chewed bones
Brutal greens do drop mangled bones, which presumably is the source of the confusion.

Farming - does the level matter?
Doesn't increase yields either. Farming levels allow you to plant new things, but the old things are always the same no matter what level you are. Thank you, I'll switch to torstol directly when I can : Actually, since farming level doesn't matter except to plant new crops, it follows that you should probably plant whichever herb is most profitable and not worry about the experience, since by the time you could plant torstol you can already plant everything and further level-ups don't help you.

Magic Logs
Eucalyptus beats yew for cash and for xp. And yews are slower cash than magics.

No, the death rate is the same for your plants regardless of your farming level. A level 99 farmer will lose their potatoes to disease just as often as a level 1 farmer.

Soul Wars Grarg!!!!
A problem, maybe, but not one that has anything to do with Soul Wars. Like I said, the combat system is the same there as it is everywhere else. :notalk:

Slayer..
Well no, because you'd get the same drops at the same speed. :?

~ Troacctid's Woodcutting Guide ~
+2 woodcutting isn't really noticeable for any tree anyway. The real point of the beaver is to forage stuff. Terrorbirds aren't useful at magics because banking is so fast compared to cutting that inventory space isn't much of an issue. So I'd actually recommend a fruit bat (or magpie if your summoning is too low), since it forages better stuff than a beaver. As for chop speed, it does increase as you level...just not by much, since it's so slow to begin with.

Slayer..
We are, and that depends on whether or not you place value on Slayer experience, and what your goals are. If you could care less about Slayer and you never plan on training it, go kill some dragons. If we're comparing green dragons to camping spiritual mages, then slayer experience doesn't enter into the equation, because when you camp spiritual mages, you don't get slayer experience. If I recall, the subject came up because it was claimed that spiritual mages are a reward that makes training slayer worth it, because you can fight them once you get to a high enough level. And since the rewards are so good, it's worth going for the slayer experience so you can eventually kill spiritual mages. However, the trouble with this line of thinking is that even with level 1 slayer, you can go to green dragons and make faster money than if you were killing spiritual mages, so the reward isn't very exceptional at all. (Actually, since this topic is about ranged slayer, aviansies would probably be a better comparison, but then again, chances are you'd be killing the mages with melee anyway, so maybe not.)

Slayer..
You don't get slayer experience from camping spiritual mages. #-o Obviously. Slayer experience in itself, not experience gotten from mages. I thought we were talking about whether green dragons are better than spiritual mages.

Slayer..
Well no, not the same. If Spiritual Mages are worse for cash than green dragons anyway, then it's not exactly worth the trouble so much, is it?

Soul Wars Grarg!!!!
Well in those cases you can bury bones to restore your avatar's level, I guess.

leaf-bladed sword spike?
I don't know if you knew this, but people were buying it for nearly 1m with junk the first week it came out. 80k is hardly anything compared to that. ;)

That would crash farming and Herb (more then it already is) I think jagex made a oppise instead of when u pick the flower it was supposed to when u harvest your alloment but i could be wrong Even if they did protect herbs, it'd only make herb farming about 11% more profitable. Remember that only 1/10 herb plants die anyway, so going from 90% to 100%, while significant, is hardly enough to make everything crash. And if you stopped using supercompost, it wouldn't even increase your profits because of the reduced yields. Besides, relatively few herb farmers will have done the Falador hard tasks anyway; the requirements are fairly demanding.

Soul Wars Grarg!!!!
Well, the combat system in Soul Wars is no different from the one in Castle Wars, Clan Wars, Fight Pits, PvP worlds, or anywhere else, so I don't know what to tell you. If you can't effectively kill the other team members, then you can always play the supporting role and collect shards, bury bones, set up barricades, or heal your teammates with bandages.

what happens if you die with a barrowed equip on?
For borrowed items? Correct. For barrows items? You're talkin' crazy talk, man.

White Lillies
Going to correct myself. It's probably cheaper to pay the farmer with a basket of apples (I do strawberries) and plant marigolds. Marigolds sell high. It'd actually be even cheaper just to supercompost the strawberries and let 10% of them die. :geek:

How do Prayers, Potions, and Slayer Helmet stack?
The dragon slayer gloves also stack with everything else (Jagex had the foresight to realize that if they were going to be used by slayers, they'd need to work with the black mask bonus) so you're good to go to use all of those things at once--they'll all stack together. Salve ammy + black mask is a no-go though.

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
Ken eats low nachos, or whatever it was. I don't support the removal of rares. It would be too disruptive. It's far too late by now for any of your proposed solutions to be effective. Perhaps if the change had occurred earlier on, before the prices inflated so massively, it would be plausible, but to make them available to everyone by this point would simply be unfair to players who paid so much for them, and to reimburse those players in cash would heavily disrupt the economy. No, better to let them stay rare. The Grand Exchange seems to have muted their tendency to rise consistently with time, so it is unlikely the problem will get too much worse. The best way to deal with them is to release new hats that also look cool, so that new players don't need to wear 'em. Increasing the availability of old untradable holiday items is an idea that has some more merit, and if Jagex chose to implement the idea in some form or other, I would stand by the decision.

Nice places to level 99 attack!
I might point out that you can use NPC contact to redeem penguin points from anywhere, which saves you the trouble of keeping a lamp if you want a secluded spot.

You don't even need to kill the mole yourself...the claws and skins are tradable. :

Fishing/Money question
Monkfish are your best bet. Definitely superior to sharks. Although I would point out that if you're aiming to use your last days of membership to benefit you in f2p, your best bet is probably to train agility, since the run restoration will carry over into free worlds.

Jagex Should Use Youtube
That would be even more epic than the video of the guy killing Jad with only rings of recoil and no prayer.

No more video adverts?
If more ads = more revenue = always good for us, why stop at video ads? Jagex could put advertisements in the member's version of the game as well. Even more money. And it's not disruptive enough to be much of a sacrifice, right? I take it you would support such an action, or is an ad only a good thing if you don't have to look at it?
