Hmm could get a good debating going here OT: i think that Rs is and isnt getting more serious tbh I think the players definatly are getting more serious but equal i think the game (through updates) is becoming less serious people no longer seem to do things for fun, just profit/xp gain and are often taking the game to serious, and in the mean time the game seems to be "dumbing" down for kids, I wonder if these are a result of each other? Overall though i think is a fine line and tipping the scales in either direction will only make the game worse

Your taunting the incinerators when you go on a community fan site and say the community is a failure :lol: Parts of the communtiy do, as you would put it, fail, every communtiy has it. In rs unfornunately it seems to be the majority, as the worse elements also often seem to be loudest, in game anyway. There are ascepts to the community which are good, you just posted on one of them, if you try to focus on that rather than the whining noobs you'll probably think the community isnt that bad overall really.

They really shouldnt, if you stop and think it becomes obvious really and most people seem to get that. And ye magic is a buyable skill to an extent, but casting the spells is a large part of the time spent on magic. In summoning the main time comsumer is collecting the charms, if you take that any people could get 99 summoning in a ridiculously short space of time.

Lol i was thinking this the other day, it is weird how near everthing is falling but little seems to be rising, i would have thought it would be a blend. Recession is probably a bit far, items may be drop but resources are staying pretty much the same. maybe the drop count on the monsters that drop those items needs to be changed to fix it, if it needs to be fixed at all that is

How can you say that the average age or maturity shouldn't change? Back in the RSC days the community was far more mature (thought not completely) than today. I dont doubt that the average maturity in Rsc was alot higher than now or after miniclip but at the end of the day miniclip is not the soul reason for this. When Rsc was launched not every child had access to the internet and Rs may not have appealed to them as much. Nowdays there are alot more kids online looking for free games. Its inevitable(with or without game sites) that the number of kids playing the game would increase. Even if Rs hadnt been put on miniclip the average maturity would have decreased, people love to have a scape goat though and miniclip bought the bullet. And in the future the community will probaly become less mature again but is the advertise of the game on sites like these the only reason? No, its because of the same reasons that have effected Rs in the past and the fact that the game seems to be leaning toward a younger audience.

[/hide]Then you don't remember when it happened. The community wasn't bad before miniclip, then Jagex put RuneScape on miniclip, and I turned off my public chat. Oh well. The community can't get much worse, can it? It's horrible as it is. Okay well this is what i mean, The community hasnt gone to rat [cabbage] just because of miniclip, and i do remember when it happened. There was alot of talk of how the people from miniclip were ruining the game and people just started believing it was true, really though theres no evidence. When people tell you people are acting immature all of a sudden you start noticing it more, when really it was there all along you just werent noticing it. Even if there was an influx of immature people from miniclip they would have quit or probaly gotten more mature by now.

Very little, the whole "miniclip ruined rs" arguement is pretty flawed tbh. I dont think miniclip did that much to the game really, i know people who joined in that wave of players and there just as fine as the rest of us. Unless this site is for really young kids (dunno whether it is or not) the average age of an Rs gamer shouldnt change, nor should the average maturity.

If im somewhere remote and have food i'll kill a couple extra but i dont really kill an extra one, i usually just want to get onto my next task

I think it must vary perosn to person, i personally cant imagine selling up evrything for one item, but i can see why you think its a burden. Respect wise i think it earns a fair amount but i think high levels in skills are worth more tbh,

wbms usually have a reason to report, even if it seems trivial. I guess its annoying if it happens to you often but if you dont give them a reason it should happen less, Personally i dont like the term "wbm" its one thing to report someone for no reason but most of the time people report for a reason and when you start accusing people of being wbm, it decourages people to report rule breakes which is bad imo, :shame:

At first i got to play more, what with no school, but after getting a job i probably ended up playing less, My goal of getting a D chain, was suspensed, re-evaluted and finally scrapped, didnt manage it in the end though, so i got an SS with the money instead For Rs as a whole i think its been a good summer, nice new graphics, quests and stuff to do. Im looking forward to the winter now really for the pvp updates

im still loving it when its working but it can be alittle tempermental for me, hasnt changed my outlook on normal Rs though i still enough that as much as i ever did,

If its browser based and has the same setup as Rs ill give it a look, but theres no point saying i definetly will try it until more details about it come out, Probaly won't drop my Rs character for it though, no matter how good it is. If i was gonna do that id go a Wow or something first.

Hmm... what i want to know, more than were will be a safezone, will be how is pvp steped. ie Can a lvl 100 attack a lvl 3 just so long as hes outside the safe zone? Or will it be 4 levels above or below like in RSc? I think the further you get anyway for towns and cities the level range will increase like old wildy but in towns/cities the range will be at its lowest,
