow could take 75-80 range idk aldo as the bow degrades the range str stays at 70 right?

the msb surprised me considering the range def of dark beasts prob coulda told you knives/drats are best on low def slay monster, in fact the +40 dmg realy realy affects them because in the same time darts get about +100 dmg per rune cbows +40 dmg cuz of hit speed, +40 for insanely fast is way more usefull than occasional +40s oh and sseli, seriously who slays with diamond bolts, not a very valid test, and if it was you could then just add in drag darts and rune knives since they too are slightly expensive but even better than what he teseted

1. rune def is better than dfs, idk why you would argue that 2. most "pro slayers" use summoning also, anyone without an iron or steel titan isnt a true power slayer id add the cannon-o-holic like myself or perhaps a step above the pro slayer is the powerslayer who uses everything for speed, we cannon tasks even in single combat just for that boost of speed no matter how much people say "waste of money" id also add the "pray everything" this guy uses either prossy + sw, bandos + sw, or prossy + fc and simply prays + turmoils every single task he does, not necesarily powerslaying but simply prayer for everything, this guy will argue prayer > eating food or using bunyip

New Pures
i thinks its backwards, i think rapier is best for pues because assuming they fight other pures, the dps is much greater meaning since their def is 0 basicly, the rapier out damages the maul any day however on mains, the maul we know is the most accurate with 167 crush attack alone, so against someone with 90 def in full rune i think maul might out damage the rapier

Purpose of the Strange Power
one of the journals shows thok or bilrach or someone reaching the bottom and it said something along the lines of "ive finaly found whats at the bottom, something powerful enough to emit its power across planes" meaning something powerful enough to release a surge of "power" across runescape i personaly hope this boss isnt a [kitty] like the rest of the bosses are, seriously not 1 single boss is high lvl or hard, in 5 man 130+ this better be lvl 700+ and tough i dont mean loads of annyoing effects, but abilitys that make it harder like nomads differant attack, not annoying like plane freezer or stomp

still bring rune def with you, although its rare, there are still 138s with max gear, claws, rune def, and cls and spec pots who will crash anyone, heck after yak runs out naruto still brings steel titan with him, hes 2/3 till chaotic i cant wait to see him wreck later
