Defender of Varrock, the last quest to be released, continued the storyline of Arrav. A storyline which has been around for as long as I've been playing and im guessing Rs 2. It also continued the lores and histories Tale of Arrav and brought us a step closer to heading north with Majharrat. The Quest before last that which came out, Summers end, also brought about the end of a quest chain (even if it was an extremely short one). The 150th/Biggest longest quest is also on the horizion at this time which will also hopefully tie up some loose ends. All of this got me thinking, What if Jagex are now finally looking to close some quest chains? I seems to me that now that the new graphics have been released and some other major incidences take care of (rwt) jagex may now be looking to finish some of what they started. Could MEP 3 be around the corner or maybe the conclusion to the gnomes quests. What do you think? Have we just been lucky recently or are jagex begining to close a chapter in some of the quests chains?

They havent so much returned as they never really went away, the numbers reduced dramatically but they are slowly creeping back up. Of course Bh is to blame for the majority of the money transfering but until its removed wealth can continue to be transfered without great difficulty. Tbh i hope they remove Bh once the new pvp comes out, i think that the kill/loot systems are really causing more trouble than there worth and so long as the new pvp rewards are half decent then i think people could adjust to it in time. The unfortuanate truth is that without drastic steps its hard to make an impact on Rwt, what happened in Dec last year was a drastic step and put a huge dent in Rwt, to actually stop/slow it down again would take another drastic step imo, and for every person who is ready to accept it there will be someone ready to start a riot or quit over it. For me removng Bh when the new pvp comes out would be that step but its obvious that A) it would by no means stop it completely and B) would be a very unpopular move, Of course there are other ways to transfer money, such as the G.E, and even if they were banned im postive a new way would be found, (kill/loot thousands of sharks at clan wars?) but still its important steps are taken to try and reduce Rwt's impact. Otherwise what was the point in losing the wildy in the first place?

3 is not worth it imo, and 15-18 mil sure as hell isnt!!! I paid 800k to fill my zammy book a year or so back, and i thought i got ripped off :-# I got all three of my god books for less than 2 mil and i dont really think that was worth it tbh :lol: ^ Much better way to spend your money

Really good quest, always nice to have a majharrat storyline developed imo, and some nice cutscenes, Reward aint bad either really, much better than some other quests of similar difficulty, And as ever were a step closer to heading north with the Majharrat :thumbsup:

Why if i skill is easier is it offically killed? It aint like they just made cooking or fletching easier is it, prayer is a bloody time consuming skill to level. Also from what ive read this method is still just as/no faster than using a G altar, so basically the skill has changed very little. God, i seriously think there will be a post on this forum soon claiming the sky is about fall... THE END IS NIGH.

I'm pretty sure they said it would be released by the end of the year in the original annoucement, so some time between oct 1st -jan 1st probably,

I actually win all of my games, except for a couple once in a blue moon I also tank the middle, just the runners, they'll run and telly back to middle, then it takes forever to find them, so thats why I hate them :wall: How you only lose once in a blue moon with your level being so low i really cant believe, anyway if i deciphered your post correctly, i would suggest you play on a less busy world if your having trouble finding someone standing in the middle, I always play on the second busiest (f2p) world, that way theres plenty of chalengers but you dont get beaten just because the centre is to crowded. hmm, i pretty sure its against the rules to make an entire post in one colour, Anyway OT: There hasnt been one annouced and I very much doubt it, F2p has had a wealth of updates recently, alot more that it did usually. I seem to recall Jagex saying there wasnt going to be another f2p quest but that might not have been on record. There hasnt been a f2p quest (bar the new tutorial) in years and tbh i cant see there being a new one in the conceivable future, but who knows.

Good read, Not sure i really fit in any of those caterogies, but lately id say im more of a skiller than anything. I agree with the view on price manipulators, although its hard to tell how much damage is being done by the manipulators and how much is the panic that ensues. Makes me sceptical about the power they wield, but its definately a problem with no obvious solution.

Dont worry no one here is really super pissed about it, some people just love to run their mouths. You won and most people accept that. Even if the first game was biased due to crashing (which, from what ive heard, had nothing to do with Rv anyway) you won the last game fair and square. And please dont start your topic by telling us we should ashamed when its only a minority of Bsers who are causing trouble, its probably the same over at Rv, most of us just had fun at the event and after party and left it at that. Well next mon/tues is still september so this quest isnt even really late yet, As soon as it wasnt out the tuesday just gone, it was pretty clear it wouldnt be released until the following week imo, And as someone pointed out this months has hardly been an update drought, we've had a fair bit

Ye clue scrolls aint as good as they used to be reward wise, i really cba with anything below a level 2 clue as its probably not going to make me a profit. As far as level required to wear something is concerned i dont really agree with you, clue scrolls arent really hard and without requirements such as that the rewards would be even more common imo. Certain locations that arent accessable to everyone are another thing people complain about with clue scrolls but that doesnt really bother me, i think its a good reason to go do some of the quests or motivate people to get the levels for a certain item. btw i think your title is a bit vague lol, but w/e i guess it doesnt matter

Just got a ringmaster hat at 61 agility doing this method, scored 1202. I did use an agility pot before i did it, so i guess thats worth doing for a boost.

This is gonna be awesome, last years was Epic and Tip.it owned. Anyone know why the steel plateskirt is being used over the legs? or is the pic on the first page just an example. Hopefully in the next few weeks there'll be a TET event going to recruit some more fighters and drum up some support.
