  1. Don't you keep it on death? Not if you decide to kill anyone who tries to chop your trees.
  2. Looks like it's time for me to retract my stuff about the rune axe. I'm not sure I'd want to go risking a dragon axe in a pvp world. I'm going to need to talk about brawling gloves now, too. Drat. Revision. :x I'll do it later. Oh, and gratz kirby.

That's not true. You cannot catch 500 lobsters in an hour no matter what your fishing level. And the amount of people at a spot doesn't affect how fast you fish. I've also heard that no matter how many people are there, you'll catch the same amount as if you were the only one there. The spots move around randomly. Technically, there's a greater chance of getting a whirlpool, but that's small enough not to extend out of the standard variation.

  5. I beg to differ. *has sold 65k eucs within a week* Eucalyptus logs are 60 gp less than yews right now. That's pretty significant, and there are plenty of firemakers who want in on that.
  6. Wha? Huh? Is this something that isn't listed in the familiar's Game Guide description? More specifics pl0x? :-k
  7. Cursed magic logs give 275 base experience for chopping them, so the max woodcutting experience in one interval should be something close to 281.875...I don't know how the game rounds it.
  8. Correction: Bandos Chestplate > Fighter Torso. Also, your hide tags don't need to be spaced so far apart. Compare: [hide=Hidden stuff]Hidden stuff[/hide] [hide=More hidden stuff]More hidden stuff[/hide] That's how you have it. Here's how you should have it: [hide=Hidden stuff]Hidden stuff[/hide][hide=More hidden stuff]More hidden stuff[/hide] Saves scrolling. Anyhoo, it's not bad.
  9. Best way is buying prayer potions. It's cheaper than making them.
  10. But aren't teaks faster? And for WC and Smith I'm looking for very fast as I hate those two skills. Willows are about 30k an hour. That's slower than eucalyptus at that level, and eucs are 396 gp each. Teaks are way better than willows, no matter what you do with them. Drop, burn, parcel, or even teleport away to a bank, teaks are going to be better than willows.
  11. No, it's not worth it. The functionality of the skill ends far before level 99. The bulk of the money you spend is only going towards objects with no value to gameplay beyond their appearance. The last object you can make that gives you any sort of advantage is the level 84 Mahogany Telescope, for finding shooting stars. The rest are either solely decorative, or only functional in dungeons, and they all tend to cost massive amounts of money to make.
  12. Really? I like black demon tasks. They have great charm drops.
  13. Do ghosts a ahoy (which requires priest in peril). The bank is only a click away. The only other requires a lot more quests... I would recommend you try a round or 2 at castle wars. The furnace on Neitiznot is better. (Partial completion of Fremennik Isles required.) You should still do Ghosts Ahoy though, because you get a nice handy ectophial.
  14. You can kill babies if you want. Edit: Rofl, did I just say that?
  15. You need to do a lot more quests. Keep questing. In addition to those mentioned above, try Fairy Tale Part 1 and 2 to unlock fairy rings. (You don't need to train your stats all the way up for the demanding skill requirements of part 2, you can just go halfway through and get the bulk of the reward.) Fremennik Trials would be a good plan too.
  16. Troacctid replied to jimbean35's topic in Help and Advice
Do Fairy Tale Part 1. It has no farming requirement, so the exp reward should get you to somewhere around level 17 or so, and you'll get Magic Secateurs, which are an essential tool for farming.
  17. "Cost efficient" is measured in part by your income. For example, if you can make 800k gp/hr, it's going to be more cost-efficient to go with a faster powertraining method, because the time you save by spending extra money is more than the time it would take you to make back that money. But that isn't going to be true if you can only make 170k gp/hr. So it is a subjective thing. We gotta know your income to give you a good answer.
  18. I think the best crush weapon for training against waterfiends in Accurate mode is the Barrelchest Anchor, but tbh the Zammy Spear is just better, so you should just go with defensive or controlled.
  19. Elysian doesn't drain prayer. Only Divine does that.
  20. The advantage of being verbose, of course, is that qualifying a statement makes it more difficult to refute. For example, I can easily counter your assertion by citing the example of a player whose membership has run out, and can no longer use a dragon axe or inferno adze. They would be smart to use a rune axe for their woodcutting, as long as they are confined to a free world, and certainly not an idiot. (Well, not necessarly anyway. ;) ) Besides, you have to admit that is rather rude. :shame: Your assertion ought to be qualified, as I did with the relevant question in the FAQ. Some people are not members, some people are not 61 woodcutting, and some people honestly will say "I don't care and I will play the game my own way, so screw you and your advice." I have no problem even with the last group of people, so long as they don't mistakenly believe that it won't slow them down to use a rune axe.
  21. Bring a knife with you, and when your inventory is full, use the knife on all of your fish to gut them. When you gut the fish, you'll get fish offcuts, roe (from trout and salmon only), and caviar (from sturgeon only). All three of those can be used as bait--the offcuts are stackable, but the roe and caviar are not. So what you do then is you use up the caviar and roe as bait, and your inventory will empty on its own as you fish. Bear in mind that you'll use up any other bait you have before the game lets you fish with roe and caviar, so you'll need to drop your fish offcuts. You can usually get over 50k exp/hr in this way. It's also possible to bank the caviar with teleport jewellery, since it is fairly valuable. (Roe, by contrast, is worthless.) I've never tried that and I don't know much about it, sorry to say. My hunch is that it's not worth doing, but I could be wrong on that.
  22. You can (and should) use the Wilderness course as soon as level 47. A summer pie can boost your agility by 5 from there, which is enough to get in and start running laps. You don't need 52 agility for the obstacles in the course, you just need it to get into the course in the first place.
  23. Fly fishing is NOT the fastest fishing experience. The fastest experience is heavy rod powerfishing at Baxtorian Falls for leaping trout/salmon/sturgeon, and it is not only faster experience in fishing, but it also gives experience in cooking, agility, and strength, and is a far more efficient choice.
  24. I like how you always reply to a thread just saying what others have already said, without adding anything :|. If you're not a pure and/or maxed, just using a whip on controlled is the best. If yes, just follow what troacctid said. I have seen so many people claiming that controlled training is the best method, but only attack and strength increase the rate that you get xp, so wouldn't training attack and strength up individually and then training defense while you have a higher attack and strength be faster than training all three at a slower rate? It would be, except that in order to train strength on its own, you need to use a weaker weapon.
  25. Yup, I already said that. Third sentence of the "Axes" section.
