  1. Sure, no problem. Here's the main ones, although there's more on the first couple pages and I also responded to Erewhon's more recent post earlier.
  2. Might as well curse them, it's better xp...
  3. First off, not sure why you're using the highest price, since the average price for all 3000 is actually more like 57 each. Second, you can fletch broad bolts while doing other activities and not lose any time at all. You can bring them while thieving and fletch while stunned. You can fletch them as you run around an agility course. You can even fletch them in between attacks during your slayer tasks and not lose any speed (except for the three inventory spaces). Effectively, the time spent fletching them is very near zero. With that in mind, it's absolutely worth it to fletch them.
  4. Well, you haven't completed Haunted Mine or Tarn's Lair, so you don't have access to the Salve Ammy (e). It would be a good idea to get both of those done, because the Salve Amulet is one of the most valuable tools in the game for training melee. The 20% boost against undead allows you to get some pretty damn fast xp, as well as impressive profit. I strongly suggest completing both the quest and the miniquest. The best undead monster to fight would be armoured zombies; however, without access to piety or chivalry, they're considerably less impressive, so unless you train your prayer up more, probably suboptimal choices. If you want some money, you could do pretty well fighting Mighty Banshees--good xp with nice profit. They're only really viable if you've unlocked the ability to make slayer rings (you could craft them with assistance). Aberrant Spectres are good xp with very impressive profit as well, although again far better with slayer rings, and you'd need a higher slayer level. (If you got the 60 slayer, slayer rings, a slayer helm, and a macaw, it wouldn't be far-fetched for you to make upwards of ~400k gp/hr profit there.) Ghostly Warriors would be available to you if you do Spirit of Summer; they give nice xp and ~200k gp/hr worth of drops pretty consistently, all stackable or alchable so that you can camp there for a long time if you want. Ankous are also good money and good xp without any further requirements besides the Salve Ammy (e). And of course, slayer is fine as well.
  5. Lets not start with the troll comments again. You do a pretty good job of this type of thing yourself, for which I pulled you up on but you blatantly ignored. I'll still answer points if people sidetrack so have a go at them for doing it and not continue your little obsession with me. I'm not going to engage you until you're ready to debate legitimately. I gave you the benefit of the doubt at the beginning of the thread, and your posts quickly deteriorated into ad hominem nonsense (like this one I'm quoting) and blatant non sequiturs.
  6. Why are you guys even discussing this? I've been raising all these definitions and contentions throughout the thread that nobody has bothered to even try and refute, and you've let a troll sidetrack you into discussing why low-level players have no idea what they're talking about? Even after creating an entirely new separate thread for it? So. Let me get this straight. My argument doesn't count because I have high levels. Quelmotz's argument doesn't count because he has low levels. Did I get that?

Do you even play Arcanists? If theres even a little gap behind you someone can flight drop a shock bomb onto you, then you're watered. Granted its hard to win a game just by shock bombs unless your opponent is stupid, but it isnt impossible, some maps just come with it. There is no map I can think of where it is possible to shock bomb somebody off the edge every turn no matter where they teleport, even if they don't hide underground. You know, Troac, there's really no point telling me i'm wrong. I've played since it started and im sure you've played long enough too, and it is the truth. The game is full of noobs doing whatever they can. Anyway if you cant get shock bombed, you'll get MBd or frost sharded/brine bolted which all do their share of damage, unless of course you're underground. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying PBPProductions is wrong. Flight + Shock Bomb is probably a little overpowered (and pretty much the entire reason why I run Zero Shield), but I think that's more an issue with Flight than Shock Bomb, wouldn't you agree?
  8. I would fully support a decision to go get a quest cape.

If they shoot it even when you're unbombable, they're being a n00b for wasting their turn, no? The people not avoiding it can be forgiven the first time and maybe even the second time, but if they're repeatedly getting hit by shock bombs even after knowing it's in their book and getting the chance to position themselves, it's their own fault. Shock Bomb is a powerful spell, but it's ridiculous to say that it can carry a spellbook on its own. Nobody can just shock bomb for a whole match and realistically expect to win because of it.
  11. They stay together with joints. Apparently oak, teak, and mahogany planks are strong enough to do that.
  12. Buying vials daily is a good way to earn some easy cash. If you go nowhere else, buy at Shilo Village and the Lighthouse general stores--they have the largest stocks. Buying unfinished broad bolts is pretty profitable as well. If you do all those, it's an easy few hundred k a day.
  13. I would like to see you get 99 Ranged, Smithing, Crafting, and Runecrafting without buying your materials. Some skills just have to be bought. That's because of the current state of the game. If mining was made less "sucky" so it could supply ores to smithing better, more people would get the ores for smithing themselves. Same for runecrafting, crafting and ranged. On the contrary, if mining could supply ores more easily, more people would train mining, which would lower prices, which would make it easier to buy ores for smithing, which would cause even more people to buy ores for smithing. Not that anything is wrong with that. It's perfectly acceptable and healthy for people to buy materials when training a processing skill. Now, if instead it became more efficient to process the items you collect yourself as opposed to banking those items--for example, in the Blast Furnace, where the anvils next to the furnace make it efficient to smelt bars yourself before smithing them--then you'd see some change. It's possible to make activities more efficient together than they are apart. Another good example is the old method of f2p runecrafting where you bring essence to the air altar in between runs to the Crafting Guild to mine for gold; since the altar is on the way, you lose less time compared to doing either activity on its own.
  14. I can't confirm anything, but it seems incredibly unlikely that monkeys would drop a challenge scroll for skeletons, even if they are monkey skeletons. They're monkeys.
  15. RSC Relaunch! I want to train magic, because I despise not being able to teleport. The trouble is that there is no runecrafting in Runescape Classic. 1. I assume I need to get runes from the rune shops, right? Aubury and Betty and whatnot? So I need cash. How can I get cash without having to trade? (I hate trading, and everyone else is too nooby to have cash to trade me anyway.) When I was a noob I remember going to Falador and mining and smithing in the Dwarven Mine and selling the stuff to the store (haha), but that would be harder with the three turns of combat before I can flee from the scorpions. 2. I also assume I'm going to need to use combat magic. Does Classic have elemental staves and autocasting? 3. Once I do get to some reasonable magic level, where can I get law runes? Please tell me there's some way other than monster drops...
  16. Strength bonus is not especially helpful at Vyrewatch, as your max hit against them is capped. You can never hit them for more than 25. So if you can hit 25 unpotted, you can just ignore strength bonus and focus on prayer, defense, and attack. As such, a proselyte helm is going to be better. EDIT: Also, an Ardougne Cloak 3 is going to be the optimal choice because of the +6 prayer. (The defense bonus is relevant as well, since Vyres use stab.)
  17. I disagree. Champion's Guild should never have a truly worthwhile reward. It's not meant to be something players feel like they need to actively work towards, and it would be bad for the game to create an incentive for high-level players to crowd low-level training spots for hours on end looking for super-rare drops. The rewards should be straight xp rewards, cash/tradable item rewards (like logs, fish, essence, etc), and/or cosmetic rewards (the banners). Although I agree that the rewards should be increased, I strongly disagree about making them worthwhile. Make the xp rewards much larger and add some money, but don't make some untradable amulet that gives a 15% power boost against champion scroll droppers or some crap like that. That would be a horrible idea.
  18. Okay, first off, what exactly is "upgrayedd" supposed to mean? Besides being completely unpronouncable, it makes absolutely no sense. Upgrayedd = Upgrade :P Yes, we know. But we're still trying to figure out what it means. I've read through entire updates threads wondering if I was the only one scratching my head. :| It's a typo, apparently.
  19. Amg sailing@!@%#$@# The sailing banner on the front page is back too!!!1!@!!!
  20. Forum Name: troacctid FunOrb Name: troacctid F2P/P2P: p2p I have read the rules and accept them with no argument: Yeah, there aren't a lot of rules to argue with anyway haha
  21. Okay, first off, what exactly is "upgrayedd" supposed to mean? Besides being completely unpronouncable, it makes absolutely no sense. Second, why is a new member caring about new updates? They just got access to several years' worth of new updates all at once. I hardly think it's a big deal for them if they get a couple weeks without anything major. You're talking as if membership pays only for one week of content at a time. "Whoops, sorry, it's monday! You don't get to last week's stuff anymore!"
  22. I really see no reason to un-split rune and pure essence. What were the negative effects of the original split? It [cabbage]ed up the economy. That's it. And now the economy is perfectly stable once more--there is no shortage in supply or demand for either rune or pure essence. Runecrafters didn't lose money from it because rune prices changed to reflect the essence prices. What would be accomplished by merging them again? Nothing, except to re-[cabbage]-up the economy. The only thing affected would be price. Rune essence would change in price. Runes would change in price. Goods related to magic, like air orbs and common alchables, would change in price. Why is that necessary? All of those things are already at stable equilibrium prices. Runecrafters and mages aren't necessarily going to gain or lose money because again, the prices of runes will adjust to the new levels of supply and demand. And it's not as if runecrafting is dying out. It's still the game's top moneymaking skill. Nothing is broken here. Trying to "fix" the nonexistent problem would have no net positive effect anywhere. Any money gained by f2p essence miners is lost by f2p runecrafters; any money gained by p2p runecrafters is lost by p2p essence miners and mages. Cons: -[cabbage]s up the economy Pros: -None
  23. The general consensus, I think, is that Duradel's tasks are better.
  24. Well, Sara Sword is still better for crushing than the Zammy Spear. Not worth having both in my opinion just for a slightly better crush, since the spear is +5 more accurate but has 7 less strength. The difference is marginal. The spear is good for stab and crush, but the sword is good for crush and strength training only. Sure, the two have roughly the same damage output in crush mode, but the Sara Sword is still better even when you just need to crush. The notable difference is that the Sara Sword trains strength while crushing. Zammy spear only trains defensively. Strength experience is more valuable than defense experience. You can use a whip to train in defensive mode, but not aggressive, so whenever you want to train strength, you're not normally able to utilize the best weapon; however, when you're using crush attacks, the SS gives the opportunity to train aggressive-style without losing out on kill speed, so you should take that opportunity when it presents itself.
  25. Well, the whole TzHaar area is fairly high-level-oriented. Fight Caves and Fight Pits and Onyx are the main attractions, and they're all pretty high-end activities. I don't think we'll necessarily be seeing a Grandmaster quest in TzHaar anytime soon--more likely, we'll see Master quests.
