  1. Technically, dragon bones on a gilded altar is just the most efficient method. The fastest method would be to use Ourg bones and get nearly double the experience. But I digress. If you manage to get brawling gloves for prayer as a drop in a PvP world, then you can go to the wildy in a PvP world and bury your big bones there. If you do, you'll get a big xp bonus. Alternatively, you can wear them outside the wildy in a PvP world for a smaller xp bonus. But brawling gloves are a random drop and not especially common, so they're impractical as a long term training strategy. =;
  2. It's not fair to expect another player to hop worlds just because you want them to. If you're willing to train in the same spot as someone else, fine. If you insist on having the spot to yourself, then you can hop, instead of bugging the other person. If they don't mind sharing the spot, and you do, they're not the one with the problem. Courtesy has nothing to do with it.
  3. They're more useful for casting spells at a lower level, like enchantment or teleport spells.
  4. Waterfiends.
  5. Magic shortbow. But a rune crossbow is better than both of them.
  6. Try typing legibly. I'm having a hard time deciphering what you're trying to say. But after Recruitment Drive you can change your respawn point to Falador.
  7. If you mean the quest that lets you use Edgeville Home Teleport, that would be Desert Treasure. If you switch to the Ancient Magicks spellbook, then your home teleport will go to Edgeville instead of Lumbridge.
  8. Spirit Graahks are faster. Yeah, I thought of doing this. Didn't I mention it? I could swear I did...the nice thing is that you also get to craft a load of nats on the way. I haven't tested it at all though.
  9. I wouldn't be impressed by either one. Level 1 is unimpressive, and level 20 is just as unimpressive. Try level 70.
  10. Use controlled so that you don't need to use a less efficient weapon.
  11. Those results at 97 with a beaver seem to match mine at 99 without one, which would appear to indicate not a very dramatic difference in woodcutting xp when using the adze at higher-leveled trees like eucalyptus. Interesting. Thanks. Thank you. :
  12. I tried this spot and liked it very much. I was getting somewhere in the 70-80k exp/hr range (with my 83 att/str and 70 prayer), I think, but it wasn't a very formal test, since I broke halfway to put the laundry in the dryer. ;) It's pretty great to be able to get that kind of xp without giving up on profit and charms.

Spend 7.5m extra to avoid spending 75k extra? That makes a lot of sense.

Actually, the cheaper version of Bandos is Barrows armour, and it's better than dragon.
  15. It'll be significantly worse. None of the barrows weapons are really any good for waterfiends. Sara sword/Zammy spear > Godsword > Barrelchest anchor. You should be able to easily sell back the z spear when you don't need it, though. And if you got a Sara sword, I'm sure loads of people would pay you to borrow it.
  16. Really? Wow... And I see somebody wasn't Summoning before Batch 2. 1 Super set, 5 P pots, and monks. Ive had both, ss hits 36s for my, spear tops out at round 35, but you could be right. [/hide] Yeah, it has a lower max hit. But doesn't it have a higher crush? Can't check right now... Zammy spear has more attack, but less strength. Sara sword has more strength, but less attack. They end up being around equal, at least in that any difference between them is too small to be noticeable.
  17. I'm fairly confident that you could achieve good rates at Ape Atoll once you're in the upper 60s. But until then, either the Wildy or Werewolf course is best...I'm not positive which.
  18. Fishing via monkfish, woodcutting via eucalyptus, or hunter via carnivorous chinchompas.
  19. Ghostly Warriors? They're undead, and they drop lots of chaos runes to keep you going longer, plus a whole bunch of other runes and alchable steel armour that should make a good profit. I mean I don't know if training with Crumble Undead is a great plan in the first place, but that seems like a decent spot for it I suppose.
  20. Sorry to burst your bubble, but ankous are only good because you can use a salve ammy (e) on them for +20% attack and strength. Tbh, you'd be better served if you got over your little hatred of quests, because you need them for all the best training methods. The best thing a new member can do is lots of quests. But as far as that 7m goes, you should buy a whip first thing.
  21. No, 5 is the minimum. The average is 6-7. Snapdragon and kwuarm are approximately on even footing. Snaps will have a huge advantage if you get a big harvest, but they also have a huge disadvantage if you get a death, and the two tend to balance each other out for the most part. However, if you don't already have the seeds in your bank, it's worth noting that snapdragon seeds are much more stable in their price today. Kwuarm seeds recently made a huge peak and are diving back down again, so it's probably not a good time to buy them today. The mechanics of the Grand Exchange mean that herb and seed prices can fluctuate from day to day. As such, it's impossible to flatly recommend snapdragon over kwuarm (or vice versa) all the time and be right about it. They're currently both among the top 3 herbs to plant today, so you should feel good about either one. Myself, I switch between kwuarm, snapdragon, and toadflax.
  22. Turoths are quite profitable, between all the herbs and runes and alchs they drop. I'd definitely consider them worth doing. I don't have much experience with Kurasks, though.
  23. You have a point. 2000/16=125 So if u have 125 people all using d bow spec with d arrows -> instant kill If they were all to 3 item the beast, its free cash, with 0 risks. Now organising it would be hard, but im sure we have that many tip'ers with d bow. 125 people is what we would need if everyone hit the minimum damage. Presumably not all the specs are going to be double 8s. Double 8 IS the minimum damage. Yeah, exactly, so you probably don't need all 125 people.
  24. You're thinking of the ancient warriors' armour. Corrupt dragon only lasts 30 minutes.
