Anyway people come to rant so let them rant, this section would be boring if every issue was resolved a few posts in. Maybe, I cant really tell tbh. While the evil baby-snatching peace hating communist pkers have dwinled and most people have declared they were the root of all evil, I cant say Ive seen a great increase in terms of maturity. As far as the kids leaving goes i wouldn't agree, they're still there and really alot of content will probably keep them playing. I do like the way the new quest killed alot of characters of though, and seemed to have pretty deep threads running through it. Felt more geared to a mature audience. Tbh thats got nothing to do with maturity, some peoples english is just poor (Im no expection).

I guess i could be a replacement but I'd sorta expect that most people who have completed GBR have probably completed MM for a D scimmy or even be able to afford a whip or something. Both of which are better imo because of speed. Cant really speak for duelling though, maybe it would be useful.

Falador one is pretty cool, the rest are a little lame but i guess thats because there to christmas heavy for me (ye I know im probably missing the point). Not sure Id like to give(or receive) an Rs card, but I still think its good jagex made the effort.

Thank god you ended that sentence with the rolling eyes smiley, for a split second i thought you where being serious. As far as the updates part goes maybe they just forgot to do it on the other posts, or maybe they only do it one post a day?

Tbh I was just bloody annoyed to see it drop so much as I ended up only getting 5m from the quest rather than 10m but I guess thats me just being whiny. : Good article btw, All things considered eventually the D plate will become cheaper than the D chain. It might take years but in the end enough people will have completed the quest or got drops from demons to drive the price below that of the chains, at that point maybe it will stop being as useless and instead be a good piece of armour for lower lvl players.

Meh I dont think there one coming out as theres been no build up, granted that hunting and construction didnt either but from now on I get the feeling jagex will advertise and hype a new skill up like they did with summoning. Also the new feature in Bts that showcases the next few months would probably mention something. Tbh i dont really think jagex should churn out skills just to keep to an annual rota, much better to implement a skill when other things have been sorted and perfected. Also Sailing = Fail (it could actually be alright but i think Rs coastlines might need some expanding)

With FM, Herblor, Fletch, and WC, there are at least different things to do. Different log types. Arrows for fletching, many different potions for herblor, FM, at least there are pyre and tinder-less firemaking. Thats an extremely narrow view of sailing, You could just as easily say FM is just burning the same type of logs with the same tinderbox, where as there are various logs and the other stuff you've mentioned. Sailing could be the same with various types of boats, destinations, events, activities. Boiling down an entire skill to something the dictionary defines it as really doesnt do it justice. Anyway its irrelevant as theres no evidence that sailing will become a skill.

Yawn... I really find it hard to believe that banner and a couple of forged pics can really make people believe a sailing skill will be released, Just goes to show people love to speculate on assumtions based on speculations of theorys about possibilties, and how the vast majority of the Rs community believe 2 + 2 = 5 Also sailing would be an awful skill imo,

Thats the really problem, that the GE is not accurate with street prices, Which tbh is ridiculous. If things were allowed to be sold at the prices want to buy at we wouldn't have such problems with rare items.

Awesome rant, I thought it was Stephen Fry laying into farmers for a second there. I know what you mean though being told what to do and how to do it constantly and then being mocked because you dont follow peoples advice gets tedious fast. Farming can be an awesome skill if you get involved though.

My God that took ages to read through, so worth it though. Some of the speculation is based on assumptions but i guess that is expected and the theroy at the end involving Robert the strong doesnt corresponde to the timeline in the museum does it? Anyway that aside its amazing how my has been collated here, tbh i really didnt think there was this much info on the DragonKin but i guess once you go digging... Its awesome that Jagex haveing been planting these seeds for years now, since like postbag 5 and before, hopefully these storylines will be expanded upon soon.
