Military size certainly is significant. It's not the be all and end all of things, no..like you said technology and organization are important, but not sufficient by themselves. I doubt Israel would be in the state it is now without any American help, and North Korea would almost certainly win a war with SK if no assistance was given to either country. Of course we want to maintain diplomatic ties with China as they are a pretty important country. I don't know what you mean when you say "super weapons" unless you're talking about nuclear missiles, and the states isn't going to give those to anyone, particularly a country that might use them. The reason russia didn't fall is because it was so huge. Conquering Russia really isn't worth anyone's time. This is frankly untrue. NK has more then enough military power to take over south Korea (granted, it wouldn't be easy, but doable). That's precisely why the States is so involved here.

And South Korea could devote more energy into developing a strong military. Look at Israel a tiny country surrounded by enemies has been able to defend themselves without US soliders stationed there. If you feel we are obligated to defend Israel just like S korea then I think in both situations giving them powerful weapons should be acceptable. Yet they recieve a huge amount of assistance from the states in many different forms, plus the states now controls two countries in the middle east which were previously anti-israeli...

I think that's a bit of a stretch considering he's hardly mentioned their day to day interaction. All he said is that she was never that affectionate which could be a warning sign, but it could just be the personality as well. However, it seems like she does want to end it...so see what happens Sunday, and then if she wants to stay together, if things don't get better fast, I'd end it. It's not worth your time and feelings dragging out something that both parties aren't into.

Who called my name? :razz: The one thing I like about Natasha heavies, is when they're with me as regular heavy. They slow down targets, I kill. A good little combo. Heavies can be good but generally I think they're the class with the shortest learning curve. You can master heavy playing much faster than you can master other classes. The only classes I'm even close to mastering are scout and engie...I'm getting there with demo/medic but I'm terrible at all the other classes.

You should definitely be worried. Just ask her what's wrong. And it certainly is possible to be in love at that age, more depends on how long you've been dating...

Actually, church doctrine is quite clear on how those situations should have been approached. It's a pity they were approached they way they were because obviously what happened isn't permissible or moral. Those incidents were a corruption and abuse of the moral power of the church, not the fruition of it. I'll be the first to admit the church isn't perfect - it may come from God but as it's run by humans it's prone to mistakes. Morals are eternal - but they may need to be implemented, expanded or applied to deal with certain situations. That's why the church's teachings on abortion are what they are - because murder has been immoral since the foundation of the church and before that.
