:::: 99 SKiLLS - THe FaCTS ::::
I don't know if you realized this, but you can make money with cooking and fletching too. Even firemaking...haven't you heard of Shades of Mort'ton? :ugeek: That's a stupid example, because 99 fm doesn't matter in the least--you'll burn logs just as effectively at level 20. And if the skill didn't exist, then you just wouldn't need a level to light logs. Nobody says firemaking is easier than cooking. You can make more money with cooking than with woodcutting. In fact, you can make more money buying bananas from the charter traders in Catherby than you can make cutting magic logs at 99 woodcutting with a dragon axe, so woodcutting is actually rather useless. Your opinions are wrong. Do you not notice that you ranked woodcutting at the top, but fishing on the bottom? I don't know if you realize this, but you train them exactly the same way. And you thought slayer and summoning were the same as ranged and magic? Dude, no, that's just not true. :shame: If you think that, then you need to stop being stupid, because stupidity is an unfortunate choice of lifestyle. Cooking is a far more effective moneymaker than most other skills, and even at its fastest it takes more than 30 hours of training and over 25m gp, which for most people is more than 60 hours of moneymaking. Don't be a n00b. :shame: You're on the right track, and I'd agree with you, except that time and money can be combined and that usefulness doesn't really have much to do with difficulty. (If it motivates you, then that's already factored into enjoyment.)

Yew Tree Question
Nah, it's not worth the payment. Supercompost ensures a 90% success rate on all plants already; just use that.

How long does it take to string 350k flax?
It's a waste of time. Don't. Just sell the flax back for more than you bought it.

Goutweed Collection
You mean the minigame? All you need to do is sneak past the troll guards to the goutweed without letting them see you. It's not really worth doing after the quest, though.

how long does haunted mine take?
Haunted Mine is pretty short if you use a quest guide. Not too long. And once you beat Tarn, you can just take his diary and use it on the salve ammy to enchant it. Remember to take multiple crystal shard thingies the first time you do the quest, so that if you lose your salve ammy, you can have a spare without having to go cut a new shard.

Spirit of Summer.
No, you really want the salve ammy (e) here. Think about it this way. You could get it now, or you could get it later. Either way, it'll take the same amount of time to obtain, but if you get it now, you can start using it sooner, whereas if you get it later, you'll have wasted all this time you spent using a glory instead. Other than that, your setup is perfectly fine. The ring slot isn't really very important here tbh. You could just as easily use a ring of duelling to teleport away afterwards...they have a max of 5, so you're not very likely to die. So don't worry too much about that.

Gettin fast junk...
Best way to get junk is to buy something in a junk trade. For the most part, anything else tends to be a waste of time that could be better spent earning real gold. You should either wait for the GE price to go up, or else do a direct trade for another undervalued item like d claws.

Spirit of Summer.
Ghostly Warriors are one of the best combinations of profit and xp available for melee training. The reason bunyips and Guthan's are so highly recommended is because they allow you to camp there for extended periods of time; however, you can survive fine on regular food if you're willing to bank more often. It's worth doing the quest, although with 70 prayer you may prefer armoured zombies. You should wear standard melee gear with salve ammy: Helm of Neitiznot > Zerker helm Salve ammy (e) > Salve ammy Barrows gloves > dragon gloves > regen brace > combat brace Bandos plate > Guthan's/Torag's/Dharok's plate > Granite plate Bandos tassets > Torag's/Dharok's/Verac's legs > D skirt/D legs Dragon boots > rune boots > climbing boots Zerker ring > warrior ring > ring of wealth > Jennica's ring And you should use super att/str potions--the faster kills will easily pay for the cost of the pots, just in the drops. Remember to bring Jennica's Ring and a lockpick or you can't access them. Bring alch runes as well for the steel plates. Whip and defender are preferred, or sara sword > d scimmy for strength training. If you don't have salve ammy (e), it's worth getting.

Strength Training: Weapons
...Because you can sell it back again and not lose any money at all?

The guide to which herbs to plant, now fully automated!
Two bits of news. First bit: Toadflax has been on top for a while, but recent shifts have left ranarr and snapdragon on top, followed by kwuarm, with toadflax back at #4 again. Herb farming in general also seems to be experiencing a [bleep]e in profitability as many herb prices rise, perhaps due to quest capers raising their herblore for While Guthix Sleeps. It's a very dramatic change; I expect they'll fall again in the near future, though. Until then, you should be able to sell at max for a while, so farm your heart out! Second bit: More relevantly, I've tinkered with my spreadsheet, and you can now find a new version that includes every herb. Whereas the original provides an at-a-glance check of which herb is best, this new one ought to give you the whole picture, albeit a little more cluttered. Happy harvesting!

Strength Training: Weapons
Saradomin Sword is unquestionably the best weapon for training strength.

Be's guide to Farming!
I usually bring a ring of duelling for banking. Saves the trouble of tailoring the run especially for it.

Farming to 65...
If you want them to die. Farming level doesn't affect death rates.

With today's economy, 100 deaths VS herbs
You need to be outside for it to forage. So if your slaying in a dungeon, they wont get you anything. You're thinking of the herbcall, I bet.

Be's guide to Farming!
I see a few spots for improvement. First, the glory teleport to Draynor is not nearly as fast as the Explorer's Ring 3 teleport to the cabbage patch. Second, zaaps has already noted a faster tree route, although I would add that you can charter a ship to travel between Catherby and Brimhaven as well. And third, you should save your screenshots as .png instead of .jpg, for better image quality. Otherwise, looks accurate to me.

runecrafting double astrals
Well, here's what Zarfot said about it in his runecrafting guide on the RSOF. This guy usually knows what he's talking about, so I'm willing to take his word for it.

Green Charm Hunting
Out of curiosity, why do you need green charms and not crimson? If there's a specific pouch you need, couldn't you use crimsons to train and buy the pouches off the Grand Exchange? Crimsons are always better than greens to hunt for.

what monster hits low dmg, have high hp and have good drops?

New to Mems
Do lots of quests. I especially recommend Lost City, Fairy Tale Part 1, and Fairy Tale Part 2. (You can still start Fairy Tale Part 2 if you don't have the levels.) Doing those quests unlocks fairy rings, which are the largest, most extensive transportation network in the game. They really make the world a lot smaller. Plus FTP1 gives you a nice chunk of experience to get you started in farming. And of course, Lost City lets you wield dragon daggers and longswords.

HOW do you obtain a blessed gold bowl after Legend's Quest?
Perhaps you could find someone else who's doing the quest, and get them to use the Bull Roarer for you?

Elite armor
It's listed in the in-game defence skill guide as requiring 40 defence.

With today's economy, 100 deaths VS herbs
Macaws are terrible foragers. I've gone whole pouches without foraging a single herb. Then again, kittens are also terribly slow. Might I recommend a magpie?

harpooning question
barbed > normal > handfish No clue where SC fits in there, never used one. False. They're all the same.

Farming Advice?
The best way to start training farming is to do Fairy Tale Part 1. It has no farming requirement, and the experience you get will bring you high enough to start planting oak trees. From there, just plant your best trees and fruit trees in every patch, and your best herbs in every patch. You can also optionally plant allotments and flowers. Always use supercompost on everything you plant, with the exception of poison ivy bushes and any tree you're paying the farmer to watch. And don't make the newbie mistake of standing around to watch your crops grow.

~ Troacctid's Woodcutting Guide ~
I got about a half hour of testing on magic logs.
