  1. aaaand pretty much everything I can think of related to those.
  2. http://www.mediafire.com/?h36y4ellttl8iol <- if anyone wants to watch me DM. I did kind of average today but you win some, you lose some. I miss a ton of easy shots too. ._. Instructions: Paste into /steamapps/yourname/tf/ Start TF2 Open up console Type: playdemo dm1.dem
  3. Yeah. I also use tr_rocket_shooting and tr_airshot (one is for bounce airshots and one is for midairs) which are also good for demo too.
  4. Well teamwork isn't the be all and end all obviously, but a combination of the two is best, I think we can agree :) Yeah, I'm with you there. If you've got the skills and can work as a team too, then you're set! ITG Ruerin sucks at rollouts and rocket jumping. I watched Jaeger's tutorial and it's so fluid and I'm kinda clumsy but I do get to mid. I have to say he's right on about exploring the maps though, found a ton of potentially amazing hiding places to just "appear" from. :3 I'm very rusty at soldier and need to spend some time in tr_aim_training and pubbing before I hit up DM servers again, but I did some cool roaming stuff today and MVPed without really trying to. Best part is when I was perched around a corner on Freight, saw my team weaken but eventually lose out to the enemies, jumped down and finished them all off. I felt like I was Fragga or something.
  5. Only in pubs. A good team will own a bunch of good individual players any day. Really it's inverse to this because a lot of the good teams don't use much, if any, strat. Who really needs it if you're good enough at killing things anyway? Generally strict teamwork is a lower division thing because it is generally accepted that a team of low players whom are capable of working with each other will roll. However, the gap between Division 6 and Division 5 in terms of skill at DM is fairly big, and once again between Division 5 and Division 4. Being able to work together is important but you can't rely on your team constantly - in fact, unless you play demo or pocket soldier you won't be getting much in the way of healing and help from your team, not in EU leagues anyway. There are many videos of a single Division 1 scout fighting off the other sollies and scouts - if you didn't have the DM skills, you wouldn't be able to defend yourself in competitive play. I get where you're coming from and it does seem that way in public servers (which is why people are so mad in them all the time!) but actually a lot of the teamwork is really subtle. Oh and the fact that most pubbers can't DM for s**t too.
  6. This game is actually only 20% teamwork, the other 80% is about your DM skills.
  7. The 40:10 is K/D, right? Not bad at all. Btw, is that scoreboard thing only on some servers? How do you get to it? It's a competitive HUD, broeselhud. These things are more useful for medics because you can see exactly how much health your team mates have, but I like having the health cross and ammo right in front of me. Also it has a handy damage indicator above the +, which is invaluable as Scout.

    Meds

Risperidone + diazepam for bipolar disorder. [cabbage] is terrible, I need a real deal mood stabiliser rather than this baby stuff. Doesn't really do anything other than make me stupid.
  9. Know you guys don't give a [cabbage] about my scoreboards but I gotta post them somewhere. Got a 19 killstreak while doing this. meh.
  10. Beating MGS2 on European Extreme. Say what you want but that game is already (satisfyingly) challenging on normal.
  11. If any guys from the UK play here, I want a scrim partner. :> My Steam And yep, DH as roam = yeeeeeees. I usually play scout and off to sniper though.

    Facebook

I'm quite happy with not using Facebook. Twitter is more fun.
  13. Only problem I had with Asus was quality control on their monitors, however they were replaced easily.

    Holiday Gifts

Apart from buying myself a new desk (which unfortunately coincided with December because my current one is falling apart) I'm not receiving or giving anything. I'm not into the whole presents thing and nobody I really know is either. It makes my life easier.
  15. I never heal heavies. Scouts and snipers work better. Direct Hit is great. Directs are a vital part of soldier technique and well, despite soldier being autistic-friendly, it adds an element of skill to the class. I use it in scrims too. [bleep] the haters. I should play sniper more but holy hell am I out of practice. In my opinion, actually being legitimately GOOD at heavy takes quite a while - the GRU make heavy a lot more useful on attack/defend and 5CP. Anyone can rack up 150 points and 6 dominations on pl and plr (I posted a screenshot of me doing that a while back). It's kind of a difficult class to play on 5CP because if the other team's scouts or snipers are worth a damn, it's easy to get destroyed when focusing on other things. It's mostly about knowing when to retreat and when to spin up - i.e. you should spin up when going around corners or coming down from above. IMO it's a boring and weak class but I've barely played any heavy. It certainly doesn't need buffing or nerfing because it's situational. This only really works against [cabbage]ty players. Chances are if you're doing that I would've headshot you. I don't have anything against soldier, I think it's a strong class, but I feel kind of cheap playing it when I could be doing something aim-based like scout or sniper. Soldier is my favourite pubbing class though, so much fun to make people whine when you airshot them.

  17. Pyro needs more skill/reward mechanics.
  18. Degreaser + homewrecker for team love. I'm back into playing scout which is great. Jumping around heavies all day.

    Today...

It's a casual FPS. Keep sleeping at 6pm and waking up at 4am. Not sure how I feel about this at all.
