  13. http://gigaom.com/2007/06/13/top-ten-most-popular-mmos/ http://www.destructoid.com/top-5-free-massive-multiplayer-online-role-playing-games-mmorpg--32659.phtml Those lists have a mistake in them. Habbo Hotel is not a game. It is a huge, 3D chatroom, ffs!! -.- --- Also, for the one who compared FPS games (Halo as an example) and Runescape and said that FPS games take no brains and Runescape does. ... Have you ever played Halo? Try to play the whole game on solo on Legendary. Without thinking at all. Let's see do you survive. Also, comparing the brains needed to play these games is a bad idea. These games require use of brains in different ways. Runescape takes brains in mode of quests, puzzles, minigames and calculations on skill training / money making. (Unless you use quest and mini-game guides and skill calculators, that is.) Halo and other FPS games require strategies, improvisation and good reactions in order to defeat the AI's / players. --- With the problem of unmature players on Runescape. There are loads of unmature players on Runescape, I must admit, but people always only bring up those unmature players and their horrible community and forget the mature players and their great community in Runescape.

[off-topic] I faced this "reporting does nothing" thing one day at GE. I reported someone for password scamming (using the "you can't say your pass backwards" scam) and informed him that I just reported him, I also politely said that he should stop scamming because all he does is ruin the game from everyone. His respond? He laughed at me, called me an [blam!], a [blam!], said that he doesn't care if his account gets banned because he hacked that account, that he is just going to make many new accounts to scam passwords, that he already scammed 4 passwords in last hour from there, and finally that reporting him does nothing. [/off-topic][on-topic] I actually quite suprisingly see macros really rarely. In fact, I haven't seen any macros in, let's say, last 2 months. :-s
  15. Omali... Please do not speak about something you apparently know nothing about. The author is right... I have sat for 10 mins a few times clicking my finger off just to get into that dang crater! Eatrunearrow... Please do not flame people who are telling the truth. I have sat for a maximum of 2 minutes at the entrance of the crater a few times without having to click my finger off just to get into that dang crater. If you spam click the crater entrance, you will most likely miss your chance to get into the crater. You don't have to keep clicking your finger off. Just be patient and calmly click the entrance approximately once in a second, and you should get into the crater in no time. There is nobody at clan wars in other worlds. Well, I can agree with this. It is really rare to see a large amount of people in other worlds than the official Clan Wars world. You should be able to get into the CW world quite quickly though, just keep refreshing the world select page using one of those arrows at the top of the world list. Sometimes this can take long, though, and that's why I think that Jagex should add 2 more Clan Wars worlds (1 F2P and 1 P2P).
  16. Yep. "Don't att before I pot", "don't pray", "don't safe". I bet the one who invented these rules just wanted to make fights easier to him/herself... Attacking people that are your level or better than you is idiotism. An intelligent player understands to attack the lower player, because he is (at least usually) easier to kill. For the lower levels, if you get killed by people higher than you all the time, get better stats. Simple as that.
