  1. Nice win :P I remember you guys from my time in PKM.
  2. I'm staying retired, sorry. Plus neither TT or Exodus really appeals to me :P
  3. I remember I hated piano lessons at the time, but certainly am grateful now. And St. John's ambulance was completely useless.
  4. Lol. Every scientific organization in the world agrees that global warming exists and is attributed to human factors (or they are non-committal, NONE have dissented). Not actually. There are many scientists who disagree, but scientific journals won't publish their papers. Global warming is a "popular belief", one that, when strayed from, isn't taken well.
  5. Nice win Gladz :D
  6. Congrats on making it to the gallery, best picture there by far.
  7. Best case scenario: Water on the moon. Worst case scenario: Another hole in the moon and several million dollars wasted. But yes, as Nick said I can't see the moon being knocked out of orbit. And I'm sure NASA has thought this through. I don't see how this is going to work if the impact is going to be weak compared to what the Moon has taken so far. Aren't they trying to get inside the Moon? They'll need a large collision to do that. I guess it's a very small, centered collision. It should be designed to bore straight through in a long narrow hole, and the other one will improve the original hole. I admit I can't see this working, unless the moon is actually hollow (and I haven't seen any evidence that supports that theory).
  8. I'm happy for him, and certainly glad of some of the things he's done to help make the world a better place. However, the prematurity of this award is ridiculous. He hadn't even held office for a month at the time of the nominations, and the only thing he had done by then was announce the plan to close Guantanamo. I'd much prefer if he received this post presidency, after he'd actually done something noteworthy.
  9. I really think we should stick to something similar to what we had on the old forum - basically matching the site. I'd really like to see a lot of blue :P And I love how deflection is "so 2006" XD
  10. But how they are dealt with can and will be different. A bad member on RSC can be a good member elsewhere.
  11. Gratz LND :)
  12. More like through TT :P

  14. I don't see the need, there's a link to the main site right next to it.
  15. Incorrect, Flood limit can affect moderators too. However - its' the moderators who see the positive side effects of having flood limit in place. What I meant is that the moderators do not have a flood limit. And what I meant is that moderators, in certain situations, do have the flood limit.
  16. Clan staff is discussing this war. Flaming on this topic is pointless and any flame posts made from this point on will be removed. As always, pm evidence of any rulebreaking to a TWR moderator, Lady_ninane in this case.

  18. This has been discussed to death, and it isn't happening.
  19. ISTJ - Apparently I'm like George Washington. And Warren Buffet. *Insert happy billionaire thoughts*
  20. However, not wearing a seatbelt causes serious injury. Serious injury = expensive rehabilitation = more tax dollars spent. It's really just being proactive. (I realize not all countries have universal hc)
  21. I do know that your signature is too big (tall) and while I don't personally deal with sig removals I understand that images still affect dimension limits even if in hide tags.
  22. Member inbox limit should be increased to 400. Alright, thanks! Any way that we could still send messages to someone when their inbox is full? We had the feature on the old forums, and I think it would be useful to have again because some people are pack-rats, even with 400 messages. That wasn't enabled on the old forums - if it was enabled, what would be the point of the inbox limit? No one would ever reach it because everyone could send PMs to everyone else regardless of the receiver's inbox status. No one would have to delete any messages. You could still send it, but the receiver would have to delete a message from their inbox in order to be able to read it.
  23. Great find, really looking forward to it. I wonder when they'll get around to releasing it? :P
  24. Great! Thank you Pure_MageUK for getting this working :)
